Engine driver must have woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. To me GE is one of the most knowledgeable persons we have on this board. He is articulate and has many years of boots on the ground in Phil. He is not a 24 x7 sex machine because he has found someone he wants as a long term partner so that's not a problem is it? ED is certainly entitled to his opinion, but I value GE's opinions and look forward to reading any posts he sends our way. Please no war of words. Just my opinion expressed here as well.

Your constant defence of Filipinas and Philippines won't work as you're pitching to the wrong audience. This site is for horny mongers to exchange information on how they can find and fuck Filipina prostitutes on the cheap. It's called increasing their root conversion factor (RCF) hahaha.
All the generalizations that mongers make are correct as they apply to the prostitute class which is poor, uneducated and with little chance of getting out of the slums. The women in this category are all scammers, liars and cheats as that's how they can survive. They are all as dumb as fuck in terms of worldly knowledge. Mongers need to enter knowing these facts so that they don't get scammed. Every monger is viewed as a fat, rich whale ready for the slaughter.
This is no different to the top end of town as the rich in the Philippines are also scammers, liars and cheats. The Philippines did not get its deserved reputation as one of the most corrupt countries on the planet due to the honest and ethical behavior of the educated, political and entrepreneurial classes. The very circle you claim to mix in also has no morals. I would say these people are worse human beings as they actually have choices in life.
Your socialist leanings and admiration of Obama are well documented on this site. Let mongers get on with fucking hookers without trying to turn us all woke.

I have also lived in the PI and come across a wide range of IQs. Every country has its own distribution of IQ. The thing is the Philippines' average IQ is at least 10 points lower than most Western countries and more than 15 points below Japan, Korea etc. What we see in the Philippines is largely a result of that. When you're slipping below 80, it gets harder to run even a hot dog stand well, below 70 you cannot always even serve that hot dog properly to the buyer. With an average IQ a bit below 90 (or whatever it is now) Philippines will have an ample supply of below 80/70's.
Nothing wrong with that, but it will show in how the society works. This said I think the Filipinos are masters of working with whatever resources they have. And as for street smarts, most will win out over most westerners any day of the week.

You are not running off to do business in PI the same way you would do in UK. To say that the critical thinking skills in Germany are the same as those in PI would be plain dumb. What Fortune 500 company is running over to PI getting them to engineer products and processes? None.
But there are companies running over there with tasks they are good at: telling them to follow this step by step. Just make a call to one of the call centers with a problem that is not in that book. They will either transfer you to a person in your country or you will be SOL.
Since March I have been trying to get money or credit for back from Hotelsdotcom because of a covid cancelation. The call center is in PI and for 9 months everytime I call I have been told to wait 48 hours or wait 7 more days and I will be contacted. Nobody has contacted me yet. LOL.

Posts: 76I'll play Devil's advocate here. Yes, there's probably a trend towards exaggerating how consistently stereotypes apply across individuals. And I agree that statements to the effect that all Filipinas want or do or think X are wrong. If anyone says something like that, go ahead and call them out. But is that actually happening? Mostly people on this board are just sharing their thoughts and theories on patterns they have noticed within the specific group of people they have met in a specific area in a specific context (e. G. , bargirls in Angeles).
I think it's perfectly fine to propose ideas like "Americans are getting fatter", "Filipinos are largely uneducated," or "women prefer people-oriented jobs" and assume your reader is intelligent enough and cooperative enough to figure out what you mean. In other words, that there seems to be a pattern. We can then discuss whether its true and how broadly it applies. But if you are misreading that as a blanket statement about all people when that wasn't explicitly stated, then maybe you're the one with the problem (I. E. , lack of cooperativeness).
Do you really want board members to stick to bland statements that won't offend anyone, and end with pointless disclaimers like "Disclaimer: the opinions above are just my opinions. I could be wrong. I didn't not mean to offend. They are based on my experience. I have not met all Filipinos nor have I travelled to all parts of the country. When I say that I think there's a pattern, I don't mean that it applies to all individuals. I recognize that people differ and there are exceptions. ".

Posts: 248Most profound quote ever in the history of this board? Possibly. Either way, I can't wait to get to Burgos, Angeles, and perhaps retire in the country. The charm lies in the details here.
