Genius8's advice on the registration and requesting double keys is excellent. It saves the hassle, and saves having the girl(s) register when you walk into the hotel with her. I have never seen a hotel here that will give you any trouble at all about brining a girld to the room. The reason hotels make girls register and show IDs has to to with security and not morality.

I would add the Nikko Dusit to the list of top hotels. I stayed at the Intercon four weeks ago and it was lovely, but I actually preferred to Dusit, and the price is about the same.

Always let your GF choose the other girl for your 3-some. Since it did not work out with the Hard Rock girl, have you tried the Skyline MP at the 8th Flr of Grand Blvd Hotel? Talk to the receptionist first if you can do a 3-some w/ your GF and one of their masseuse in their room. If not, then talk to the girl directly for an after work tryst with you and the GF.

For those that are interested, ALL hotels in the PI are hotel friendly. For the 4/5-Star hotels (like the Intercontinental), they require that all girls going to the rooms are either guests or w/ hotel guests. If they have a key, they are considered guests. When you check-in, always register for Double Occupancy, the charge is the same, and ask for 2 room card keys.

Sorry but the same thing could happen with a bar girl if they want it to. That is a risk you have to take, but I fell where I was staying and what we did together first, I didn't think that was going to happen. As well as the fact she left at 1 a.m. and my hotel's security who know me VERY well saw me put her in the cab and how she looked when she left.

Looks like Genius8 may be worthy of his name. My GF and I picked up a girl at the Hard Rock bar named Michelle. Cute, wouldn't have been my choice, but the lady got to pick and fix the rules.

I think it was a mistake for my GF not to specify that we wanted her to do us both before we left the bar. When we got back to our room at the Peninsula, I went and took a shower. Michelle dawdled and dawdled. She wanted the lights off. She wanted loud music on. She wanted the TV off. She didn't want my GF to watch. She wanted to keep her dress on. If I were alone, I would have shown her the door about 15 minutes before we actually did. Buh-bye!

BTW, my GF and Michelle were asked to register when they entered the hotel unescorted. GF simply said she was staying there and showed her key, they were fine.

I am back from my three days trip to Manila. Thanks to all who gave their info about Interconti. It is GF friendly and I had no problems at all. Three nights, three girls, a wonderfull trip. I picked them up from Bottoms, Bandidos and Jools. Will post some pix in the picture section later.

summary of hotel recommendations

based on the postings, the personal messages, and my previous experience, the consensus appears to be:

- if you don't care about price, the makati shangrila hotel is the best choice in makati re quality of room and food, amenities (pool, high speed internet in rooms), and proximity to gf hunting zones like 2nd floor bar, starbucks, glorietta, landmark, and greenbelt 3. note that gfs can go in and out without even passing by staff if they go upstairs to the second floor and catch elevator there. also note that if you join the free golden circle club you get free breakfast (you still have to pay for the gfs :-) and free fresh mangos and other fruit in the room daily.

- several other hotels are only very slightly lower in quality: manila peninsula, mandarin oriental, and intercontinental.

since price is not an issue for me (my clients pay), i'll stick with the shangrila.

just had my monthly trip to Manila. did the normal Burgos nights... spent some time texting old g/fs..then got a text from a new person who said she was a friend of a freind and could we meet. If you are looking for another girl to do a 3-some with you and your GF, the best bet is go to a massage parlor, and arrange a tryst after she is off work. MP girls are the best bets for 3-somes because they are used to it.

I would say try the Skyline Health Club at the 8th Flr of Grand Boulevard Hotel, along Roxas Blvd in Manila. Ask the receptionist if they will allow a 3-some with an MP girl and your GF w/ you in their room. BTW, at Skyline, you can get up to 4-girls w/ you at the same time. Aside from the room/session fee, expect to tip between P1500-P2000 for the extra services.

I used to stay at Manila Peninsula for several times (maybe some 30/40 times) this place is something really different form any other palce on world I've seen and lived so far, when the doorman open car's door saying "welcome back home Mr. XX" it gives a real special feeling, (expect it after the third time you come..) beside that I can confirm that its a GF place as long as you hold a low profile (just enter lobby and turn right or left - according to the wing where your room is) gret deal at asiatravel.com (as everywhere mentioned) - reg. asiatravel I may mention that I forward them my CC details and from that on I organized my holidays by phone with them, incl. Hotels out of Manila, flights ecc..real fine travel agency.

I am a chinese from Hong Kong, I've lived 7 times in Inter-con and just one in Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-la Makati is the most higher rates but of course the better one. So you know which one I prefer? Just 1 minute on foot to go all shopping malls and I think the same distance to go burgos st. Girls friendly or not depands on yourself. Money ha!

Makati Shangrila is one fo the nicest hotel in Makati. You may want to try Manila Peninsula across the street but its a hazzle to cross the street to get to Glorietta.

Manila Hotel is also very nice but that's along Roxas Blvd.
