The gf came over to the hotel when she got off at about 7 pm.

We ate, then went strolling along Timog Ave, nothing to do, when we came across this bar called Amihan, right on the corner of Ybardolaza St.

We went in, saw that it was a girlie bar, when a mamasan came over to greet us. She explained the basics of how the place worked, and the gf decided that she was interested. So we were shown to a table near the middle of the place. I offered the mamasan 200 pesos to get us a table at the edge of the dance floor. The place is a local place, and I was the only foreigner, but there was no animosity, and the mamasan was happy to see me.

Beers cost 150. The mamasan explained that ladies drinks are 295 pesos. During the evening, the gf got a plate of chicken for less than 200 pesos. There are VIP rooms at 1500 pesos, and a girl to join in the room is 1500 pesos for one hour, total 3000 per hour, apparently no holds barred. But she said that you must confirm with the girl what she will do for the money. Girls will sit with you at your table and talk for ladies drinks.

There is no barfine or take out system The girls work in the bar till it closes at 4am. There is no objection to negotiation with a girl for her to join you after, in fact the mamasans encourage it. She said that a girl would expect about 1500 pesos for long time, but prices are negotiable.

At the time we got there, about midnight, there was a line up on stage of 11 dancers, all pretty presentable, probably 7.5 to 9, different sizes and shapes. Some were completely covered for the whole time we were there, others completely nude, and others in between, some up front, a couple were shy, beginners.

At times, one dancer would start clothed, strip slowly, then finish up starkers flashing her **** at the guys in the audience. There was quite a lot of action, guys calling down girls for drinks, three or four VIP rooms occupied, quite a money spinner.

All in all, a fair night’s entertainment for a relatively low price.

I have been planning for some time to move permanently to the Philippines, and I have been searching on Cherry Blossoms for suitable girl friends for long time relationship(s). About one third never pursued our communications, and dropped off quickly. Of the rest, about 6 or 7 kept going, to the point of meeting up, and generally bedding. So maybe 10 percent were serious.

I checked into the Imperial Suites hotel in late afternoon, and texted the gf, who came over with her very pretty virginal cousin, Miss H, who slept over in our bed, fully dressed. It killed the sex situation, while keeping me feeling very horny with two women in the bed. A terrible situation, I was really pissed off. It seemed like the gf was deliberately making things hard. This is my first contribution.

Travelling on business to Manila, I checked the opportunities. Being based somewhat far from Ermita/Makati and typically early to late in the office, my forum-related activities were restricted to a Friday and Saturday night. I checked the Havana at Greenbelt, but was disappointed. Lots of expats and (mixed) couples, but hardly any FLs, at least not before 10pm. Following recommendations, I moved upstairs which is indeed a well spend investment (P150). From 10/11pm, the better quality girls arrive or move up from groundfloor. The life music is ok, but far too loud. Main benefits compared to groundfloor are better looking girls and more space. Girls generally are a minimum 7/10. I hardly would reject anyone for looks, only. For choosing the girls, I tend to avoid stunners and those overly active ones, since I expect attitude, excessive fees or other problems later in the room (drunk, drugs, tired from dancing etc.). Both times I selected a Joy.

Joy1 was dressed like a student or office girl, plaid blouse and jeans, but immediately started cuddling. Took her to hotel. At 2am, she pretended to be too tired for sex (and I almost send her home), but next morning provide some nice GFE, nothing too special though. Called her on a following weekday evening. After some time (organizing babysitter for her 5yo), we met at a restaurant near my hotel. She was not interested in having further drinks, but rather to go to hotel. Nice GFE again. At 2am a phonecall with a male voice (in Tagalog and English). Did not allow much fondling. Took her to hotel, but only because it was too late for her to go home (she innocently said). Came from shower wrapped in towels and with panties still on. Did not allow sex. Woke up at 10am. Agreed to some sex, but I would have to pay, to support her daddy, child blabla…in exchange for “giving-in” her innocence (remaining part). To avoid a complete waste of time, I said yes, but performance was soso, endurance even less (“I am tired…”). After late lunch at a mall, she send numerous text messages (real love, marriage with foreign guy blabla), including a last one 6:30am next day which then was my wakeup call. I am happy to switch off my local SIM card when I leave.

Conclusion: If you can expect mixed experience from the supposedly (semi-) “good girls” at LA (who turned out to be hookers, too), why not go straightforward with the stunners and/or the first one who grabs your balls?

P.S.: Both Joys mentioned Havana at Greenbelt. So I indeed left too early. But since you may meet the same girls as at LA upstairs’, choose by location by convenience.

i dont have any knowldge of "bj bars " in manila, simialr to those in bkk or santos street...and those in santos street you can also no compare to bkk.manila is very different then bangkok, no nude dancing (at least not in western owned bars), no shows..its different (yawn)..good thing they talk englsish.

Back in 2003 I made my first ever trip to Manila. I read the the WSG that the Filling Station in Burgos was a good place to meet women after the bars closed around 3am. I was on Burgos for 1 night in 2003. I walked into the Filling Station just to check it out, but I was occupied the whole night by the 2 girls i picked up, plus a 3rd that was with me for a few days.

I have read nothing in this form regarding the Filling Station.
Is it still there?

Back in 2003 I made my first ever trip to Manila. I read the the WSG that the Filling Station in Burgos was a good place to meet women after the bars closed around 3am. I was on Burgos for 1 night in 2003. I walked into the Filling Station just to check it out, but I was occupied the whole night by the 2 girls i picked up, plus a 3rd that was with me for a few days.

I have read nothing in this form regarding the Filling Station.
