    Hi Guys,

I am heading to Manilla but have the wife with me, I was considering a massage place but my past experiances, I prefer a girl to the apartment / hotel.

I was hoping some of you could help with some questions, wife wants more shopping, so I was looking at the MOA area and on airbnb found some good apartments, one of two suggest registration is needed, are tehse not girl friendly and therefore look at others? Are their any reasnably priced hotels in the area?

Secondly with inviting girls from pinalove etc, is it eash enougth to get a girl for a few hours in the afternoon?

Is it better to get an apartment or a hotel in Manilla?

Like many things, it didn't survive the plandemic and the catastrophic (especially in the Phils) overreaction thereof. Really, it was on its last legs even before that. Modern times and new ways of working 'the profession' were already taking their toll. The Chinese cooties were just a kind of mercy killing. When passing by the area last year, the space appears to live on as a combination motorbike parking garage and office / classrooms on the upper floor.

MRT, LRT not for the feint of heart

Just be aware that taking the public transit trains in Manila isn't like taking similar metros in Japan, Singapore, Europe, etc. It can make Tokyo at rush hour look positively roomy by comparison: Long lines often JUST TO GET IN to the station, long line to get a ticket, long line to get through the turnstile, the area after the turnstile chock a block with people waiting to get downstairs to the platform. Of course the train will be cattle car packed. Often (or mostly) the trains don't have air conditioning. Keep track of your pockets and your valuables! Also, be aware that when you transfer from MRT to LRT at Taft that it's not the seamless process that most other places have. You will go completely out of the turnstiles and out of the MRT Taft station, walk up and down stairs fighting crowds all the way. Then for the LRT you will start the process again of getting in the station, getting a new ticket, going through turnstiles again, etc. Maybe some will want to try it once just for the adventure. But for repeat visits I think you'll end up agreeing that you might as well pay a bit more for a taxi.

It's likely you'll be closer to Ayala Station than Buendia Station if you're staying around Gbelt. Personally, I prefer Ayala Station, not just for the convenience, but also for the enjoyable walk. Passing through the malls allows me to window-shop and provides a welcome cool-down from the Philippine heat.

LRT. Taft - Recto station (walk 15 minutes or take a trike) and your there in Divisoria.

I took a friend out to Dvisoria (DV) and, surprisingly, he had a ball. Each time we talk about our trip to DV he couldn't wipe out that grin of his gringo face.
    Mea culpa. GOOD Santa!

You will have to find other establishments, Mr. Long.

    Someone else check that.

I must admit, Manila isn't the most tourist-friendly city. For relaxation and recreation, I would recommend Bangkok. I travel to Manila frequently for work, visiting two to three times a year.

However, I find Bangkok to be a more enjoyable city overall. The prices in Bangkok are generally more reasonable, and in my personal opinion, the women there are more attractive.

Yuh I was there about a month ago. For brunch only as I was the the first and only customer at that time. I was watching a NFL football game in a comfortable chair. Food is good. I got the waitress' phone number. She's overweight but has giant tits and cute face. I figured she might be BJ queen as many of the chubby Pinays are! I don't know about the nighttime or freelance action.

Foods is the same menu. Can you be more specific about when you were there? Things change a lot.
