Thanks to all for your assistance. Turns out that my friend has a flight on a different airline that also connects thru Taiwan and only arrives 2 hours before I do into Terminal 1. So he is going to hang out in the cafe and await for me until we can catch our driver to AC.

Don't believe there is one, unless you mean the shacks by the car park!

Thanks for your thoughts. I know I could handle it, because I find the madness kinda fun, but I don't really know about him. He arrives at 0600, so he should clear customs and immigration by 7-730. I have not heard good things about that hotel, but maybe I can suggest another place that is easier and more fun to hang out like the Hyatt Hotel and Casino. Does Terminal 2 have food and drink after one has cleared customs/immigration? I have been in the building before, but I am struggling to remember if there is any more than the airline counters up front. But your idea of somewhere he could even get a room would be a positive point of contact that would be easy to arrange. I'll have to look into hotels that might be willing to guarantee early check-in.

Yes indeed Air Force 1 does accept credit cards. Not sure what it says on the receipt -- in case you want to charge it to the company's expense account :-)

ah no. Cebu Pacific has transferred ALL flights, domestic and international, to terminal 3 as of 1 month ago. You cannot log onto to their website without getting a pop informing you of that. I also think Asian Spirit has moved already. Several other carriers have moved, or are in the process of moving to terminal 3. If any doubt CALL YOUR CARRIER.

Ah no. See above re Cebu Pacific (the other main domestic carrier-ASian Spirit and Sea Air are the others (Air Philippines is basically a division of PAL ads their flights are from Centennial terminal).

Hopefully this clears up the misinformation posted by others.

This is exactly right. In PRC, I'm just a pointer: point, grunt, screw, pay, repeat. In RP, I can actually have a conversation! I was in the LA Cafe a couple months ago at 10 am and I wasn't looking too hard, I was playing pool and messing with the girls. Around 1 pm this girl walked in to pick up her friend and I said hi as she passed me and she gave me the dirtiest look, so I figured whatever.

An hour later as we were playing pool, her friend and I realized that we were staying in the same hotel. She was staying with her boyfriend, who was at work. So, in our talks, she told me that her friend had lost her cell and needed a new cell and she that she worked in SM. I don't know if this is BS, but I offered to buy her a new cell if she came by my room. After an hour of thinking she said that she would, I was like sure you will. I went to the hotel and thirty minutes later she knocked on my door.
Without a doubt, a diamond in the cafe. Also I would like to thank PAL (Plane Aways Late), because I was scheduled to fly to Mindanao at 3 pm and the plane was delayed, so the hotel changed my flight to the next day, or I wouldn't have had the chance to meet her.

Sounds like you had a great time! I hit all the same areas (except Roxas), and had a similar attitude/experience. When you find a nice WG, they seem genuine and truly GF in the RP, possibly more than PRC or ROK (my two other areas of much experience). Pricing is higher than PRC, but much less than ROK and US. I didn't venture out of Manila/Makati, but just these two venues makes me want to come back. If I had gone around like you, I might move to the Philippines!!

Hey Mr. Perfect miss, sorry I was in Cebu the exact time you were in Manila. Would have been great to have cruzed to exchange war stories in Manila and CP. I like CP better, just because of my flavor, light skin, pink color, never had babies before, younger, and just prettier...IMHO... No flaming please. Well the ST hotels like SOGO only charge 500p for three hours and ST from LA Cafe is only 1500p vs. going to AF1 where total charges are 3000p. With that being said, I prefer Air Force 1 anytime.

Air Force 1 hands down, agreed. And you forgot to mention the most important factor, quality/talent. Its like comparing apples to oranges, or hotties to fuglies. LA Cafe is lacking in talent. And I heard, that AF1 has mandatory health checks , as for LA Cafe Freelancers, I doubt it.

Terminal 1 is for all international flights, EXCEPT Philipines Airlines.
Terminal 2 is for all international flight for Philipine Airlines
Terminal 3 (just opened) is for domestic flights, cebu pacific, pal, etc...
Not sure, but this is what I got from the taxi guys.
