This is the continuation of my posts in the Angeles section.

Over the next seven days, I gain experience visiting hospitals in the Manila area. In all hospitals I went to, it is possible to ask for a doctor referral at the information desk and see a doctor the same day. 500P seems to be a standard consultation fee. Most of the expense is from laboratory fees, ER fees, and medications. Near the LRT / metrorail station at UN ave on Taft, there are two major hospitals that are a bit run-down. The Manila Medical Center is just east and the Manila Doctors Hospital is just west. My lab tests at the latter place all turn out negative, so a week later, I go to the much more modern-looking Asian Hospital by the Metropolis mall in Alabang where I pay about 10000P for a more extensive suite of lab tests. To reach this hospital, it is possible to take the south-bound bus on Taft Ave, which goes along Quirino, Osmena Hwy, and finally the expressway. This bus takes over an hour. From Ayala Ave in Makati, the bus only takes 20 minutes because it’s near the expressway. Taxis are no faster because travel time is determined by traffic conditions. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a bus anywhere in Manila.

I spend my free time dating girls I met online. Three of them in all, and the meetings are set up with relatively little effort. I basically went to meet the first three girls who agreed to do so. I had invested some time accumulating contacts before coming here, which was a bit tedious because I don’t have any patience for maintaining online or long-distance relationships.

The first girl is 25 and living alone in Makati. She’s a student and apparently doesn’t work. I’ve never gone on a date a girl this classy and beautiful. She’s not the tall, fair-skinned model type, but more attractive in my opinion. We meet near the Havana Cafe in Greenbelt at 8:30pm on Friday. We walk from place to place, including Temples, where the models, actresses, and MTV crews hang out. We part on cold terms. She says “nice to meet you”, but may have meant “I wish I hadn’t met you”. Later, when I text her, suggesting I may have been her worst date, she replies “UR NT WORST”.

Seven years ago, I wrote a letter to a girl in Cavite. She replied four years after receiving my letter and gave me two phone numbers. On Sunday, I text both numbers and immediately receive a reply. The same evening, we go out to dinner. She’s 25 now and still single.

Monday evening, I chat with a girl from the Batangas province. We agree that I’ll stop by her internet cafe the next day. On Tuesday, I take a two hour bus there from Manila. The day before, she had told me to text her from the church and she would come to pick me up. Instead, I don’t text her at all and decide to surprise her by showing up at her shop unannounced.

It’s a tiny store, but crowded, so I text her and wait for her to come out. She doesn’t. I’m told by her sister that she’s not there. This must be her 16 year old sister, I muse. She’s extremely good-looking, suggesting that her sister must be, too. But she tells me they are identical twins and both 24.

I call the girl on her cell, but it seems to be turned off. The twin sister cannot tell me where her sister went or when she will come back. A guy in the store keeps asking me how long I intend to wait for her. I say I want to see the identical twins next to each other because I find it so hard to believe. After nearly an hour of waiting around in the store, the twin sister decides to take a bath. She comes out seconds later with her hair wet. Did she just wash her hair that quickly? No, she’s followed by another one of her with dry hair. Turns out the girl never expected me to show up because we were just chatmates, and she was afraid to face me because she had a fake picture in her profile. The tall, fair-skinned model type depicted in the photo is not her, no surprise there. I spend most of the day observing their day-to-day life at the store.

I work on setting up second dates with all three girls with varying degrees of effort. I meet the first girl a second time, but I suggest we go home after a while because she just isn’t interested anymore. The girl with the twin sister seems much more interested in me, but eventually I conclude that she’s more interested in pursuing virtual online relationships than real ones. I suppose the fact that she has free access to the internet makes her an unwise pick.

I spend some time looking for domestic tickets. The agencies charge slightly more than the airline offices themselves. PAL seems to charge more than Cebu Pacific. I didn’t find any advance purchase discounts and pricing seems rigid, regardless on what day you travel. Either the promo rate is available or it is not. I found the best fares at the Cebu Pacific office at the Robinson’s mall in Ermita.

My posts are intended to describe the learning experiences of someone with minimal mongering experience.

