I tried Intercontinental, Dusit and Mandarin Oriental. No happy ending offered. The actual massage at Oakwood starts at 1200 for 1 hr.

I am quite aware that you could get a massage +hand job for 450 at several places in Makati. However I wanted it to be walking distance from my apartment in Ayala Av, which restricts the choice to the area aroung Glorietta, and for the environment to be that of a top Spa.

Unless I am mistaken this sort of thing can only be found in a 5 star hotel. I would very much welcome any alternative venues. Indeed I did ask for guidance from fellow members before my trip without much success.

You may say it is a rip off, but the ladies are asking a minimum of php1000 in any 4-5 stars hotel, especially if you are caucasian. It depends on how good you are to negotiate the price down.

Just arrived in Manila last Friday after 40+ hours of traveling due to weather delays.

My wife is with me and we are staying at the Mandarin Oriental and I was exhausted from the trip and wanted a massage.

I walked with my brother-in-law to a place a block off of Jupiter called Oasis massage or something like that. It was on the 2nd floor above a some parking spaces. I think it was 500 for an hour but we saw about 4 or 5 girls there and decided to pass.

We went back to the hotel, got his car and went to PDP. The room rate was 2000.

This was the first time for both of us and we arrived at about 10:30pm. There were about 20 girls in the aquarium and I asked the guy for his recommendations. He recommended 3 girls who all looked good but I took the first one he suggested which was #18. My BIL took #19.

I hadn't slept for 48 hours other than a few minutes here and there on the plane so I almost fell asleep before the girl came in. When she came in, she looked much better than in the aquarium. She was 5'3" and about 100lbs with a nice, tight body. My BIL said that #19 gave a great massage and was very talkative and friendly.

For some reason, it doesn't look like too many people give detailed FRs so I will refrain also. I will say that she quoted me the 2000 room rate for extras. I was too tired to negotiate so I agreed. I know that at many places the room rate is the norm. I have heard that there is a lower rate from 2am to noon but I haven't confirmed that.

I'd have to say that despite the price, I will go back--maybe even tonight since it is a 24hr place. Since I am with my wife, I don't want to come back smelling like smoke from a bar and I know I can be in and out in 1.5 hours or less. That means less than 2 hours away from the room and a cost of 4000. The cost of a barfine, ST hotel and tip to the girl will probably cost the same amount and I saw at least 4 or 5 girls I wouldn't have minded being with.

If I go again I'll pay a little more attention to the selection and give some details.

There hasn't been a good run down on the Makati bars, so I thought would update the board. Just keep in mind that the bars are all quite different, and my favorites will not necessary be yours. It is based on living here for 9 months now, coming to the area about 10 times a month. I'll typically spend about $1,500 to $2,000 per month on drinks/barfines/tips/Victoria Court, which is probably about 45% EDSA/45% Burgoss/10% someplace else. Yes, I know that EDSA is cheaper and La Cafe is cheaper still, but I have my reasons. There just isn't enough selection in EDSA for me to find 15 girs a month, and LA Cafe is a risky place if you partake as often as me. While it is no guarantee, the bi-monthly testing at the EDSA and BURGOSS bars significantly reduces risk. But to the casual visiter to Manila, I wouldn't sweat it. I think it is really only an important factor if you live here (statistics)

I will list all bars with my personal rating. Ratings are based merely on which bars I choose to go to most often and which ones I bar fine from the most. If I happen to go to one bar much more than the others, and take girls from the bar alot, it will rate a 10 with me. Also, I have never been to a VIP room with a girl. If that is your thing, then you will certainly have different preferences for bars than me. A rating of 5 represents an average bar. CAFE MOGAMBO 6. The rejects. Girls tend to be older and some are downright ugly. It is dark in the bar (for obvious reasons). Bar fine is 1,600. However, with that said, the girls tend to be some of the sweetest girls you will find. And there is always the diamond in the rough.

