i can confirm it. some girls, especially those from the province, will even be happy with 500 p a day above and beyond what you spend for food, drinks, etc. think about it this way: the daily wage is about one third of what you would pay them (based on 1 k) and they don't have to actually do any work. they also get to eat well, stay in a comfortable room with air-con and hot water, watch tv and play on the internet whenever they want. in addition, having a foreign "bf" will often elevate their status among their peer group and get them out of doing any chores around their own house or relieve the boredom of staying in a dorm room that's about size of a broom closet.
