Don't do it. I'm in manila now and just out of curiosity tried one from craigslist. The girls of picture are right, but they are not same if you see them in real. PHOTOSHOP.

The girls have smarted up now days as they know guys will ask if the picture is theirs and send more picture or facebook account etc. So these girls are just Photo shopping even more.

You will see these girls in Greenbelt, dating sites anyways with much lower rate, the above girl was for 4000 LOL. She came to my place. I got her down for 2000. She was very weak physically, heavy heavy make up aka zombie to look like her Photoshopped image. I felt really sad for her having to come down and faking it with heavy make up. At 1 AM. Sent her back home with 600 Pesos. Taxi fare + some food. I wouldn't have done her for free. She was really that zombie like.

We ended up going two doors down to an apartment hotel that seemed quite new and clean. I am not talking about Amazonia, across the street and down the road. This one was actually on the same side of Del Pilar as MBC and only a few steps away from MBC. Very convenient. I think the 4 hour rate was around 500 but not sure.

Its a lot easier for guys paying for chicks to take pics. Ie They can set the terms, sex is transnational, etc. I will be dealing with normal girls I meet online, at the bar / club, or at the mall. All the girs get from me is a cheap lunch / dinner, a few beers, a movie, and taxi money.

If a 'regular' girl is into you enough to go with her she's going to have no problem getting 'regular' pics. You should be able to get nice shots if you go out together. This is an urban myth.

It pops up every year or so as a story. Police have already derided it as a joke. I first was warned about it in 1996 when I came here on a 3 month work assignment, and I have seen it come up on slow news days every year since 1997 when I moved to Manila.

It might be effective if the driver stops his car and physically assaults or robs the victim by putting a towel over her nose and mouth, but any air-borne anaesthetic cannot be administered in sufficient concentrations in a taxi cab without the passenger being (a) very aware of it and (be) without the driver being seriously affected too unless he wears a full-face gas mask (which might cause a passenger to become suspicious.

Funny how it always happens to young women; never baklas (gays) , men etc.

As with the internet: never blindly repeat newspaper stories or stories where someone said that someone else told someone about something (see BB's reference above (. My friend from Davao mentioned her cousin.)

lets remember who you are talking to bb. home-grown pinoy. see dragonslayer's post below about pinoy thinking they've been witnessing 'evil spirits' on rooftops. they suspend belief sometimes when a leaf falls off a tree. grain of salt.

people here are terrified! first criminals, murderers, [CodeWord127], etc escaped from the prison during the typhoon. police are searching for them but reports of breakins and robberies have been reported. and the people all claim to see "evil spirits" at night on the rooptops of buildings. the men and some women stay awake outside camping out at night. they build fires and watch for this "spirit" which is very fast, can climb and jump far and looks like a chimpanzee but very dark.

i got into trouble by telling her there was no evil spirit. she claims to have seen it one night on top of a neighbor's roof, along with many other people. i think the blackout and darkness have risen to the point of hysteria among the people. i had to send her money for a battery operated lantern and about 20 large candles which she burns nightly to look around and watch for the ghos or whatever.

FYI, my friend has a B. S. Degree from one of the top universities in the Philippines. She has worked at a few call centers for the last couple of years. Fortunately for me her oral skills are much better than her writing skills.

I know guys who got burned posting pictures on advanced "verified" sites. There is no escaping that small percentage of little internet pencil dicks that think they will be rewarded for snitching on a brother. It's pathetic. I don't like obscuring faces though. It defeats the purpose of posting pictures. One solution, although not fool proof, is to post pics, but not divulge the name of the bar or the girl's name. This method decreases the odds of a match up, but does not eliminate it. Outing all pencil dicks and permanent expulsion from the forum should be the minimum penalty these guys should have to pay.

As to giving out a girls name or number; I never do that. Everybody able bodied male should be able to find his own girl given the amount of information available on this forum. The forum gives members the best bars, nightclubs, saunas, massage parlor and general FL recommendations along with current pricing and ways these venues operate. What more do you need? Besides a girl I find great may not be right for someone else. So I don't give out or ask for personal details about specific girls. The one exception is massage parlors. If a parlor has a really great porn star beauty, I'll pass that information along to the board. In this case the girl is under the protection of the massage parlor and she wants the business anyway so I don't see much potential harm there.

Yep and it would happen a whole lot more if some of the envious muthers out there were able to identify the girls more often. Why do you think WC1, AR and myself take steps to blur facial features and identifying marks. But realistically, this usually happens only when you are free with the contact details of a girl whose pics you have posted. I learned my lesson long ago on this score, and will now only share details with a few trusted senior members.
