I've visited Manila 3 x to 4 x a year for the past 10 or 12 years. I've had a few problems. Maybe 1% of my "dates".

I'm pretty sure I treat the girl very well, but let's be realistic not every girl that we meet are mentally balanced, and that's a potential issue if a nutjob passes your screening process.

In no particular order I can remember a ladyboy from Tinder that omitted to mention being a LB and not handling rejection too well. He / she threatened that her uncle or whatever worked in the Police or border police and would make my life miserable. Despite my solid experience the level of hysteria made the situation a bit hard to handled. Add in endemic corruption and it would be extremely easy for any girl to get accurate contact details from hotel, transport etc personnel if she wanted.

I keep a second travel phone with it's own contact apps etc and I'm careful that it doesn't cross pollinate my regular home phone and accounts. I certainly don't want difficult to explain messages or friend requests appearing on my civilian FB account for example. This is more for my civilian life's benefit than the girls'.

I tend to treat girls half decently and make it clear that I never send cash while we are not face to face. For these reasons they have an incentive to keep me on side rather than try for extorsion etc.

I am not concerned either. In 30 years of mongering I have never had a problem with girls knowing my name. Hell, I exchange Line & Viber ID's with the girls I like even after a first night.
