    An alternative...

    Dude,

There are taxi drivers that will take you to out-of-the-way places where you can choose your partner. No smoky bars. No lady drinks. Just give him 200-300 peso. Quick and clean.

I found one by perusing this very forum. He'll take you to a place where there will be 15-20 young lovelies all willing to satisfy your urges. The only problem is, you need to start filtering: "girls with no baby"; "girls under 25", etc.

    Good luck,

    Call girls Vs Pick ups?

Thanks for the clarification on price of freedom in PI.

However, I am intrigued that in these fora, everybody concentrates so much on pick ups. Hardly anybody mentions, reviews or posts on call girls, who you could dial in. I wonder why. I am new to this scene. I respect all the accumulated wisdom of the members of this forum. So tell me is it better to go to a bar and pick up rather than dial a girl in? WHy so? There is hardly any descriptions about that service and no review of call in agencies and the girls they have. Also the experiences and good and bad about it. What worked, and what didnt? What precautions should one take? Any recommendations? SO that if someone wanted to stay in and enjoy, they could do so with the combined confidence that this forum can bestow? What say?

LAS. Didn't see it in the Manila section. I've been eagerly awaiting your report. Your report of distinction on the Makati bars is the best FR I've ever seen on Makati. It's become my bible. LOL.

I've got a newbie question for you or anyone else who is familiar with the Greenbelt. In the past, I've always gone to Burgos, Ermita or EDSA when I'm in Manila. I have been to the Hard Rock and the Greenbelt area in general but it was sometime ago and my Alzheimer's is kicking in. :) From the maps I've seen, there are 3 Greenbelt areas. What is the difference between them and which would be the best one to go checkout the freelancers? A good taxi dropoff point? I know I could walk around between the 3 but that's a lot of area to cover in the heat and possible rain. Also from what I can tell, there is more than one Starbucks in the Greenbelt. Which would you recommend? Any areas to avoid? I appreciate any and all advice.

    Thanks

great info. Will check that out. My friend put that IMAX in Manila so I hope it does well. Any nice hotel within walking distance of Grenbelt1?

    Date places

In my week+ in Makati/Manila I only used a semi-pro once (found around 1 am at Cafe Havana) and most of my time was spent keeping my internet girls content, in bed and out. Here were some places for wining and dining and funning around:

Strumm's: A live band bar near Burgos Street. It's on Jupiter Street. The band on the night we visited was pretty famous and the girl I was with was impressed. Next to here is a sports bar with good eats and it also shows rugby matches, which my Aussie pal liked.

Filling Station: In the middle of sleaziest Burgos Street but still good for bringing regular girls. It's one of those 50's style places, a place for a good feed.

Cafe Havana: Yes, I also picked up a freelancer here but it's also a good place to bring a girl. It's in Greenbelt 1, just across from Landmark/Glorietta. They have Arabic sheesha pipe smokes and also sell top of the line cigars. It's often hard to find an outside place to sit so get here early or just tip one of the waiters a lot.

Greenbelt 1 other: The top floor above Cafe Havana has a good Spanish restaurant with paellas and other favorites. It has a good view over the woodsy part of Greenbelt, a rare chance for a nature-like experience in Manila.

Hard Rock: Of course it's also good for the band and eating at night. But I found it useful in mid-afternoon on a weekday. I was just breaking the ice with a new girl. The place was empty and we got a table in the billiards area looking out over Glorietta and the Shangri-La. Shooting pool and all the 'inadvertant' bumping and rubbing and general clowning around accelerated the warming up process and getting some action.

Ratsky: Actually in Malate in Manila but I can't be bothered to make a separate post about it. I actually like the Ratsky in Cebu better but this one is also okay with a good band.

Mall of Asia: This is the new one just off of Roxas. It has an up to date (IMAX?) kind of theatre that the girls like to go to. And of course Manila has endless malls just for strolling, killing time, eating and watching movies.

Thanks CB. I don't think I ever made it upstairs before. I must have been drunker than I thought. ha ha. I'll make sure I check it out the next time.

    CL,

Thanks for the directions to Ringside. This board really does make it easier for us tourists. :)

In the past, I always made it a point to visit Edsa but the last couple of times I went there, me and friends were swarmed as soon as we walked in to the bars ala Burgoss style. I had a shirt torn by thirsty aggressive types in Edsa the last time and had to tip a couple of waitresses P100 each and buy them a few drinks to basically be our bodyguards and keep the masses away from our table. Then they would just circle and wait for when of our bodyguard waitresses were off filling orders to make their move. Now I know how the seal feels when he's surrounded by sharks. More and more I'm drawn to Ermita for this reason. Please post on the latest happenings at Jurassic and Butterfly in the Manila seciton. :) Cheers!

Is it safe to call a girl to the hotel now?

    Hi

I have somehow never felt comfortable going to a bar and picking up a girl. Instead, I call a girl from an agency. Basically, they take girls from a few different bars (all have the same owner) such as Billboard, Bottoms, Shampoo, etc...and the girls will go 3 rounds. I think each round is 2 minutes. The rounds are not back 2 back and seperated by dancers who do their routines between rounds.

Some of the girls/boxers can be a little shy in the ring and don't go right at it. The announcer tends to goad them into the fighting. They also stop quite often in the middle of the round to let the girls regain their composure. Just because it is boxing it does not mean they want the girls to get hurt.

It is quite entertaining to watch and the other girls tend to get interested and enjoy it as well.

As for the girls in the bar there are quite a few cute ones. I think happy hour is 6PM-8Pm but don't quote me on that.
