I work in a high stress job where I deal with many people. Many of them are not receptive to my help despite their situation and this would frustrate me immensely. I used to think why can't I get through to them.

One day someone said something profound to me. Just try to help one person each day and if you've done that you have done your job. He also said if you can make just one person happy each day or do one good deed to another person each day then you are a good person. You may not be able to change the world but you can change someone else's life.

I guess its all about perspective.

And mine is fuck these crazy ass people!

What is up with that weird shit? My exgirlfriend works at a massage shop in AC. Last time the hotel that I always stay in, and that she has been to plenty of times before after work, did not want to let her in when she had on her work clothes.

I think its just in the places that have their own massage staff.

OP did say City Garden near Burgos St. And I recall there is or was a hotel of that name in that area, as well as the City Garden Grande.

CGS was certainly girl friendly up to and including my last stay there in November, but as DG says, they have a lot of wedding reception / college reunion type stuff.

I have met mongerers there but I suspect most use cheaper options for that neighbourhood.

They EXPECT you to take a girl up. The only way you would attract attention is if you DIDN'T take a girl.

This is true. In Angeles City before you go out, the receptionists even wish you good luck finding a girl.

Are there any places in Manila with good looking girls that have rooms on site? I'm staying at City Garden which is right next to Burgos so I should probably just bring the girl back here but I'm a bit precious about the hotel staff and the other people in the lobby. CGG seems to always have people milling about the lobby and they have the slowest lifts that make you wait ages for them!
All I've heard about from reading is Amazonia, which appears to be closed now?

I have stayed at City Garden before. I did not bring a girl to my room. How ever having had brunch and dinner I could see most of the guests were Filipinos. Older couples and families. I would not say this is a monger hotel though it may be girl friendly.

The restaurant food was very good.
