Had a really good time in LA Cafe last night. Arrived about 11:00 pm. Not sure why folks feel it is in a dodgy area, because there are fancy shops only a block away on the main drag. Anyway, lots of loud music and girls around, although it is a huge place and it wasn't all that crowded. I sat and watched all the girls for a while, shooing off the approaching ones, who tend to be the oldest / plainest. The quality ranged from 3 to 7 out of ten, with an occasional 8 (they were usually with others). I looked for one that might be fun and friendly. One kept smiling at me, but she was a bit slim for my taste, so I didn't have her stay.

Finally saw a cute girl, Shane, with an 8 face and a 7.5 body (probably a couple of pounds more around the middle than I like, but hard to tell as she was wearing jeans). We spent some time together upstairs listening to the band. She was 23, quiet, and her English was only passable. When we got around to rates, she asked 3000ST and 5000 LT. I laughed and said those weren't the usual rates, and tried to get her down to 1500ST, even considered 2000, but she wouldn't budge from 2500, so we parted ways. She would probably be passive in bed as well, so just as well.

Well, the girl I previously passed up was still around and smiling and looking better after a few beers, so I called her over. Lisa was 29 and a lot more fun. English was v. Good, she was teasing, touching me, and giggling a lot. She started at 2000, and I decided not to jeopardize the fun vibe by negotiating, so we headed to my hotel (after first checking that kissing and BBBJ were ok). Well, I had just a fabulous time. She was very GFE with great service. Lots of kissing, teasing, an excellent BBBJ, and then so many positions. She made sure I was feeling good, and I finished with a huge explosive cum. My first night in Manila and didn't get checked in until late. Staying in Alabang, which is a long way from the action, but at least at midnight there isn't much traffic. Couldn't get a Grab, so took a taxi to EDSA. Tried to rip me off with a 700 quote, dropped it to 300 when I opened the door to leave. Got to EDSA at about 12:30 am, but it was pretty dead. Went into 4 or 5 of the bars, and the busiest one had 3 or 4 other guys in it. A couple had no one in there. One of the girls said that long weekends were more family time, keeping the menfolk away. So, at least I had the pick of girls (there were at least a dozen in each bar! But decided just to have a look see this time.

Had a beer and sat with (and bought drinks for) a girl or two at Firehouse, Cotton Club and Pitstop. Maybe it was just the girls I picked, but the mamasans were more fun and interactive than the girls. English was a bit limited for the younger ones. The most fun and best English was the first girl at Firehouse. She was older at 33 (she said) with a pretty face but a bit chunkier than I like. The others were 20,22, and 25 - slim, petite with nice natural tits. Anyway, they were all lovely (at least 7's to 8's in my ratings), but I didn't feel bad about not barfining any of them this time because they weren't that interactive or sensual. Maybe I'll choose one of the more outgoing but less pretty ones next time.

Anyway, will try out LA Cafe earlier tomorrow night to see what action is there, before maybe heading back to EDSA later, since they close at 3 am now. I only got one quote from mamasan, since I wasn't really interested in taking a girl, which was 1950 for bar fine, 3000 for ST, and 5000 for LT. The girl fees seemed high for how dead it was, but maybe it's a bit negotiable.

Returned back to hotel in pouring rain with Grab driver. Oh, and for the record, the Grab app doesn't map EDSA properly, so just use the location pin. The driver and I had a devil of a time trying to figure out where the pickup spot was.

I stay at the Pavilion hotel at United nation ave last Oct. Own by waterfront hotel with casino inside the hotel, I got a poker room rate 48 usd a night this is a new hotel room is large not as nice as Hyatt or the pan pacific but I got a very good deal for the poker tournament only 10 min walk to ocean park.

Last weekend, I was in Manila. Some work and some pleasure. Airport was a breeze in comparison to long queues at immigration and taxi's etc.

First night, I went to the Guilly's club and it was quite busy and happening with lot of local talent. Decided to not pick up anyone there and went back to hotel after spending good 3-4 hours enjoying my drinks. Next night, it was LAC. Nothing much on offer there. Waste of time. Met another guy, and we together decided to go to Royal club in Makati. This is decent small, but on this night, it was pretty dull. Anyways picked one up and back to hotel for the usual stuff. No bar fine, just pay to the girl, like any other clubs. Place is quite chilled out and got some space to mingle and dance.

Next 3 nights busy with work. Last night to EDSA. First cotton club, very very dull, with nothing good on offer. Firehouse was on fire literally, with several hotties. Picked one and back to hotel. Bar fine and 4 k to girl. Pretty hot and sexy. No pics allowed by girls and I did not push.

I am glad you had a good experience Dg and I have also noticed a definite improvement in taxi services in all terminals (which I regularly use) but I would caution other potential arrivees that Dg's experience on one day at 2. 30 pm is not necessarily generalizable.

I came in last Friday at around 6. 30 pm and it was an absolute clusterfuck at T3.

Long lines for all modes of taxis (white, yellow and coupon) with very few taxis joining the line intermittently, and the surge prices for Uber and Grab were off the scale because they simply couldn't get into the terminal.

It might have been the usual Friday jam or another unusual circumstance but I would suggest that Dg's comment that "Taxis are no longer a problem. No lines for taxis. . " is not always the case.

Maybe you're already doing this, but arrival T2 & T3 I always make an immediate beeline to Departures and grab a taxi who just dropped someone off, two weeks ago PHP200 to COD inc skyway toll.

I plan to return to the PI in November fro an extended trip. I'm more experienced in Thailand. Isn't 3,500 fro a HJ crazy expensive? Even included at 2000 would be expensive but then she could get a tip of some sort. Is this really the norm?

Yes, I thought it was expensive too and did not take any extra service. However, keep in mind the 2 k was for a nuru massage, so the girl was already sliding all over me naked.

I'm back from a long Philippines trip and just getting caught up with my reports. I had a long list of GF types to see from DIA and Pinalove so didn't expect to spend any time in bars. I arrived late at night at my room at the Rothman Hotel in Ermita because it was convenient for a meeting the next day. It has been 5 years since I was in Ermita last. Chose Ava, supposedly 19 years old, more like 25-26, but nice body. No child damage.

Was driven to a nearby ST hotel. Very average rooms.

Enjoyed the nuru massage, was quoted 1. 5 k for HJ and 5 k for ATW (sic).

Chatted with her, tried to get her to be a bit more reasonable, but did not succeed.

I liked the body slide, etc. But found the rates for extras excessive.

Generally you'll need to stay until the 2nd friend is ready to leave or has hooked up too.
