Here's one that caught my fancy on my second visit.

Re LAC, my last few times in 2 months ago jostled up good results. I had jetlag, and found myself wide awake 10 pm-11 am, so I'd go out around midnight (or considerably later), and waltzed thru LAC midnight-5 am range several nights. The place was packed nightly at that time, easily 150+ girls. You could find a dozen or so girls nightly that would probably be eye-candy to any man. The naysayers say the place has only 5's and 6's (there are plenty of those, too), but there is quite a range to please anyone. OTOH I also went in several times for late breakfast, 10 am-ish, and there were about a dozen older fuglies hanging around (some appeared to be on the verge of sleeping).

I then paid the bar tab and left. This was a nice little bar and has a lot going for it. The girls were prettier than the FLs at LAC, the drinks were cheap and the musician on guitar playing cover songs was very good. The owner and the mamasan made me feel at home. I will definitely visit this bar the next time I am here.

I was in Speedy's about a month ago, and you're right, it is a very friendly place, a good drinking spot, but the girls are 3's and 4's at the best which is no comparison to the collection of girls at L. I feel your pain Aviator, but I keep returning to Manila (Kojax, Bottoms, Plan be, Cotton Club) and not cheaper AC because I like MNL girls so much more plus it is not as expensive as it initially begins because repeat girls give me price perks for my continuing commerce. So why do I like the MNL girls more? Here is one simple example that might explain things in graphical terms dealing with menage a trois:

The bars in Burgos are all fronts for other activities. This is pretty well known. And to answer your question on the death knell for Burgos, NO SIR, the place is alive and kicking, possibly even thriving. On any given day PlanB is packed wall to wall with punters having a great time. Girls at Kojax share duties with XOXO. Kojax is open on TFS. And XOXO operates on SMTW. I don't know why. I asked one waitress during my last trip and she grinned at me like I asked her a question on advanced calculus.

The logic for price is simple. Discerning customers will pay a premium for value. Do you get to buy a Porsche at a 40% discount because the showroom is empty when you walked in?

I like the EDSA Entainment Complex. It is one of the two nightlife spots where I mainly draw my girls when I am in Metro Manila. The other is Burgos Street of course. Like the bar scene in BKK or Pattaya or anywhere else, it is all about the top 10% of girls that are available to you in any location on any given night. I had a few hours to kill around the Malate area and wandered around for a bit. I cam across Ritz Spa, a big upscale massage parlour. They showed me the menu and it was 700 for a 1-hour massage in an open area with no partitions and 1400 for the same massage in a private room.
