    Gentlemen and others,

Looks like I'm going to have to fill in a couple of hours between flights, so sinse I have no idear about Manila could anyone give me a clue about MP's near the airport that are open during the middle of the day.

I have read (in another place) that there are establishments on or about Airport Rd.

    Regards

    LA cafe bill padding

BB hits it spot on....I had completely forgotten.

I generally pay for my beer as I get it because 1) I like to wander around 2) I rarely stay for more than a beer or two 3) the waitress can be very slow sometime.

One late afternoon I ordered food and a few drinks for myself and some hanger ons. Sure enough, the bill was padded by about 100 pesos.

Feeling a little guilty about initiating all this talk about the Japanese, here's the reason why I asked: http://manilaktv.7.dtiblog.com/

You obviously need a Japanese enabled browser if you can read Japanese, but if you can't the pictures are self-explanatory.

when the people here start respecting others views and stop acting like they are the only ones that are right, i might also fall into line here.no one guy has all the answers, and what woks for one is not carved in stone for another.rich has no place here and thats a joke so please dont go there.most are average at best on a pension so leave that shit at home.anyone that tells everyone about his money in most cases is not in the "cash".most guys that have some jack will never tell anyone, after all who cares.and another thing why would you want anyone to know you have a dime here?? you can dye for 100 dollers or less here, so keep that shit quiet!!!we are all considered rich here because of where we come from use that to your advantage it's more than enough.why do you think they all want to go with us?and all the info here is helpful, all is important to stay on top of the scamms.

i know s.h. personaly and he would never say anything to disrespect another or start shit.he is a gentlemen in all respects and guys you should listen to his answers he knows.he states the facts and tells things like they are here and out and about.others here that are on lifesupport from whereever are not so up to speed.

SH, several people have been using the appreviation and I wasn't trying to direct any criticism at you. But I do appreciate you taking the time to respond.

As for gaijin, it means outsider / foreigner. For most Japanese, especially those who don't know better, it is neutral and one should not be offended. As you are well aware though, it no longer is neutral for the foreigner who has listend to some moron say "Gaijin not allowed".

And I share your impressions about group solidarity and order -- although those things sometimes have a dark side as well. I guess we can talk about these things more next time I'm in Cebu.

Shall we get back to talking about the Philippines now?

Jap clubs will like to give the impression that westerners "pollute" the women. However, the truth is that the average westerner has a much larger dick then a Japanese man and tends to stretch the vagina. If a Japanese man then fucks her, he wont fee a thing. I base this on the following:

    1) Japenese ALWAYS wear condoms, so they are not very concerned about catching something that a westerner left behind. They are very concerned however about fucking a stretched vagina
    2) Almost every EDSA bar girl will tell you that westerners have much larger dicks then Japenese men. When I ask them how big a Japenese dick is, they show me with their fingers. They must be exagerating as I don't believe an adult dick can be that small, but the point is, it much smaller than mine.
    3) I have been with many girls who have never been with a westerner before. They tend to be very tight indeed! However, on subsequent sessions they are much looser. Once they have taken a large dick, their vaginas have permanently stretched.

And to be honest, I can't blame them. I would not want to bang a girl who fucks 7 ft. basketball players every day. I am not prejudice against basketball players, I just like my pussy nice and tight.

Whenever I visit tourist spots and such, I always see Japanese people traveling in large groups. Rarely do you see them traveling alone. Safety in numbers I suppose, which is smart because it reduces the risk of potential problems. But you get a much more complete experience if you travel alone or with a friend.

You've got that right! In the case of this board, a few people spoil a good thing. Since mongering is mostly an individual sport, people get greedy and don't give a hoot about there fellow board member. Or they are here to play around and cause problems. Whatever the case, I think we all know by now who is sincere and who is not.

Quasarus is correct on a few points. Many years of deflation have lowered costs in Japan and in some cases you might find things cheaper than in the West. I've heard of tiny hotel rooms (in a converted flop house) available for under $30. But, if you need to rent an apartment in Tokyo you will need about $5000 or more just to get the key. Parking places for a car can cost several hundred dollars a month. Nice hotels charge per person -- and charge dearly. Travel and leisure tend to be expensive.

