If you insist on checking into your hotel of choice very early, make sure you have a commitment in email or other writing from them to let you do that. Otherwise you may have to reserve the night before or else pay something extra for the privilege. Or they may tell you sorry we don't have a room available yet.

My story:
I flew in at 530am last time I was there. I was booked into City Garden Manila: when I asked for early entry during the reservation process, they only said that depends on availability. So I took my chances, but when I arrived, they said they were still full and there was no room available for me. Looking back, I should have taken an ST place like Sogo or Victoria Court to hold me until the afternoon. Or else included the night before in my booking and let them know I was going to be really, really late. As it was, I wasted almost 4 hours until City Garden could get me a room before noon.

At least I was able to leave my luggage at the front desk, but I did not want to trust them with my laptop bag so I took that with me while walking around. But at 8am, Robinson's is not open yet nor are any but the scuzziest money changers available. And I wasn't going into LA Cafe with my laptop bag so not much to do. What a waste!

This is only a guess, but it may be better to stay in an ST place, then check in to your hotel around 2 or 2:30, then you can be nice and ask for the best room they have available at your rate. They should have a few rooms open by then.

if your hotel give you a hard time about checking in early either book the extra night or grab a honey and release some pressure at a short-time hotel. At that time selection will be severely limited, but so what...

I'm looking to book SFO-MNL for a fun-finding expedition but the "best" flights arrive MNL at 5am! The redeye flight is fine with me but on arrival I want to check in to my hotel without delay.

Should I choose another flight with a later arrival time?

That depends on what hotel you're staying at. I've flown clients in at 5am and they were able to check into Mandarin at that time and not be charged extra.

I regularly go to Pattaya for Golf and P4P excursions. Undoubtedly the best value golf for championship grade quality in the world. The mongering as well is obviously very appealing.

What is the best place to go for golf and mongering in the Phillipines as I want a change of scenery.

How does Phillipines stand up against the unquestionable fun of LOS?

Whilst I don't play golf I should like to respond to the "unquestionable" aspect of Thailand mongering. Been there several times but only recently to the Philippines and in my view the latter knocks spots off the former.

In Thailand it is just money but in Phili lots of fun as well. The girls are just nice and great to be with, in my opinion.

I'm not sure on gogos, but certain KTVs offer full nude dancing if I can recall - Stardust, Mystique and Miss Universal.

As for 3 holers, perhaps you need to ask the girls directly about their services...

Are like middle class girls from developed country. If you have the 'resources' to pick up pretty ones in US/Europe, then you will have no problem picking up the same in 3rd world countries. If you're fat and old, then you have no chance

The only difference is the ugly ones in the developed countries usually know their place. The ugly ones in 3rd world think they are special because they're wealthier. I guess the correlation would be ugly filty rich girls from developed countries. These fugly have good looking friends just because, and it's the same in Phil.

Hmm. Have serious disagreement with that. I lived in Alabang, and it doesnt get much richer than that and had about 3 on the go, not including a wife. Someone elses! Who I was lucky to also have on a regular basis. This was several years ago. These were girls from good families. With surnames such as Panlilio, Lhuillier etc. And they were more than happy to date me. Only thing was in general they turned up their nose at going to Anito. They wanted clean white sheets and aircon that worked hahah. But for sure, dating wasnt a problem. Some writers need to check the facts.

Since LOS isn't Thailand for me, I call it Thailand.
I've visited Thailand only a few times in my first year in SEA.
After discovering Indonesia and Philippines I've never been to the Thais anymore.
For me the fun there is very questionable and rather poor compared with Indon and Phils.
But just MHO.

For golf I stay in Malaysia, great courses and reasonable prized.
And I don't like the travelling with all the luggage, clubs shoes etc.

picking up any WG in the province is unusual since the girls have to be concerned about their image. Having everyone know they did a foreigner for a few nights will be rgarded as o.k. since it may be their ticket out, but knowing they got paid would ruin them for future BF etc. That's why many places in the PI are still BYOG.
On the rich filipina comment, they usually have a much more open view and knowledge of the world outside the PI. So, if you can pick up a good lookig, well off chick in the US, you'll be able to find them here as well. They just don't think you're gods gift to them like the poorer ones do. Plus, much less middle class in the PI, especially once you get out of the big cities.