WILD WEST 8. The only bar in the area not on Burgoss St or Kalayan. This one is on Makati blvd, about a minute walk from Flamingo, but easy to miss. This tends to be a bar where many new girls start before they are assigned. Now, of course it doesn't strictly work that girls start at Wild West and then get assigned to another bar, but it certainly is a tendancy. I have had 3 "first day on the job" girls here, as opposed to zero at any of Doug's other bars. You won't find one on every visit, but you would be a fool to not give it a try (unless of course you happen to perfer experianced bar girls). Bar fine is 1,600. The bar is a minute off the beaten track for a reason. It is small bar, so the selection is not large however.

MIRRORS 5. One of the newest bars in town. Often has a good dance show going. Average girls.

BOTTOMS 5. A lot of decent looking women here, but they tend to be raunchy. If sucking a girls tits in the bar is your thing, this is the place.

ROUGES 4. A great bar to play to pool and hang, but few girls. VERY FEW cute ones.

HOLLYWOOD 5. Small bar, but a decent selection.

So if you think that 25 to 30 is the perfect age for a girl, you are in heaven. If you like the 18 to 21 camp, just skip this bar.

JUNGLE 5. A sister bar to IVORY. A very small bar, but not bad.

TICKLES 4. Never found anything here.

SHAMPOO 5. A Decent selection.

BILBOARD N/A. At first look, a very nice bar indeed! Lots of very cute girls. Great decor, lighting and sound. The best dance shows on Burgoss. But just one problem. Many of the girls, and all of the cute ones, are not typical bar girls. The bar pays a decent (relatively) salary to all girls, and none of them are expected to bar fine. However, all girls (except I think some of the key dancers) are allowed to bar fine IF they want to. Because of this policy, the bar tends to attract girls who want to earn a decent salary without having to bang a stranger every night. My advice would be to not waste any money or time trying to barfine any of the cuter girls in the bar, unless you want to invest your time in becoming their boyfriend. It is the number one bar in the area if want to bar hop with your recent barfine, and I come here often. The atmophere in this bar is great.

FOXYS 6. A large bar with a good selection. Since Stardust "burned down" at the beginning of December, all those girls now work here. The bar is often closed for some strange reason, but it is worth a look. An easy bar to miss, as it is a one minute walk from Burgoss, on Kalayan St. I guess that is why it is relatively devoid of cutomers.

CUDDLES 4. Very small bar. Never seen anything worthwhile.

ENCHANTED ROOM 5. The bar is upstairs, over Papillon. So so.

PAPILLON 5. Average bar.

FRIDAYS 5. Decent selection.

MONTANA 7. A good selection of girls. I have had a few from here.

This will be the 1st of a month long report of my vacation in the Phils.

Long boring flight from San Fransisco, arrived late finally checked into the Prince Plaza II at about 130 am with one of my best buddies from days gone by. He had his Phillipina G/F meet as at the airport so that made transport an easy issue.

Taxi there and after a little difficulty, I find the place and figure what the heack for 5 bucks I'm going for 2 hours. I tell the girl I want a 2 hour massage and she leads me to the room (actually a curtain enclosed area with a bed in it and then was asked if it would be ok if I have one girl for the 1st hour and a 2nd girl for the next hour. Who am I to refuse her request? I proceed to strip down, place a sheet on my bumm and wait. In about 4 minutes a young, 25ish girl comes in and gives me a massage. Some small talk and she says another girl after 1st hour ok? I say ok. Well the massage was good 7.5 on a 10 scale. No happy ending though. CAFE MOGAMBO 6. The rejects. Girls tend to be older and some are downright ugly. It is dark in the bar (for obvious reasons). Bar fine is 1,600. However, with that said, the girls tend to be some of the sweetest girls you will find. And there is always the diamond in the rough.

