I'm not thankful for coffee shops staying open at higher prices.

You can be thankful all you want.

I will be thankful when a coffee shop opens up and gives me coffee for free. They will have all my thanks.

Until then I will go to a coffee shop and see the prices and if it's too expensive I will leave. It's a business transaction. These business aren't my friends.
I will defer to your vast business education and experience.

Meanwhile I will be thankful and enjoying my morning coffee even at 30% more.

Be happy some are still opening up. Predictions are half of the businesses will be closing up or bankrupting soon.

Perhaps some opportunistic western can pick up a place cheap and charge 30% less?

I went for my regular cup of coffee in a nearby coffee shop in Ortigas today.

I was the only person in the shop.

    Regular latte: 175 php.

    Choc chip cookie 85 php.

I said "WTF!! You have increased the prices by 30%.

Shop assistant: Yes sir. Corona virus sir. No customers.

I almost said "Cancel the order; this is ridiculous", but I paid and stayed. They just lost me as a customer. What's the logic in such a move? (it's a rhetorical question. Please don't respond).

Cebu real estate agent (with very nice legs and figure I may add!) called me said best buy the condo now as we increase prices next month.

I asked "how many have you sold in last 6 months".

    She replied "none sir".

I asked " so why increase prices as you sold none and will have less chance if you increase prices, why not drop prices".

Her reply " because this is policy sir".

I never did come back despite me wanting to enjoy her other skills LOL.

I'd take it a little further. Do not just settle for the face on skype or other video chat, ask to see her body as well. I've been burnt in the past settling just for video chat, met the girl who had a nice face but did not have a good enough body.

All very true but the OP should note that if the girls list their location as Cebu, check if this is Cebu City or Cebu Province. If she is in Cebu Province, she could easily be several hours away from Cebu City.

Don't rule these girls out though as many are very happy to bus in or the the OP could go spend a few days at the much better beaches in Bohol or the Visayas.

    Enjoy. G.

    Ta!

    Thank you Paul.

A dalliance with a Filipino in Brizzo could be quite the go.

I'll check Brisbane forum and let you know.

Some genius in the past thought Cebu deserved its own "country" thread, so go to the Asian section and it's listed under there.
