Earlier reports from me and others about the expiration of p4 p at Harrison Place Mall may have been premature. I was there Saturday about 6 pm accompanied by my main squeeze and two others. It's about time I did another field report, finally nearly free after a monumental cock-up using PL. I ended up trapped for a while, but I'm nearly free again.

So, a field report for my 9 days in the Philippines, I spent a couple of days visiting friends in Rizal province, then came to Malate, I had 3 nights booked in the AG New World hotel, Malate, and then 3 nights in the Holiday Inn, Makati.

Yes, I think the Manila-Olangapo bus is P250, plus P12 for the jeepney to Barretto. The Southern Cross shuttle is about twice that much but worth it to me -- just get on and relax and they drop you off right at your hotel.
