Just completed my 5th or is it 6th Manila weekend. Maybe I'm gettting older, less energetic or maybe the last about of viral fever laid me low but wasnt in top form. Still did the obligatory 3 in 3 but wasnt as "into it" as on previous trips. Still had fun, stil got lots of texts from unknown girls within hours of arriving, and still enjoyed, just not the maximum enjoyment of previous trips.

I would like to dispel any notion that living here means I run around constantly humping anything & everything with no loyalty to anybody. Like most ex-pats who don't flame out from sexual addiction I have a life outside ISG.

I live out here and have a lot of expat friends, and I would say that the vast majority of expats that have lived out here for a while have this attitude. They are settled with one girl, but may occasionally fool around on the side.

I, on the other hand, happen to be in the very small majority that has an insatiable appetite for barfining. I have lived in the Philippines for 5 years now, and I barfine at every opportunity I get. The problem is that not a single one of my friends is into this (their idea of going into a bar is getting drunk - go figure.), so basically I am out by myself when I barhop The most fun I have is when friends or relatives from out of town visit me and it is one to two weeks of perpetual barhopping. I'm pretty sure there has, and I've also seen something very similar across the region, especially in Thailand and Indonesia. The past ten years or so have definitely seen a new generation. The old Asian ways are fading, replaced by a new kind of cosmopolitan, anything-goes style. Yep WC, No need to invest too much time in reading or writing profiles. As you have found, many girls simply spam all guys anyway. Most have very limited english. Keep your profile short & simple. Don't waste words pretending to be seeking a wife if you're not. Just a few tactful words hinting. Get a decent pic of your self.

I sort them geographically then by looks. I take little notice of the girls profile wording as it is usually generic rubbish, anything better may well have just been written by a bakla cousin

The further they are from Manila, the less likely they are to get a guy to follow through on visiting them. Most guys get as far as their airport of entry (typically Manila) and get scooped up by the many girls there.

In addition, about 10% of the girls say up-front in first message to me, they would love to 'tour' me when I'm on xxxx city.