My adventure begins when I exit the international airport. I travel light, so I refuse the taxis and walk left. A guards asks where I'm going, and I reply "Casino Filipino" and he points me down the street. Most of the jeepneys there have signs saying Baclaran, and when I hop inside one, everyone politely ignores my existence. I quietly murmur "bayad ho", and hands are immediately extended and my 100P bill is passed from person to person to the driver. The change comes back the same way, 94.5P. Fares are posted in the jeepney (0-4km 5.5P and 1P for each additional km).

The people inside are helpful and a woman tells me which jeepney I need to take to get to Ermita. In Baclaran, take a jeepney marked Mabini. There’ll be others signs such as Dapitan, Quiapo, Harrison Plaza, or Divisoria which are also on the route. I get off at Salas St and walk to the Ermita Tourist Inn. The rooms are much better than I expected. The water is hot, water pressure is good, toilet and A/C works, and the room is very clean and tiled. The rooms gets cold quickly because it’s so small. The price is 660P, which includes a breakfast. I was expecting to pay 1200P for this type of room.

By the time I shower, it’s raining, but LA Cafe is a 2 minute walk away. It is 7pm and I am surprised by the quality of the girls. Quality seems slightly better than what I see in the malls, the jeepneys, or at the airport. When I first step in, someone wants to introduce me to her sexy friend. Very sexy and cute indeed, but I say I want to take my time, and I am left alone. I stand around 10 minutes before being asked to buy a drink. Several girls approach me, but I am not sure what to look for as I have no baseline or frame of reference to work with.

Thinking that any experience is good experience, I play along with the third girl who approaches me. This girl, 19, calls herself Cacai and proves to be what is probably the epitome of the hardened pro that I have so often read about in this forum. She is small, slim, and fun. She was fairly direct in suggesting that she wants to fuck, be paid, and be gone. She smokes, drinks, and has several injuries from a bar fight with a another girl.

We go to have dinner and she orders too much, but I make sure not to walk into a high-end place. There are no posted prices, but the bill comes to a surprisingly low 300P. She asks to bag the extra food and donates it to the homeless on the street.

In the bedroom, she’s in a hurry to get the deed over quickly. She is skilled and uses her tongue in all the right genital areas, but rushed and mechanical. We use my condoms, and I wouldn’t trust someone else’s. It’s all over in about 10 minutes. I give her more than I think it was worth, 500P, and predictably she wants at least 1000P. I tell her I know the prices, and I’ll be happy to argue with her all night. She argues for 15 minutes, trying to get at least 100-200P more. Suddenly, she says okay and leaves.

I fall asleep and wake up before 3am. I sneak past the security guard who’s asleep. I see Amazonia (open 24h) and Harry’s Bar (dead at this time of the day) down the street, but choose to go back into LA Cafe. The second level is open and alive. This time I fend off the hardened pros who approach me. Then Rose approaches me and we spend the next 5-6 hours together. She is average looking, but attractive. She leads and keeps going the conversation, so there’s no conversational skill required on my part. She says she’s a singer of a band that performs in LA Cafe each Friday. She’s the only girl in the band and she’s waiting for the guys who are out partying. They have the van and will bring her home. She says she doesn’t like the foreigners who approach her and assume she is like the other girls. The other girls will say “I love you” when they’ve just met you. (In the case of Cacai, she’s right, she did say that to me.) She doesn’t smoke, drink, and is a nursing student. She keeps asking me if I want her to leave me alone.

I ask her about the stamp on her wrist. She says girls must pay 100P to go upstairs until 3am. But the other band members have gone downstairs, so she’s here alone. The other band members never show up and at 8:20am I return to my room. I return to the bar at 8:40am, but she is not where she said she’d be waiting. I had asked her why she doesn’t just go home instead of waiting all night, and she says she can’t afford it. The only money I spend on her is 20P for a round of pool. She gives me her cell number, but doesn’t reply when I text her after buying a cell phone.

Spent a few days in Manila.

To my delight quite a healthy scene is developing around the M.H. Del
Pilar, Padre Faura, Mabini St. area in Ermita/Malate. Several little
bars have opened in the past few months, possibly encouraged by L.A.
Cafe's success.


Have been waved into one while heading to LA. Tiny bar with about 5
friendly girls. All single mothers but reasonable looking, 18-22 years and eager to please. Rate P1500 Long Time. This is total cost, including BF plus girl's fee. No more to pay. Medically supervised, they say.

