This FR is overdue, I was in Makati around 3 weeks ago.

The safest way to avoid STI is to stay home. The next best is to pack your own condoms from home and use them always (inspite of what the girls will say).

Stay in a nice hotel that you can get for that budget in Makati. For a first timer I would not suggest AirBNB as you need to additional help of a hotel for concierge, questions etc All Ph hotels are girl friendly.
