Hit and a miss -- YMMV

I spent the last 4 days of Mar (from Thur. thru Sun) at Pasay area. The malls were closed. Activity was minimal. There were a few opportunities around the bay section towards the carousel at night. I am not here to talk about it.

Given that it was a holy week, I had planned on importing a lady cabanatuan. I had also booked an airbnb in Shore2. A day before I landed ran into another one from Pagadian city and she was wiling to travel too.

Hit: The lady from Cabanatuan showed up. She had asked me for bus and cab charges and I sent her 2000 pesos. She came to the airport to pick me up with some cash on hand to pay for cab. Helped me into the apartment. Overall a very cute girl 28 years of age. I would say she started taking care of me right from the get go. Helped me with local language, water etc. Etc. We really had fun. She gave perfect GFE. Very very good in bed. Talked to me about her life and asked me curious questions on what I do. She would make coffee or tea when I was taking meetings. Wash my clothes (and fold them) , clean the room if it was messy etc. We walked around the pasay area, had food in Lansons, olive garden around that area. She warned me of women stalking us and pointed out women who were FLs in that area. She seemed street smart too. I lost count of how many times we may have f*see*ed. We had some PDAs, some great times at Hardrock, and some nice dances in the bar near Pasay.

Miss: When I was planning the second girl, told the first girl about it. She was upset but okay with it. The second girl wanted me to buy tickets which I did. She asked me for money to buy some outfit and innerwear (she sent me photos of her faded innerwear). This is where I lost my sense. I should have said no. I sent her money. Just before I was boarding flight to Manila, she frantically wanted more money to take a cab from her village to pagadian city airport. Sent her 1000 pesos again. Second mistake. Only when I boarded the flight I realized I was cheated. By the time she was asking me for money to take the cab, her flight was leaving. I knew right then I was cheated! After takeoff, I tried to ping on whatsapp and she was gone.

The first one kept asking me whether the second girl took money and I did not answer that question! I had a hit and a miss. I did not feel the money lost on the second one -- close to $250 on the second including flight charges. The first one made up for it. The first girl wanted to roam around manila, she wanted to eat in good places, try out different cuisines. She was amazing overall. As a gift she wanted me to buy the cheapest laptop which I obliged for 22 K pesos. She wanted my help to setup Java and golang (that I helped). Very interesting experience.

Man forget all the noise. Just let them know you're an American wielding greenbacks and then get ready to start fucking. Bareback!

I have travelled to the Philippines from Manila to Cagayan De Oro (don't ask me why CDO) and when I land people ask where I am from. I think in Manila people see black people who are from the continent of Africa. That's not a desired location. I tell them I am American and they are surprised. Before Obama, people didn't black Americans as "Americans. ".

There are people who prefer white Americans because they perceive them as having higher status. I had a taxi driver ask me "are you a nigger?" he meant Nigerian.
Hi Mate, whilst I'm not a black American, I don't think there's too much to worry about in the Philippines for you guys. I know, and have spoken to a lot of girls, and the subject of race has been risen often. They're not keen on (Asian) Indians, they don't really trust Africans due to their participation in online scams, and as for the Koreans, they take their money and run! I know an Australian Aboriginal guy who goes to Subic frequently and he's the life of the party. The good thing about The Philippines is, you can just be who you are. And if you respect the locals, they'll respect you. Just my observations and I could be wrong Phil.

I've seen a lot of the opposite. I often have to correct pinays who refer to someone or a group as 'Black Americans', we heard them speaking a language from the continent of Africa. There's a mindset with a lot of Filipinos that black means from the US.

As a black man who has been to PI quite a few times, I'd say my stays there have been great experiences overall. Yeah, I've had people be a bit cautious when dealing with me, but once they figured out I was American and / or saw that I was clean, clean-shaved, fit, and generous with money, the game was afoot!

Completely agree here. Don't underestimate how backward southeast asia can be. Racism always has been and will be present for the forseeable future. Koreans are some of the most racist and xenophobic peoples on earth. I am obviously not speaking about each and every korean, but as a society, not as individuals, it is accepted that there is an in peoples and an out peoples, and if you're not korean, you know which one you belong too. Whether or not the discrimination is deserved, this hierarchy is correct, Korean / Japanese, Whites, Blacks, and then Indians and middle easterns.

You will probably have a better time if you are higher up on the totem pole but don't worry, you'll still have a good time as long as the color of your money is blue. Just be generous and don't be an ahole, that should be enough to overcome most prejudices.

Filipinas for the most part aren't picky about race unless the guy gives out major red flag vibes, all they care about is the colour of your money. Sure they'll tell guys what they want to hear when it comes to opinions of other races, but ultimately they'll fuck whoever is paying their going rate. Some girls might be worried about the size of the BBC, other might be excited about it. I've had 18,19 and 20 yo Filipinas tell me about the different races they've fucked ranging from south Asian to East Asian to white all the way to black, all beautiful slim girls that didn't need to step into a single bar to make money.

They were with the ugliest of the uglies when I was there. A 300 pound white woman that they are used to fucking in America would have been an upgrade. LOL.

In the PI both race and nationality go a long way. If you are an American of any color, that will move you up to the front of the line.

Ending my 1-month trip in Manila

Just returned from a one-month trip to the Philippines between February 20 and March 19,2024. Reports are posted in the 3 areas visited: Makati, Angles City and Manila. Please look for my handle under each city to view all reports.

See report #1 in the Makati board.

See report #'s 2-9 in the Angeles City board.

    Report #10 - Manila.

I left Angeles City around noon when my scheduled car service arrived at Score Birds Hotel. Checked into the New Coast Hotel a little before 2:00 pm for the night. I like this hotel, upscale, modern, and clean. Plus, it's about one block from Midnight Heaven Cafe (formerly LA Cafe), which was the reason I selected it. I took a trip to the Manila hard Rock Cafe to buy shot glasses and T-shirts, plus grab a glass of a local craft beer. Then back to the hotel to grab a shower and head over to the cafe to scope the freelancer scene.

I grabbed a bite and a drink at the cafe and settled in to chat up potential opportunities. After about 20 minutes, I connected with Jen; 27 years old, 2 babies, 4'10" and a decent thin body. Now I will admit I failed to observe a critical rule: Always FULLY negotiate before you get naked. I forgot to clearly specify certain issues, like where I would finish until I was ready to, um. Finish. That increased the total cost from 5,000 p to 7,000 p. Not a life changing issue. Maybe $40 US more than I originally agreed to. But I was way under budget for the one-month trip so just a minor annoyance, really.

I finished in my desired location and we both cleaned up in the shower. She slipped the door and I went to sleep, needing to be up at 6:00 am to checkout and head to the airport for my flight home.