You pay upfront. Didn't buy them drinks but had a little chat. Moved on to
LA later on but it would be worth going back one day. Simply because
they are not freelancers and their particulars are kept on record at
the bar. Just in case. Bit wary to sleep with a freelancer in Manila.


At the LA. now there are Mamasans who look after many of the girls (not
sure if all). She introduced herself and sent around several reasonable lookers. All very friendly but not up to Angeles standards in looks. Rates seem to have stabilised at P1500 overnight in this area which is a good sign.

1200 goes to the girl and 300 to mamasan. You pay AFTER. I think that the
'nicer' girls don't do ST. The crappier ones might. As usual the nicer
Filippinas would rather be your 'friend' than just simply fuck. The
waitresses also seem quite approachable and keen to set up after-hours
dates. Some finish at midnight, some at 1am, etc.


Saw one very beautiful Filipina on two consecutive nights upstairs.
Perfect model looks, very tall. She wasn't too keen to make contact
like the others and left both nights alone. All the other girls were
average in looks or below, certainly not up to Angeles standards.


By the way the cigarette smoke upstairs is a killer at LA. Makes your
eyes and lungs burn after an hour or so. Hopefully they will soon
follow the example of Makati bars where designated smoking and NS
areas are set.


Although occupancy is up I think that the quality has taken a dive at
LA. compared to one year ago. The music also sucks. There must be
better bands in town that play something danceable.


About Robinson's Shopping Centre:
Although there were some girls keen to make eyecontact and one
(ladyboy looking) even waved but the scene sucks. There simply aren't
enough foreigners there to attract the girls. Went there a couple of
nights for shopping and saw a total of about 3-5 foreigners per night. Also, it's not a nice place to meet. The locals would resent it if that became a
pickup place. It's simply uncomfortable to initiate conversations there
in the midst of shoppers as compared to the relaxed atmosphere of a
bar.


All in all, keep looking as it seems that something nice is starting in
Ermita and prices are about to stabilise at P1500 L/T which is a reasonable
figure. But considering the number of shanti-towns in that city and how
many beautiful girls may live there, even P500/pop would be a
realistic figure in the future (couple of days wages of a factory worker).

Hotels:
About which hotel is 'girl friendly'? It would be easier to count those
which aren't. As most of them in this area (Ermita/Malate) are. Practically everywhere you pay for double occupancy and two breakfasts anyway. Some places may simply add 1 or 200 pesos to your bill for double but wouldn't make a fuss. The Philippinos themselves are indeed very promiscous so they don't normally make a big issue of this.

Well, I've been here two weeks now so it's about time for an update. I'll give a quick run down of a list of the best bars and some general observations.

I've been coming to the Philippines for several years and I don't think the quality of the girls has ever been better. For some reason, there appears to be fewer customers in the bars, but as many or more women than in the past. Many of the bars are packed with girls, with only two or three customers in the place, even late at night. My rating of the bars are:

1) Firehouse. This place still has the best meat in town. A typical night has 30 to 40 girls and 5 or 6 customers. Why the best and most well known bar has only 5 customers is a great mystery to me. I'm there at least a couple of times a week. Always at least a couple of hotties here, and I have yet to find a taxi driver who doesn't know the place. You can tell them EDSA entertainment complex, or Edsa extension at Roxas and they sometimes give you a puzzed look, but as soon as you say the Firehouse, they say "ah, the firehouse. Ok". Bar fine is still only a 1,000 Pesos, and the girls generally want 2,000 for a short time (a couple of hours) and 3,000 for all night, but will accept about 500 pesos less. My only compaint is the 17 year old virgins that them mamasans try to sell for 50,000. I know business is slow, but do they really have to stoop that low?

2) Visions nightclub on Roxas. This is one of the best kept secrets of the Manila bar scene. I've been there twice this trip and once last trip, and taken a girl from the bar every time. It is rare to find a bar with 100 sucess ratio. Usually about 30 girls in the place, but only a about 3 customers. The dutch owner has no problem finding a lot of cute girls, but can't seam to find any customers. Also, I find the girls here nicer then the other bars, and a much more relaxed atmosphere then say the firehouse. Bar fine is 1,000 Peso, and the girls will take pretty much whatever you give them.

