Thanks for the detailed report. I linked it to Reports of Distinction. I don't think what you paid for overnighters was far off if it was off at all. Not sure about people getting certain women in LA for 1000-1500 long time. I guess you can get it from the not so good looking ones and stuff which make up more than the average there, but you can't put that price on the higher tier women there I think. Unless they are desperate and maybe real late, I think the better looking ones will dismiss someone for such an offer. Of course, if you see them more than once and they like you, things change and can get a lot cheaper.

Not sure where all this mamasan action is there. I've gone so much and very very rarely see anything at all like that in there. Most of the time it's for some of the new women there but the majority of them don't have anything like that. Next time you might want to mix it up a little bit and go check out the other venues just to get a gauge of other things. Trip Report: Jun 1 ~ Jun 11, 2009.

My first trip to the Philippines.

I'd been corresponding online with a girl from Manila for the past year or so via Facebook. Though I normally live in Los Angeles, I've been in Seoul for over a month, and I figured, why not finally just visit Manila and bang this 21 year old chick?

So I started calling her, and we made plans to meet up. We were talking about touring Manila, possibly checking out Boracay together, and whatnot.

I then purchased my airline tickets, booked my hotel, and then decided to give her a call, literally about 16 hours before my flight was to depart. I was going to tell her I was arriving in a bit, and wanted to know if she would come out to the airport to meet me.

This forum came as a huge source of help, and I give thanks to ISG. Fortunately, it turns out the hotel I'd booked (the Lotus Garden in Ermita) was only a few minutes away from LA Cafe. Being on Padre Faura and A Mabini, I think it was only 3~4 blocks to LA Cafe.

Anyway, I arrived in Manila at my hotel around 2 PM, checked in, relaxed for a bit, and a few hours later, decided to head out. I found the infamous LA Cafe, went in, sat down, ordered a burger and took in the scene.

I did talk to a few girls, but I didn't find many of them attractive enough to bother with, so after about an hour and a half or so, I went back to the hotel. Later on at night, I went back to LA Cafe, and this time went to the back room, where they have the one pool table.

I sat there, ordered a bottle of Jose Cuervo, and started drinking. During the time a few girls talked to me, but again, none of them I cared to talk to. I had a few shots with the waitress, and I managed to talk to a Filipino guy who was sitting nearby. We ended up doing some shots, and he introduced me to his wife, and then we started playing some pool.

Later on, as we're getting buzzed, the guy (he says his name is Charles) says he wants to introduce me to his wife's friend. I forgot her name, but he pointed her out, and she was actually a very pretty girl. One of the top 5% in all of LA Cafe.

We started doing shots together, and after a while, him and his wife start joking that I should take her out and have fun. Anyway, eventually I do it, and the girl tells me to tip 'Charles' like 200 pesos... which I did.

So the two of us walk back to my hotel, and on the way there, I was harassed by a homeless woman who wouldn't stop following me, so I threw her 20 pesos and she went away.

Long story short (is it too late for that?), we got back to my room, and normally I take a shower before doing anything, but this time, no. We went right at it, and there was some DFK, BBBJ, a few positions, and it was fairly 'passionate'.

Afterwards, she took a shower, and after she came back out, I fell asleep around that time.

Now, the confusing thing is the next morning, when I only had 1,200 pesos in my wallet. I wasn't sure how much I was supposed to pay her. I figured I'd just give her everything in my wallet, which was 1,200 pesos (I spent the rest on the tequila and whatnot from the previous night, and my foreign currency, as well as all my other valuables were in the hotel safe downstairs).

She had a disappointed look, but took it. I feel kind of bad, but she didn't complain or anything, so I figured maybe it's alright. Anyway, later that night, I saw her at LA Cafe again, playing pool, but she didn't acknowledge me at all.

Later on, as I found out what the going rate was (apparently about 2,000), I felt bad about it, and wanted to give her an extra 1,000 if I ever saw her again, which I didn't (though to be honest, the latter 3/4 of my trip I always went straight upstairs at LA Cafe).

I ended up picking up a total of four girls at LA Cafe during my 10 days.