WILD WEST 8. The only bar in the area not on Burgoss St or Kalayan. This one is on Makati blvd, about a minute walk from Flamingo, but easy to miss. This tends to be a bar where many new girls start before they are assigned. Now, of course it doesn't strictly work that girls start at Wild West and then get assigned to another bar, but it certainly is a tendancy. I have had 3 "first day on the job" girls here, as opposed to zero at any of Doug's other bars. You won't find one on every visit, but you would be a fool to not give it a try (unless of course you happen to perfer experianced bar girls). Bar fine is 1,600. The bar is a minute off the beaten track for a reason. It is small bar, so the selection is not large however.

MIRRORS 5. One of the newest bars in town. Often has a good dance show going. Average girls.

DIMPLES 5. Small bar. A decent selection, but I find that the cute ones are often "virgins". A popular bar, but usually older customers (the regulars anyway).

BOTTOMS 5. A lot of decent looking women here, but they tend to be raunchy. If sucking a girls tits in the bar is your thing, this is the place.

ROUGES 4. A great bar to play to pool and hang, but few girls. VERY FEW cute ones.

HOLLYWOOD 5. Small bar, but a decent selection.

MASCARA 4. Never found anything interesting here.

BLUSH 7. Large, new bar. Owned by a very friendly Austrailian (If you see a guy who looks just Drew Carry, that's him). Bar fine is 2,500. They are also the only bar that I know of with short time rooms upstairs. They don't advertise the fact (not allowed in Makati), so you have to ask. A lot of girls, often cute ones. Also, they sometimes have good shows.

RASCALS 7. A smaller bar, which tends to go up and down. Right now it is definately up. Tend to be the "very cute with attitude" type of girl.

IVORY 4. Well, the good news is that this bar has the most girls except for maybe Flamingo. The bad news is thay they are all either old or ugly. Now, in this area old is over 25. So if you think that 25 to 30 is the perfect age for a girl, you are in heaven. If you like the 18 to 21 camp, just skip this bar.

JUNGLE 5. A sister bar to IVORY. A very small bar, but not bad.

TICKLES 4. Never found anything here.

SHAMPOO 5. A Decent selection.

BILBOARD N/A. At first look, a very nice bar indeed! Lots of very cute girls. Great decor, lighting and sound. The best dance shows on Burgoss. But just one problem. Many of the girls, and all of the cute ones, are not typical bar girls. The bar pays a decent (relatively) salary to all girls, and none of them are expected to bar fine. However, all girls (except I think some of the key dancers) are allowed to bar fine IF they want to. Because of this policy, the bar tends to attract girls who want to earn a decent salary without having to bang a stranger every night. My advice would be to not waste any money or time trying to barfine any of the cuter girls in the bar, unless you want to invest your time in becoming their boyfriend. It is the number one bar in the area if want to bar hop with your recent barfine, and I come here often. The atmophere in this bar is great.

FOXYS 6. A large bar with a good selection. Since Stardust "burned down" at the beginning of December, all those girls now work here. The bar is often closed for some strange reason, but it is worth a look. An easy bar to miss, as it is a one minute walk from Burgoss, on Kalayan St. I guess that is why it is relatively devoid of cutomers.

CUDDLES 4. Very small bar. Never seen anything worthwhile.

ENCHANTED ROOM 5. The bar is upstairs, over Papillon. So so.

PAPILLON 5. Average bar.

FRIDAYS 5. Decent selection.

MONTANA 7. A good selection of girls. I have had a few from here.

HIGH HEELS 5. The bar is up and down, but right now it is down. I once found two in one week from this place, but nothing in a while. Lots of dark corners in this bar, and one of the only bars where I am inclined to let the girls unzip me.

JOOLS 6. A little different from most of the other bars. The girls here tend to be older (early to mid twenties), better educated, and more like hostesses than bargirls. Of course, all girls will still barfine. They have a show at I think 10:30 and 1:00 am. The show is like a really low end Vegas type revue. Feel free to miss it. If you like your girls to have a little poise, you may like the girls here.