3) The rest of the bars at the EDSA entertainment complex. While none is quite is good as the firehouse, I found some real hotties here. I've found My Fair Lady and Samba to be the best, and Pitstop and spacegirls to be the worst, but it varies. Cotton Club and Casino tend to be middle of the road.

4) P. Burgoss st bars. The bars here tend to be more expensive, and the woman of slightly lower quality then the Passay (EDSA, Roxas) bars. But there are so many bars here, with so many women, it can't be missed. Ladies drinks run 300 pesos and bar fine run 2 to 3 thousand. I've found the best bars to be Bottoms and Flamingo. Some of the bars are filled with some older and very agressive woman, and these should be avoided, but I never really kept notes on which ones they were. Bilboard is a unique bar. A lot of the women here are unavailable, but it has really upbeat, fun atmosphere with probably the best dancers in Makati. The Jools show is also very good, but set to appeal to the older set.

5) LA Cafe. The pickup bar that everyone either loves or hates. The word is seriously out about this place, as it is busier then it has ever been in the past. Forget about going there Saturday night as you will not be able to move or find a seat, even upstairs. The quality is generally pretty low, but you can find a real babe if you are lucky. About 95% are hags that return day in and day out, but you also have the 5% that show up for the first time because they heard it was a great place to meet a foreigner. A real cutie that I barfined in Angeles told me she lost her virginity a month ago to a guy she met in LA Cafe, and she wasn't going there as a ***** (but she soon became one).

Since I am "stuck" in Manila on business, I have only been able to make to Angeles for two nights, but what fun those nights they were! Angeles girls tend to be nicer and then Manila woman and much more eager to stay the entire night. They are much less expensive at 1,000 pesos all in, but are usually not as cute as the EDSA girls. However, you should have no problem finding a hottie to take home. Surprisingly, Saturday night is the best night in the Angeles bars as well as the Manila bars. I would have thought that there would be more competition from guys on a saturday night, but the number of customers stays stable every day, but apparently a lot more woman work on Saturdays. Saturday night in Angeles is just ridiculous. I had found 4 women that I bought drinks for thatrated at a 9, and I really coundn't decide which one to take home. The blue nile exectuve club had so many babes that I couldn't stand up due to the hard on I had. And I couldn't even see all of them as the stage was piled about 4 rows deep.

The best bars in Angeles are:

1) Blue nile executive club. A very classy layout that attracts the best girls in Angeles. The only problem is that it gets so packed, it is hard to find a seat.

2) Neros forum.

3) Las Vegas club

4) Bedrock. A small bar next to Neros forum, but in this trip as well as my last, had some of the cutest girls in town.

5) Blue nile.


Massage parlors

The best ones are still in Quezon, about a 35 minute drive from Ermita. I would rank Sylvanus, at the Pegasus club (every taxi driver knows it) as the best. Skyline at the Grand Boulevard is convenient if you don't want to go all the way to Quezon, but the girls there are not as cute.

I've never been to Manila.

I've spent some time in Thailand. I came to appreciate some of the older women (28 to 35) that can be found via agencies, or occasionally working free lance. Frequently they were semi-pros who worked a few days a month to make ends meet, pay for luxuries or put a sibling through school. Their day jobs were often clerical in nature.

What I'm not looking for are old, physically and mentally used up, pros who are fighting to hang on.

I'll be spending a few days in Manila early next year. Can anyone recommend a good place or agency to hook up with classy, older (28-35 years old) semi-pros?

Will, I finial visited Manila. I arrived at 10:40pm and found the drive there to pickup guest for the Swangman Hotel. I had booked a room there before I left the USA.

THere were two other riders i nthe van. THe Hotel is not much to speak of
room. It had A/C, mini bar and was clean. After I checked in and showered, I walked over to the LA cafe.

I have read alot about it on the forum. I had to see it.

I arried ther about 12:30 am, the place was packed. I walked arroundthe lower level and then went up stairs.
During my walk, I got several smile and ladies grabbing my arm. After about 15 mins of wandering thru the place I got a beer and started watching the girls play pool. I talked to several girls, but did not see anything I was interested in, so after about one hour I went back ot the hotel to get some rest. I got tired of all the stories the girls were telling me.

