Hi to all,
Im flying back to PI august 4 and stay first night or first 2 nights in Manila.
I did some search on MP here, but the nearest I found was some MP along airport road starfleet or airforce one, it escaped my name.
Is there any nice MP in ermita area? I stay at Bayview park hotel along manila bay, if its gud I extend if not I move to Kimberly hotel which also looks nice.
After a long flight I liked to have a nice massage (with happy ending) but I dont like to drive so far from the area I stay.
Any PM also welcome. Please advise or give directions. Im not a newbie , but a newbie in nightlife in Ermita and also newbie in MP in that area.
Thanks , I wil post my experience here.
Happy hunting!!!

Anyone else use filipinaheart.com? I just set up an account there...I'll only be in Manila for 1 week, and most of the girls on this site seem to be looking for a serious relationship. I was wondering if anyone had any luck w/ getting a one night stnad with any of these girls.

Posts: 7Ralek ... "3. I have no where to take the girl, since I will be staying at a hotel w/ my family...so what options do I have where I won't have to spend much extra?"
Two options. First, ask the mama-san where is there a cheap short-time hotel. Second, ask a taxicab driver.
If you are at the Edsa Entertainment Complex Center, exit out, turn left, and walk to the corner. From there, you can see a motel-type place called Queensland about 100 meters away and across the street. To the right, across Edsa (a 8-lane street full of traffic and no nearby traffic lights) about 150 meters away, there are five or six short-time motels. The newest is the Sogo Hotel. All of these places charge about 500 peso (about $10) for several hours of use. They have different prices for different types of rooms, but the lowest-priced room, named something like a taxi room) is usually not available in the late evening.
If you are in the Ermita neighborhood, there are cheap hotels around for around $20. Aussies tend to favor those hotels for their visits. Ask the bartender or manager for a recommendation of a short-time room.
If you are in a Burgos club, there are a couple of clubs that have a room in the back or upstairs. They usually charge extra.
If you are in a KTV, you are in the wrong place because the vast majority are more expensive than the three areas mentioned above. By the way, a few KTVs are for family and others to sing together in privacy.
Of course, for afternoon delights, there are massage parlors, where you do not need to go out for a quickie.
Stand In (a substitute for someone else)

Posts: 398Alabang, Manila - Mugging Gang
Just as a Heads Up - there is a gang going around the malls in Alabang looking for foreigners to mug. The technique is to seek out foreigners alone and use a knock out spray on the victim when the victim is alone, before robbing them. Watch carefully for this, especially if you are followed into a CR etc.

I think X Man covered the essential points. Remember though, in the Edsa complex and in the Burgos bars, there are no "normal" girls, and most, if not all, are there for hire. You do not really need to ask "for a girl" and your only problem will be deciding which one or which ones you want. I've run into two "virgins" on Burgos who allegedly don't go with customers. This is a rare exception however.
Remember, that this is a business, and there's little luck or skill involved in purchasing the commodity that's being sold. Tell the girl of your choice that you want to pay her bar fine. She will nod and call over the mamasan, who will take your money. The girl will then disappear for a few minutes to change into street clothes, and off you go. I'm sure that every girl working in every bar in Manila knows all of the short time hotels. If you like whomever you pick up, then get her cell phone number and you can make arrangements directly with her after the first time with no hassles and no barfine.

Posts: 4567just go to the bar. they will come to you. buy a girl a drink and ask questions. you'll learn a lot.
i prefer to make eye contact with whoever attracts my interest. if you need to speed things up, talk to one of the older ladies (mamasan). tell her who you like and she'll call the girl over...sometimes right off the dance stage.
i suppose some guys here will have recommendations for short-time hotels, but again, the ladies will usually know a place. i've never had to do this though.
of course you are advertising yourself as a complete newbie, so they might try to get you to overpay. for short time from firehouse, give her 1000 and if she complains, give her another 500.
btw, the dance shows at makati, burgos (jools and one other place) are quite professional. what do the rest of you guys think? would you take family members to such a show? i think i would, but my family members are realatively open minded.

I will be in Manila on vacation in a couple months. I have a few questions.
1. It will be a family trip...no friends coming with me. Just my, my parents, and my sisters.
Now obviously I can't go to the clubs with them.
So I will be alone. Does this make the whole thing much more difficult?
Will they see me as less approachable since I'm by myself?
2. So I walk into a bar like Firehouse...what exactly do I do, just walk up to a waitress or bartender and say "I'm interested in a girl"?? And if so, do they automatically assume that I mean a prostitute?
3. I have no where to take the girl, since I will be staying at a hotel w/ my family...so what options do I have where I won't have to spend much extra?

Posts: 1194Prov & Guiness:
As I PM'd CL, I NEVER "attacked" him at all and I challenge you two to put up [your evidence] or shut up. Quit instigating flame wars or trying to involve others like CL in your dispute with me (because I called "the Senator" on his racist posts in the Colombia folder).
Trying to start flame wars is all Prov ever does, and why Jackson has not banned him (despite putting him on final warning long ago) is beyond me. Prov is a paradigm of "serial antagonist" and adds absolutely nothing of any value. While I find Dashingdon's racist comments offensive, at least he tries to post some info and photos, unlike Prov who only posts to flame. Guiness has heretofore refrained from shit disturbing so one can hope his post is an isolated incident.
Quit wasting everybody's time as the members come here looking for info on Filipinas, not your stupid little attempt to discredit me for criticizing your Senator.

Posts: 14Del Pilar and whole Ermita area basically
Like GE, I carry cash as needed and leave all other documents like driver's licence, passport, etc in the hotel safe. When in town I walk all over the Ermita area and have had no problem. At night I limit the areas I walk in to Del Pilar, Roxas Boulevard and other thoroughfares that have night life and other tourists. In the mornings just be careful to step over the sleeping kids.
For some reason local Filipino's freak out when I tell them I walk around Ermita. As Xtorted Decay says, they think this place is full of thieves, robbers, muggers, pick pockets, etc.

Posts: 1194CL: I Never Attacked You At All
While PROV & DD ALWAYS seem to post in unison, creating reasonable suspicion they are one and the same, you are credible and I have NEVER made any such accusation against you. You validated that they are separate and I accept that. Guiness is obviously another friend of those two (though he has not previously participated in their joint jihaad against me after pointing out Don's pattern of racist postings-doubt you have ANY interest but I can cut and paste them for you).
I trust you see through their clumsy attempt to create an impression that I have "attacked" you when nothing could be further from the truth. I NEVER suggested you were part of their "circle jerK' and the quote Guiness posted attempting to instigate a dispute between you and I says no such thing. Salamat Kuya.
