Posts: 25First time visitor, worth this hassle?
I booked my flight to Manila for tomorrow (24 hours to cancel), supposed to arrive in Saturday. First timer to Asia. Do you think it's worth going now that it seems it may be more of a hassle with the politicos in town? I don't want to take hours extra to get around, or have all the best girls already taken by various governments.

A few weeks ago I went by car from AC to NAIA around 10:15 am. They had closed down NLEX entrance at Marquee Mall for 30 minutes and did a dry security run. I assumed the dry run was all the way to Manila. After they opened up the entrance it was smooth traffic to Manila. It was Sunday and the driver took the route along the shipyards to Roxas. Traffic was pretty smooth along Roxas to T3.
Last Sunday I went by car again from AC to Pasay City. There was talk of another dry security run but we had left around 1:30 pm and didn't run into any. Took the route along the shipyards again but was re-routed around Roxas at Rizal Park to EDSA. They were doing a security practice there. This part of Roxas will be closed during ASEAN conference.
Both trips were about 2 hours and 15 minutes as most people and trucks stayed of the roads.

I put this message in the Angeles thread but it should get a run in the Manila one too.
There are numerous road closures or restricted access in Manila between Nov 11 - 15. Already traffic is a clusterfuck due to Roxas lanes being closed.

If you plan to visit LA Cafe or any parts of bayside Manila you will find you are restricted in movement.
More importantly, if you are expecting girls to travel from places like Caloocan or Cavite to meet you in Manila, be prepared for them to either not be able to make it or to be very much delayed (ie late).
For those frequenting Manila and Angeles, note the following:
You need to be aware that the whole Clark area will be in some sort of lock-down over the next few days (especially Nov 12-15) when POTUS and other more important dignitaries will be flying in and out.
Note this advisory. There will be more in the next few days.

Zzyzx. Went there at midnight and about 2/3 full, no entrance fee. As you enter all the FLs will be to the close right. There will be about 15 of them and maybe a few more upstairs. They are better looking than the ones in LAC. I looked around the entire club and there were a couple of 8's /9's. Not sure if they were just regular girls or not so I had to find out. Went to a table with two girls who had some beers and soju bottle. They kept looking at their phones. I was confused, they didn't seem interested to talk so maybe they are just normal girls. Went to another table and this time one girl seemed interested. But then her entire group went to a table with Koreans. Alright at this point I am getting annoyed.
Outside I see a bunch of ladyboys who are beautiful and really put 90% of females to shame, but I am scared of penises. They told me they are not allowed inside but I have no idea if this is actually enforced.
Exklusiv. Its one minute away so I walked. It has only maybe 20 people total. Maybe 10 girls sitting on tables by themselves on their phones. Entrance fee is 200 pesos. I walk back to zzyzx.
At zzyzx I decide to just get a FL. She was so bad. Had tons of stretch marks. I went limp. She wanted 3 k blah blah blah I have baby blah blah. At this point I tell her to fuck off and give her the money.
In terms of the quality of the club, its decent. Beers are I think 90 pesos, a shot of hard liquor I think 250. Interior is not that modern or classy, kind of old. They play some strange music sometimes. If you want to go clubbing with friends I would just go to Makati.
What a shameful night.

By the way, if karaoke is your thing and you already have a girl, there is a Family karaoke place across EDSA that is MUCH cheaper and more private.

Hey guys,
My report is on Club Urbanite in Pasay. It has two floors. Supposedly very new, maybe 2 weeks. The mamasan and papasan tried to hustle us every chance they got so YMMV.
First floor:
- empty on a Friday night at 11:30 PM.
- there is a stage that is sandwiched by two rows of seats and tables.
- 40 girls will line up.
- girls are actually very cute. Many had the pale skin Eastern Asian look. All dressed like club goers Vegas, all wore black. But there were no tall, leggy model types.
- 6,000 bar fine for 2 hours.
- 350 for drinks.
- Papasan wanted a 1,000 tip LOL.
- it is an open area and the papasan told me anyone can request music and sing. I didn't stick around the first floor long enough to see if this is true.
Second floor:
- maybe 2-3 customers that I saw.
- entrance fee 1,500.
- this floor had a live band, booths and a few karaoke rooms.
- another set of 40 girls will line up. Similar quality maybe slightly better girls compared to downstairs.
- 4,000 bar fine for 2 hours.
- I think booths are free as long as you pay the entrance fee and bar fine.
- 2,500 per person for 2 hours of karaoke room with unlimited drinks.
- the unlimited drinks consisted of two 750 ML bottles with broken seals LOL. One was soju and the other was some whiskey I forgot. No chasers other than water. Girls with you can order free drinks.
- free peanuts.
- the karaoke room is pretty small. It can barely fit 4 people. Also someone from management just had to come in every 10 minutes to talk about nothing. It was so annoying.
Last but not least, an extra 20% if you use credit card LOL. I'm sure I got hustled at every step of the way. They had a drink menu, but no menu for service options. They probably just made up prices on the fly. However I really liked the interior, was beautiful. Seems like they spent a lot of money on it. Looked like a fancy club, but with much brighter lighting. I'm sure the girls are willing to spend some more time with the right guy.

On the other hand if looking to date normal girls it may work to your advantage. Being with a Philippino looking person they may avoid being perceived as P4 P. Once again money is the king. If they think you are cheap they may shy away from you.
Being with a Caucasian used to be a big ego booster for the girl. Not anymore. Just my 2 cents.

Talking about FL's and SW's, I have had much better luck with Burgos Street "massage girls". I fondly recall my last one, a cute as she could be, barely 18 year old. Great girl / good times. I have never seen a girl like her in LAC.
And lastly this is a "when in Rome" suggestion: don't resist it, unless you can't afford it. A much better selection of girls, quality wise, ARE found in Burgos & EDSA Bars. If you want the sexy girls you will have you put up with the barfine at least until you get to know the girls. Then they will come straight to you bypassing the barfine.

I see myself being in exactly the same situation when I arrive in Manila, late at night, jet-lagged and unsure if I have the energy for a full night of fun. Ideally I would like to find a place for a quick BJ on the premises. But your night of fun sounds better!