After a good rest, I showered and when to the 7 th floor Heath club at Grand hotel. Like in the previous post, it was 1220 php, fish bowl format. Pick a girl and paid the 1220 php. Massage was average at best, agree to 1500php for extras. first CBJ, it was ok. Then fucked several postions. Over all the experience as average.

I then went back to hotel and my ride was rther to go to AC. I like AC better.
Manila is ok But I am not sure if I will stay over any more.

I normally go from the airport to AC directly. After reading the forum, i thought I would stay one day in Manila and see want onther were talking about.

I will be back in the Phils in Feb and Mar, I I may check out EDSA on one of those trips.

I visited the EDSA complex last nite, my last nite in the PI. There were about a half dozen bars with lots of girls. The quality seemed as good as Makati, with lots of girls in the the 7 to 8 range. There were also a few knockouts. I thought Samba Bar had the best lookers. The bar fine at EDSA is P1000, regardless of short time or all nite. You negotiate with the girls for their price. They were quoting P2500 for short time, which they said is three hours, but would probably negotiate down to P2000. They wanted P3000 to P4000 for all nite. Some of the knockouts only did short time. One girl promised me all nite for P2000 but changed her tune after we arrived at my room. She then settled for P1500 for short time after I threatened to go to the mamasan. Later that nite I spoke to the complex's # 1 knockout about prices. She told me that if a girl from EDSA quotes P2000 for all nite, she is giving you BS and will make an excuse to leave early. My impression is that EDSA is a high quality place, but too expensive. I would be curious about other mongers' experiences there.

I was surprised to hear that you had to pay a fee to bring a lady into the Hyatt in Pasay. I have stayed there at least 4 different times this year, a total of about 20 nights, and I have never had any problem bringing a young thing in the front door and up to my room. The first time I stayed there, I came in late at night with a spinner from LA Cafe and I only had to tell the doorman that she was "with me" and they had her sign in the book at the door. I found through experience that you could get past this process easily enough if the girl you were with looked like she was a girl friend, and dressed appropriately for the hotel. The last two times I have stayed there, I have never been questioned about the girl I was bringing in, and I guess I just have that look on my face that they shouldn't ask my "girlfriend" to sign in. Anybody stay at the new Hyatt Casino yet?

arrived in manila after a 14 hour flight. it was 5:30 am, so i knew that it would have to be skyline at it was the only massage parlor open before 12:00, and i just couldn’t wait until noon. i know it was considered by many to be the best mp in town with over 100 girls working there, but i also read that there were only 2 or 3 girls to choose if you went early in the morning. because my fiancé was arriving the next day for a two day visit, bringing a girl back to the room was not an option – yet.

checked into the aim conference hotel and was pleasantly surprised. 1,700 p for a nice sized room, in the heart of makati, with free in-room high speed internet (although it isn’t working yet due to the weekend and holiday, i’m sure it will once their it guy comes in to configure my laptop). i’ve paid the same for a dump in ermita. book it through asia travel for the discounted rate. after a quick shower, i rolled a joint (forgot my papers at home, so i had to use a cigarette), and it was off to skyline at the grand boulevard hotel.

i was surprised at how nice the grand boulevard hotel was. since it housed one of the largest full service mp’s in manila, i was expecting a rather low end hotel, but it appeared to rate about 4 stars – quite grand indeed. various signs indicating all of the hotels amenities, including a casino, but nothing to indicate the mp on the eighth floor.

as the elevator door opens, you see a big sign for the “skyline health club”. i guess they thought “skyline brothel” would sound tacky. from my many previous trips i knew to ignore most signs in manila and this was no exception, although a visit would be good for my health, if nothing more than to lighten my load.

went to the fishbowl and the manager called all available girls to the “showroom”. typical asian style with glass panels and thin strips cut out of the dark tint so that you can see them, but they can only see your eyes. three girls arrived, all of them cute, but no stunners – about what i expected. i picked a girl with a very pretty face and it was off to the room. the skyline has the whole 8th floor, so you get to have your session in a regular hotel room, which i like. the room boy said i had an hour and 15 minutes – plenty of time as i am used to 30 minutes back in the us. it was 1,220 p for the room (about $22).

she gave a long massage during which time she wanted to know all about me. was i married, why not, did i have a girlfriend, etc etc – the typical line if questions i get from all girls in philippines regardless of where i meet them. we had plenty of time, and she was quite nice, so i indulged her and gave my typical bullshit story.

