T3 is far far better than T1, I use it a lot and fly both domestically and internationally monthly.

Last week none of the walkway's were working and the Emirates check girl was moaning about them and T3 in general but admitted she preferred T3 to T1. Even the cabin crew said the same but sad also they were ashamed of both terminals.

There is an elevator which I use at times but depending on the time can busy and it is slow but useful if you have lots of bags (and time).

Now the taxi scams. Yes the white ones (fixed fare Makati is PHP 440 to Burgos area) also are scammers as some hang in the queue and you think they are fixed fare but are not. I was asked as you were noted the fare as PHP 440 and was immediately asked to go to the front of the queue LOL There I complained and the guy said "say it to the policeman on duty" - so I did and pointed out the people.

Tourism is supposed be targeted as a key revenue source but the persistent scams on tourists will not help the image nor will T1 etc being voted in the world's worst airports continually (unlikely to stop IMHO for many years due to the slowness and incompetence of those in charge) - for comparison, Emirates T3 was constructed in about 24 months and is really very nice, very efficient, clean and the air cons work LOL.

And while T3 is not great it is miles better than T1 and is cooler than T1 but I don't think the air cons are working properly. But in the Philippines we must be thankful for small mercies.

I'm flying in on ANA, what terminal that that usually arrive in? Will customs drag on for hours or is it quick. I have a DIA cutie that's been verified of FB that will come pick me up at airport, buy me a SIM card and go have Japanese food after arrival set up already. Should I be wary of anything else that may happen with this young lady? LOL.

There are low cost flights between Zamboanga (which incidentally has a majority Christian population) and Manila. You could always buy her a ticket, charged to a credit card, for her to join you in Manila. If the ticket is charged to a card, she can't turn it into cash.

I was in T3 to catch an AirAsia flight. Surprise! It's at T4. The same flight two months earlier was at T3.

Sure about that? AA was at T3? Actually that would be the surprise to me. For an AA flight I'd go to T4 without thinking.

I didn't know they had Uber in Manila, interesting but in any event to cut down on taxi wait times to 0. I just go up the stairs to the departure drive and pick up a city cab dropping people off. No line and they don't have to wait either.

This is not always true, and they seem to pop up at the worst times. I was in T3 to catch an AirAsia flight. Surprise! It's at T4. (The same flight two months earlier was at T3. No signs by AirAsia telling passengers to go to T4; a helpful passenger info agent called AirAsia and found out where the flight was boarding.) Went outside to the departure's taxi queue and there had to be 40 people waiting - it was an early afternoon flight. I was in a rush so I walked away from the queue to where taxi passengers were exiting the cabs, made eye contact with a driver who motioned for me to get in, and away we went. I dislike jumping the queue but in this case I was left no alternative.

First of all do not think about what you should pay. Meet them, have fun with them and see. Grade the service on a scale and pay accordingly. Some are really sweet and I would hate to short change them. Some are mechanical and I would pay 1000 pesos. Some are mercenary and demand money. For these girls it is better to negotiate and agree on a amount before you touch them. If agreed pay the agreed amount and if not come to an agreement just give her taxi money and let her go.

Some members may disagree with me saying never negotiate the fee. But you will save yourself lot of headache if not agreed before the act with some girls. I remember with one girl whose pussy had a smell and I told her I am not in the mood and tried to get rid of her. She did demand 1500 pesos. Ultimately agreed to pay her 1000 pesos. I do not want any drama calling the security etc. You win some and you loose some.

In general most of the DIA girls I have been with are nice and some are absolute GFE and in rare cases few did not want to accept money. However I have put money in their purse in spite of their protest saying it is for her to buy something as a gift from me.

My advice is be generous and treat them nice.

Regarding the elevator you talk about it had some big signs saying "out of order"(ofcourse). But one of these days I hope meeting a T3 where most of the stuff and staff are working. It is actually just humoristic.

That is a new one on me but I have had it that the queue for the lifts stretched back to nearly the start of the escalator.

It is still better than T1 which I why I keep my sanity when I use that terminal and I use it a lot.

For it is a breathe of fresh air compared with T1 so be thankful for small mercies I say.

And yes we will be old and senile before any terminal in Manila runs like BKK, HK, Singapore etc.