In Tokyo and Osaka you can find all you can drink bars-discos , all night for a flat rate of 25-30 dollars ( yes, all you can drink, everything, all night). The average beer price in a bar is 4-6 dollars. Yes, going to hostess bars is expensive but so is in most Western countries. In Japan you are not likely to get re\iped off like in Soho/London though. Even pfs in Japan can be somehow cheaper than Singapore or Hongong at prices starting from 100 dollars ( ST very ST of course). Sometimes I am amazed of the Manila/Makati prices are they can be even higher than the average entertainment places in Japan.

    J land

Well, I'll start out by saying that a three letter abbreviation for Japanese is racially derogatory. If you have weak typing skills just type J

I don't have much to add to what SH said, but average J. pay is the highest in the world (sometimes depending on exchange rates) and average length of a holiday is rather short. Furthermore, J-land is clearly the most expensive land in the world. What some cheap charlies see as exorbitant is the bargain of a life time for some of the J people. If you have only 3 or 4 days, are you really going to waste time....1) walking to the airport arrivals to save money on taxis 2) chatting up a p4p girl in the hope of getting a GFE (Js don't speak english well, knowing that yen in understood by bargirls) 3) staying at the Swagman, with the racist Aussies (generalization - my bad), when the Diamond Hotel staff will kiss your yellow ass 4) etc.

Beer at a local PI place 30pesos. At high end Manila bars 200pesos. At a low end Japanese bar 250 pesos. You can make the same comparisons to almost anything. That room at the Diamond Hotel is dirt cheap to most Japanese.

Of course, some guys at ISG Phil like to exagerrate the situation. Someone suggested 3X3X3, or 3inch penis, 3min sex, 3000 tip. What a moronic thing to write. 3X might be the number of ladies as I rarely see a J with only one. Also, what kind of moron is going around measuring the penises of J males. I'll assume 3 inch is the soft measurement since putting a cold measure tape up next to my crank would assure a softy.

And it was a J guy who clued me into the cheapy windowless room which is under the stairs at the America Hotel in AC. (never saw him with more than one girl, btw). Generalizing about a race of 127 million people is pretty lame - expecially when the people generalizing don't know the difference betweent the 127 million Js and the 1 billion Chinese (see next paragraph).

Just a bit off the point, but I was in Pattaya sitting at a bar and some fat, drunken Westerner exclaimed, "Look at the bus of fucking Japs", as a tour bus full of Chinese pulled into the Chinese owned hotel. Some of these guys think Hong Kong is in Japan.

And lastly, of course the Japanese have boards like this. I know it's hard to believe, but they have flush toilets too.

Ooops, one more "lastly". Japanese generally try to avoid confrontation or disagreement. Bargaining for discounts, especially in a language they don't know well, is probably unpleasant. I know myself that I've often been unhappy spending time bargaining with Filipinos when I would have much rather just paid a fair price and then gotten on with my holiday. Add that thinking onto the comment SH made about "prices and quality" and it's not to hard to see why they might pay a bit more....just to get on with their terribly short holidays.

    X

Much is arranged by seconds or associates, some of which are Filipino (Byots) pimps etc. Their is a Japiyuki section that has girls for sale to various clubs in japan (ie "contracts") and which clubs in japan employ which girl etc.
Very exclusive, they won't give it up unless your Japanese, I know that Phils NBI gets copies and checks things out for trafficking and missing girls every so often.

Most of the Jap clubs here are VERY exclusive, they generally DO NOT LIKE GAI JIN ie white foreigners around their club and generally will not allow you in, members only and you have to be Nihongo to get it. Manila is more exclusive, if not by flat out barring you they do it by price, so if you walk into some place with beautiful girls, see a lot of Japs and are paying like P200 for a san Mig likely that is what they are doing.
The Nihongo are peculiar, Xman can probably tell you, but they dont like paying cheap for something, they equate expense with quality, so a P25 san mig being sold and consumed for P200 must be better than a P25 san Mig sold and consumed for the same price. Go figure.

In case you are wondering "viginity" prices for the sons of the rising son run US 1000 to 1500 translate it into yen.

One of the girls I ran across in the Phils had worked as a japayuki in a club in Japan on a few 6 month contracts. For each contract, she was paid around US$10000 plus tips, housing and meals. She learned to speak Japanese quite fluently, but ended up not liking them very much so she would just keep doing it for the money. Which she never saved. But that's the culture. She did tell me a few stories about the amounts of money the club patrons spent there. I'm just not remembering how many zeros in those yen...

About the virgins, it's roughly the same pricing for us westerners. While I was in Manila, I was offered teen virgins at 50,000pp each. Of course I passed.
