X, I was not aware of any such policy. I've been on CB for 10 days now, have had 300+ smiles/emails. I have yet to initiate contact there with any girl -- no need to, they keep ringing me or emailing. They dont always leave contact info (like that phone), but some do in the form of their YM id.

Hello X, Last time I used a CB account a couple of months ago you still had to do the silly little back & forth messaging on site before you could exchange your email/Yahoo/phone details. Of course jumping to the CB chat window circumvents that if you are lucky to strike them online as the same time as you.

I followed your lead. You mentioned this before. A week ago I made a CB profile, claiming I did not want marriage and was only interested in fun and touring. Over 200 emails and smiles in a week; I have not had the need to browse the their members and contact anyone myself. About 1/3 have not read my profile when I ask in chat. I have them go do that while chatting. They say "Oh ok. We not compatible. " They are not looking for 'fun'. Or, they say the opposite, they are willing to spend time with me if I come there. Yep WC, No need to invest too much time in reading or writing profiles. As you have found, many girls simply spam all guys anyway. Most have very limited english. Keep your profile short & simple. Don't waste words pretending to be seeking a wife if you're not. Just a few tactful words hinting. Get a decent pic of your self.

I sort them geographically then by looks. I take little notice of the girls profile wording as it is usually generic rubbish, anything better may well have just been written by a bakla cousin :)

The further they are from Manila, the less likely they are to get a guy to follow through on visiting them. Most guys get as far as their airport of entry (typically Manila) and get scooped up by the many girls there.

Given a little patience, a profile on CB & Tagged will attract many girls, a proportion of which will be attractive to you & open to short term 'fun'.
There is no guarantee, sometimes you strike out for a while & sometimes you hit pay dirt very fast. Guess that's why British & Australians call our hobby 'punting' (rather than the more vulgar mongering).

I think I would have turned RIGHT out the front door on Makati Avenue to get to P Burgos.
Turn left and you end up near Landmark opposite Greenbelt.

This one is easily settled - from the front door of the hotel you first need to turn left to get to Makati avenue, then once on Makati avenue, turn right. That's because the entrance is not on Makati avenue itself but inside an open parking lot.

Happy hour prices during the day. Still a rip off, but cheap by foreign standards. There are a couple of short time hotels on Burgos, I think p700, the girls should be able to show you.

If you have more time take a taxi into Manila to Ermita and LA Cafe. During the day expect it will take 45 minutes to get there but it is open 24 hours. It will cost p500-1,000 for the girl plus p600 for aircon room at Amazonia.

Now that I became aware of it, I can find quite a few thing about it, for ex: "Low-powered jammers block calls in a range of about 30 feet (9 m). Well, I guess it depends how you define "pro". For me a pro is a girl who has been doing that for years and who has chosen to do it as a profession and does not have any freshnesh anymore. Most of the girls I met in AC where girls who were quite new in the trade and did it because they didn't have alternatives. It's temporary and they don't really chose to do it as a profession. Besides, I don't think they are bar-fined that often. There are so many of them, I think they only get bar-fined from time to time.

Of course we could discuss for age on this, as the hard core pro also had no alternative, etc, and much of what I said above may also apply to them. I did not mean to say girls in AC were cherry girls. What I mean to say is that they are more like between the hard core pro who has been doing it for years and regular girls. You need to read my comment in the context to what I was responding to.

Girls in AC can be as enthusiastic as a regular girl if they like you, unlike the hardened pro who is blasé and do it as quick as possible. And a regular girl may very well have had more boy friends and short time relations than the bar girls, depending on how long they have been doing it. AC girls, just like regular girls, also hope to find a rich foreigner who will free them from poverty. I don't think there is that much of a difference between them. But of course there is a point where they cross the line between being an amateur and a pro, though I am not sure where that point is and if it ever can be defined at all.

For example, compare girls you find in the red light district of Amsterdam and the ones to be found in AC and you'll get the picture of what I mean to say.

havent' posted in a while, but, see maybe I could contribute. I've been going to the Phils for 20 years. The one thing I learned was to never, ever pick up a girl on the street, or to use a Mamasan on the street. The bars have at least some credibility behind their name - which means you can report a troublesome girl, and most have some sort of health check - despite the fact that some checks are pencil whipped. Most clubs provide condoms and the like. Yes, the clubs are often more expensive, but, this is what you're paying for. Girls on the street - on the other hand - are usually there because they can't make it in the bars (which is a sad sign). They don't show up on time, or are troublesome to the customers, or worse, have failed a health check.

I know there are exceptions - and we love to hear about those. But, its very rare.

I have on occasion picked up some girls nearby to Burgos who were non-pro's trying their luck to pay the rent but there is always the nagging worry that you just did something you will regret.

Dont be too hard on him WC, I think what he means is the AC *****s are greener in comparison to say the Burgos St *****s for example. Not 100% true but if you are looking for FOF (fresh of the farm) you're more likely to find them in AC which is where many seem to serve their apprenticeship before flaming out or migrating to the higher paying venues in Manila for example.

On the other hand, as we both know, he has certainly bought into pinay bullshit if he believes for a second any BG who tells him she's a 'nice girl just trying to get by'. Thats a blatant lie.

I rarely waste time on the dating sites these day's (there's so much pussy right under your nose here) but occassionally I go on for fun. One pretty gal from Davao was very keen to meet me. She offered to fly to Manila to meet me but I gently & graciously declined as I was not going to waste money on an air fare for goods I had not inspected (ahem). She said no need, she was coming anyway.. Turns out her american fiancé was paying as she had to get a health clearance before the embassy would grant her fiance visa etc.

True to her word she came, she stayed in my hotel several nights shagging me enthusiastically despite my rebuff. She went back to Davao & as far as I know she got her visa & went to her old guy in the states. This girl looked sweet & innocent.. Ah Emily, Emily, where are you now..?