after about half an hour she wanted to know if wanted special services, and how much i wanted to pay. i told her 1,500, she countered, with 2,000, and seeing no reason to haggle over $10, i said ok. your typical multi-position session with a very good covered blow job – so good i couldn’t even tell i was wearing a rubber. after a good pounding, i blew my load, thanked her, and was on my way.

since it was only a short walk from skyline to mabini st., i decided to check out la café and the new bar i had heard so much about, amazonia. it was about 11:00, so a good time to have a couple of drinks, especially since i was not planning on any more girls today. not that i wasn’t interested, but with my fiancé arriving tomorrow, it may be hard to convince her that i hadn’t sex in a week if i had just had two girls the day before.

amazonia was the first of its type i had ever seen in ermita. i understand that ermita was filled with them before that crazy mayor lim cracked down on them in the 80’s, after which time the scene moved to passay. it was good to see that things might be returning back to normal. the bar was dark inside with apparently two types of girls – the waitresses with black skirts (called natives) and the take out girls dressed in school girl uniforms (called classmates). as was typical of bars catering to western tourists, the take out girls were all petite (i would guess their ages to be in the early twenties), as opposed to the taller women that filipino men prefer. the video screens played a show that i would describe as “how to pick up bar girls 101”. basic tagalog terms, such as “you are beautiful” and “can i buy you a drink”, as well as informative ads such as “isaya now has short time rooms for 300p”. lots of cute and friendly women, but i couldn’t let myself get tempted. there was also a dance floor as well a stage. since i was one of only two customers in the place, i was getting a lot of attention. there were about 5 classmates, quite a lot considering that it was not even noon. this is certainly a place that i will return to as it must really rock at night. much more friendly and relaxed then the passay bars – quite similar to angeles bars, but without the drive.

next it was off to my favorite manila bar, la café. i saw about 15 girls there, with one that really got my attention, but again, i couldn’t let myself get tempted. she kept smiling at me, but i did my best to ignore her, although i wasn’t doing a very good job at it. it was about 15 to 3, including me, so again i got lots of attention. as opposed to past trips, none of the girls actually approached me. it appeared that management now discourages girls approaching men un-invited, and i appreciated that. i much prefer having a few drinks and making my own decision instead of the constant barrage of girls coming up to me and trying to get drinks, although this may only apply in the mornings. unfortunately, this same policy doesn’t apply to waitresses so there was no shortage of “hi, where are you from”. this was ok however, as the bar also has a policy of not hiring any dogs.

the next stop was robinsons mall to get some rolling papers from the cigar store, buy a cell phone, and get some food. since i had only gotten about 6 hours of sleep in the past two days, i was exhausted, so i went back to the hotel and fell asleep. i awoke at 5:00 am, i guess they call it jet lag, and wrote this day one report. i decided to write a thorough day one report because considering my very busy schedule for the rest of my trip (i am here on business), i may not have any time for future reports (and if i don’t, the abbreviated version will be girls, girls, more girls, and then some more girls)

Well I promised I would write my first report when I got back so here goes.

Week one was spent in Manila, never had the inclination to make the trip to Angeles. First three nights was spent in Heritage hotel next to EDSA, booked through asiatravel.com for $60 a night. This is a nice hotel but other than that the only thing going for the location is it being next to the EDSA complex. Makati is a much better area of town and is handy for Burgos Street, and when taxis are so cheap it’s not a big effort getting to and from EDSA. However, and not knowing before hand but there is a casino attached to the Heritage so if you want a spot of gambling in the afternoon it is very handy; VERY favorable rules for black jack with free sweets and water.

Night one was spent in LA cafe, nice place to chill and have a few beers, though I never thought much of the food after waiting for 45 minutes. Lots of freelancers and only one caught my eye so me and a friend went upstairs and I paid the 100 peso entrance for my guest. After a quick look around I quickly wished I hadn’t, much better talent although only one or two I would have bar fined straight away. Got a nice seat next to the place where the girls dance, hot girl dancing in short denim skirt with g-string, damn I wished I had brought my camera. Pure logic,

When on the main page of Manilatonight.com go down and find the section labeled "AQUARIUM".
