Hey guys,

So my first trip to Philippines is coming up, yay! Posted something in the Hotel section on where to stay. But more in general about Manila a couple questions. Partly to doublecheck if I did my homework right LOL.

For our hobby, the hotspots are La Cafe and P Burgos? But for picking up random "regular" girls that may stay with you, whether it be on the street or through a dating app. It obviously doesn't really matter where you stay I suppose.

For the dating apps, as far as I understand there is not much point in pre-registering from home, just start it making contact once you're there? For Thailand I usually get in touch with a couple a few weeks before I have my trip.

I do have a couple weeks in total, so I do plan to head out to Palawan, Port Barton, El Nido, later go into Cebu or something not sure yet. I'll figure that out when I get there. But how long would you recommend staying in Manila the first couple days? It may affect what place I'll pick to stay at in Manila.

And yes. If I find the right girl I may take here along to one of those places for a couple days!

And if someone is around in Manila in 2-3 weeks let me know, always easier to learn a new city over a drink haha.

Smoking has returned to Manila since Covid re-opening, including the Burgos bars and restos. Difficult to enjoy a meal indoors such as Cubana Cafe. Spend more than 30 minutes inside any bar now and you will "smell like a bar". Welcome back Sammon!

I was there on a recent Saturday evening about 10-11 pm, the place was full upstairs and down. Fortunately / unfortunately, there were plenty of ladies of all ages and body types. You are both correct, although the risk never really goes to zero (even if you use condoms). There has been a dramatic increase in HIV in the Philippines the last few years, but it is mostly gay and transgender men. Nevertheless, there is an increased risk. And, PrEP is very effective if taken before sex and continued afterwards (the exact duration after sex seems to be controversial, with recommendations ranging from a two days after the last exposure to a month).

1. Download and install the app on your phone.

2. Enroll, usually it needs your credit card info but there is no charge.

3. In Asian countries you can request a ride and it will show how much money.

4. If you are going to order for the girl put her address as pick up spot and your address as drop off.

5. The ride will pick her up and you can track the vehicle on the app.

You may have confused the type of pickup Grab is used for. Grab is a car booking service, you can book remotely and have them "pick up" a girl from where she is staying and bring her to where you are staying.

It is not an app for meeting girls, but with its increased market share, that may be available one day.

Don't even read the profile, it doesn't matter. They don't read yours. Get to WhatsApp quick. Started one month before contacting girls but all meetups were within 0-2 days onsite.

A good report. You did well, especially for someone new to the area. By all means, return and try bars, night clubs etc but honestly you may find them a let down if you have cracked the code for part timers who are happy to give GFE.
