In Thailand its well known that the girls are working to support their families and sending the money they earn back home. I'd much rather have my money going back home than into the pockets of a pimp.

Same for me with the 2 hotel groups I use a lot.

Can usually get better prices direct as a frequent user compared to the online sites but I still use at times. If only to compare process with the direct option.

Direct booking does give the widest choice though as the online aggregators are often only given an allotment of rooms with the remainder retained by the hotel to be sold by them through their sales department when online options are showing 'sold out'.

Difficult for a Canadian not resident in the USA to open bank account there.

I tried, not Schwab but many banks in Kansas City. Only place I could open a US account was in Grand Forks ND. I needed it because my US employer in Afghanistan would only make deposits directly to a US account.

Try opening a TD beyond checking account (you don't need to be US resident) and IIRC they also don't charge an ATM fee.

It was on Expedia and over a weekend a week and a half from now. I know that the Nana hotel on Bangkok can sell out over the weekend but never heard of an entire area of Makati.

It's a big city so I doubt it can be booked solid.

Yes I'm starting on the low side offering 2 k to 3 k and I'm getting shot down pretty quickly. But it's just fishing, not every cast will hook a fish. The lastest shot down my offer and then within seconds was trying to negotiate her deal on her terms. I quickly said sorry, I take the first answer given. I've got no problem spending more, I do have a problem offering a high amount to a photo or two.

I do not like discussing price with dating site girls unless they ask first. IMHO those who discuss the price are not really interested in being with you. They are trying to find out if you are a big spender or if they can make make quick big bucks if they decide. I do not want such girls. I look for somebody who is really interested in staying with me. Sexwise I only find out in bed if she is good or not.

One pretty girl quoted 10000 pesos per day who had no real interest in staying with me. There are many girls in dating sites who are there not really looking for a mate or looking for meeting foreigners to make money. Some play games just as we are playing games with them. In spite agreed price, date etc when crunch time comes they back out.

WR is correct. 3 k is the standard LT rate for any online girl who isn't a Princess.

If you are in town and can't get laid for that amount, give up and join a monastery. 😁 Until then, get numbers online but don't worry about rates or dates to meet. That's done upon arrival.

I do get the impression that there are loads of scammers on pinalove. Get a WhatsApp number from a girl and it's the number from one that asked for load for her cell phone so she could video chat. Then another who comes out and says 8000 for an hour, later I see her photos on smooci and she's an independent asking 8000 for two hours. Correct me if I'm wrong but the GoGo girls are wanting 4 k or so for the night. And I get to meet them in person. Why would I pay more for a girl with photos?

I was quoted $100 USD (about 5000 PHP) on Locanoto. The US $ is the first sign as that is not the currency of the Philippines. I would expect to get 5 good bonks there for that. But that is capitalism for you. They smell easy money. Why pay hookers and bell boys over the odds and not durian squeezers and so on? In hotels, those on the breakfast shift get small tips but toothless Pinay hookers think it is it Klondyke without the frost bite. Yet foolk marry them.
