Prostitution is technically illegal in PI. However, it is tolerated in the right areas and situation. Pay for a hooker online and no one will bat an eyelid. Offering a girl cash for a quicky in a high end mall has seen many guys get in to serious trouble.

Being upfront and honest is a good plan. She can then decide whether to move on or meet for coffee or come to your room "as friends".