Girl #1 - Paid her 1,200. Felt bad about it later. Facially speaking, she was probably the prettiest one of all the girls. Bodywise, I couldn't tell much because the first night she had one of those dresses on that could cover a stomach. The second time I saw her I could see she had a tiny belly, but no big deal.

Long story short, she was working at LA Cafe about three years ago, but due to too many bad experiences (getting robbed, beaten, etc) she stopped. It is only due to her mother recently being hospitalized and released that she came back temporarily.

Anyway, I spent the last three of my last four days with her (the second night I wanted her, she was not at LA Cafe, so I took out Girl #3 from this report instead). The pricing is basically 500 PHP per hour for the lady time charge, and beers are from 100~130 PHP depending on whether you want San Mig Light or Pilsen. Johnny Walker Black was 3,000 PHP. A fruit plate is like 800 PHP.

Basically if two guys went there and spent about two hours there (1000 PHP each), drinking about 10 beers altogether (1000 PHP) and sharing a fruit plate (800 PHP), then the total would come out to 3,800 PHP. On top of that, maybe if you wanted to tip the girl, let's say... 300 PHP each, and maybe 100 PHP to the waiter. Your total comes to 4,500 PHP for two guys. 2,250 PHP each person for two hours of fun at a KTV.

I went about three times, and went alone each time. However, I never took a girl out from there. The charge to take the girls out for some hotel action is 5,000 PHP! Wow... That's on top of whatever you paid for drinks and whatnot at the KTV... so your total night's cost could come out to over 7,000 PHP when all is said and done.

The thing is, I didn't find the girls at the KTV to be any more prettier than the girls at LA Cafe. Well, to be fair, there were maybe 2 stunners at the KTV, and one was an absolute stunner (very beautiful face with huge triple D breasts on a thin frame), but for the most part, you're better off at LA Cafe.

I didn't check out any other spots in Manila, like Makati's Burgos St or EDSA or whatever, but if any mongers would like to get together next time and maybe show me the ropes and share some stories, that would be great.

I also noticed some cabbies telling me about apartment girls. What exactly are 'apartment girls'? Sounds interesting, as we have something similar in Korea, but we call them 'officetel girls', but I'm not sure if it's the same system.

(you have so much in common compared to anyone else in asia) the average thai girl would have a hard time finding the us on a map, whereas the locals learn more about the us then you could possibly imagine. my gf for example, can name the capital cities of more states in the us than i can. my point is, a thai will assume the guy disappears forever and therefore she has a limited window of time to extract benefit whereas the filipina can mentally map a better life for herself and family through her new benefactor.

One of them who seemed like one of the sharper knives in the drawer explained to me that she tried to be affectionate and pleasing because she figured it was good for business. She told me that she'd found that older Western men tended to be more gentle and more affectionate than other men, and so she tried especially hard to please men whom she wanted to have pick her up again. So this was her business sense, and it was essentially devoid of the kind of mercenary calculations one might expect.

So, nasty as the environment and the selection at LA often is, there is nonetheless a sense of honor among the dishonorable.

From my own observations, I would say that the types of girls who work out of LA Café can be broadly categorized as follows:

1. The hoary (or whory) old regulars.
2. Those staying at the boarding house upstairs. Also regular.
3. Moonlighters from other venues in Burgos, EDSA and Cubao. They may be rejects on health grounds but many visit after work if they have not been barfined (or have and want more money).
4. Less regular visitor from outlying areas such as Cavite etc who come in once or twice a week. Often seems to be single mothers.
5. The true amateur, often visiting with a friend, but not adverse to a spot of business. Seen once or twice and never again or becomes a very infrequent visitor. Sometimes students or in other gainful employment.

There may be other categories and obviously the dividing line between them are blurry. Also it is difficult, without being a daily regular, to distinguish between the various types. Even the haggard old regular will claim to be a student:D.

In all cases, the onus is on you the monger to check that the meat is fit for consumption. Don't know about you guys but I always err towards extreme caution and have a trusted and step by step hygiene procedure which does seem to work and has kept me infection free. But mongering is a risk takers game and there are never any guarantees. However, it never fails to amaze me how many guys will bareback LA Cafe girls:eek:.

I have had some problems with bad smelling pussies from LA cafe. I always check the smell even though I will never bareback anybody from there.
