I would go as far as to say don't ever send money even if you have met a girl. If you just need to feel warm and fuzzy then ok. But in all these years I have been no worse off because I did not send money; whether it has been normal girlfriend or hooker. If a chick gets angry or does not talk to you anymore because you did not send money, then you know why she was there in the first place; and it was not for your good looks, charm, or sharp wit.

I am new to the forum and would like to ask a question. I have been talking to a girl for several months and I would really like to bring her to the US if our first meeting in the Philippines goes well. She lives in San Antonio, Zambales Philippines and she suggested that we meet in Angeles City which is about a 1 1/2 hour bus ride for her. If things go well we can then go to Manila. I plan on spending 14 days in the Philippines.

Any advice on what to watch out for when meeting for the first time?

This is my first time to the Philippines and I want to make the most out of my time in the country.

The way I see it, you need to ask yourself this question:

How serious are you in finding your soulmate in another country?

Because if you are very serious, 2 weeks is not enough, even 3 months in Philippines won't be enough, I would say you will need to live with her for at least 6 months to really know her and to start thinking of bringing her to your country.

In fact don't even step in Angeles City if you are looking for a serious woman, either she is a goldigger if she is the one insisting to meet you there or if you are the one insisting you will look bad on her eyes if you ever meet her there, and she will see you as those losers who pay for sex (not offense to anyone here, but that's how good girls see people who go to Angeles City and pay for sex), you don't want to marry a girl who sees you that way so don't hangout in those places.

That's the reason I never step my foot in Angeles City, you will never find good girls there, maybe there are afew, but is like winning the lotto 1 in a million.

Another question you should ask yourself, age difference, if she is 30+ years younger than you forget it!

Go find someone older and closer to your age, less than 20 yrs difference is fine in Philippines.

If I was you I will take my time, visit Philippines many times and only meet normal girls not pros or semi pros, not girls that are expecting money in return, just pay for the date, and if she wants to pay even better.

If you still want to insist in meeting her, then meet her in Manila, if she is very interested in you she will go meet you there, if she don't then you know she doesn't care about you. And make sure to tell her that you are not looking to bringing her to your country until you know her very well, just don't even mention that subject of bringing her to your country.

Like I said you need to make afew trips, and videocam her everyday, know her family, her friends, places she hangout, Goferring gave you good ideas on cues you should look for.

I'm telling you all this from personal experience, and everything I'm telling you is exactly what I'm doing, and finally I met a good girl who I have great chemistry with, I spent 8 months living with her during covid, and trust me 8 months seeing eachother everyday during lockdown is like having a 2-3 years relationship back home. I already know she is a good girl with good intentions, but I'm still deciding if I want to end my single life, I will go back to Philippines at the end of this year for another 3-4 months there, hopefully Covid is gone by that time and I will get to do island hopping with her and spend more time before I can finally make my decision.

Bali is possibly the worst place in Indonesia for mongering. The influx of cashed up short time tourists leads to girls that come from elsewhere just to rack up as much money ASAP. Very hardened and not service focused at all. Jakarta is much better if you want foreigner friendly. You seem to like the less developed places too so try Bandung, Jogjakarta or Surabaya. Sulawesi has some gorgeous girls.

I agree with you, I been visiting Indonesia specially Jakarta for the past 8 years. It's heaven for foreigners. I only visit Jakarta and have mostly pre-planned bookings with my potential targets.

4 cebu (10 visit).

Really focus on the dating sites so many women also can meet at the mall some girlie go go.

Bars but a waste of time. Also they have some nice disco to go but be carefull of the lady boys.

It s easy to get around cebu the the air con taxi are very cheap for a western the dollars is ok here.

5 angeles city (15 visit).

If I was in my 30 or 40 it may be at the top of my list around 100 girlie go go bars you pick a girl on the stage.

Agree on the terms off you go 20 years ago good value now the price and gone up so much.

Also a lot of expats live in angles so whatever country you are from you can find someone from your country.

6 montego bay jamacia (6 visits).

Meet girls on line a couple of good clubs you can meet non pro girls also you can meet some girls at he beach.

Its close to the states so I never have jet lag can hit the ground running only place I don't drink beer the rum is.

Good and cheap I don't really like the beer red stripe also the dollars is very strong here hotels are over priced.

7 pattaya (2 visits).

So many bars and massage parlors like being a kid in a candy store the best value is soi 6 . in all my travels the best value for a nice cheap clean hotel is pattaya the only english the thai women know is shorttimes ehheheh the price of.

Enterainment is high for short time nice to see the girls in the bar dancing in the nude the dollars value not to good.

8 Bangkok (2 visit) it s ok for a short time to visit a lot of streetwalkers some nice girlie go go bars but to many lady.

Boys Nana plaza is ok and soi cowboy is ok dollars is very weak here.

9 manila (10 visit) if you like big crowded cities whit awful tracffic its the place for you.

Meet girls at the mall and online or go to la cafe a huge pickup place.

On my list of place to go is Bali and the unkraine and south africa.

She told me the nearest airport to her home is Clark and never told me she would meet me at the airport. In fact she has no idea where the bus from her town will drop her off when she meets me. She will go to the bus terminal to get information.

She does not have a passport and only has her college identification which is now expired.

As far as the $200 I gave her, big deal! She did not ask for the money I sent it to her. Guys in the US would pay much more than that to video chat with someone that looks like her. Fortunately I have a very successful career and even if she just a "dream," the pleasure of video chatting with her on a daily basis makes the $200 money well spent.

Hopefully, the Philippines will open shortly. I did speak with someone at the Philippines consulate in the US and I was told travel may open by March. I can only hope.

Viper, as some have said you're getting a lot of negative comments on this and I hope you understand that most of us here are just telling you what we have seen or done and sometimes wish someone would have told us. But to each his own and if this is the avenue you wish to pursue good luck.

One thing I want to ask is what time do you normally chat with this lady? The reason I ask is if she chats during your daytime that means that it's night time in the PI and if one were to check on those sites like Meet Me, Tagged, etc. You would see those are the busy hours for those young lady's to ply their trade. I've seen them do a complete time zone shift to sleep during the day and lurk at night online. Why is that? One told me the honest truth, Pinoy boys at home don't have the money to buy "gifts" from those sites, so they go where the money is. That means if she is talking to you during your daytime, she is up all night just chatting away where the money is. Just something to think about before going into this.

As others have said, slow it down, take a trip to the PI and just go to tour and then see the lady and make sure that this is something you really want. Not sure how old you are but back in the 80's Eddie Murphy did a comedy stand-up routine in of his earlier films where he was going to marry an African woman because they weren't going to be jaded like American women and once he got her back to the USA the American women taught her a very frightening word: "Half" so when she is ready to divorceafter he makes $100 million and she makes $110 at a store selling gifts she said "I want Half!" I'm sure that type of joke is not PC these days but you get the point. Don't get to the point where after 6 months this lady is going to want her "Half" from you.
