A bad night at the office. Keen to hear some thoughts on whether I was right or wrong.

Not sure if this is even the right content for this forum given what it is geared towards but I will post anyway and if you feel it's not suitable as it's not technically mongering (but is related) please let me know and I'll refrain from posting similar.

TL; DR. Met girl on Wednesday night in Secret Door, took her number, went out today, spent a lot on food+drink, came to realisation she's almost defo a hooker. Asked her about it, she got upset, now 5000 pesos down and feeling like a f*cking moron.

For some background, I have banged 3 girls since being in Manila, all met via Tinder and paid very, very little in terms of a couple of (non-lady) drinks or some food. Like 1000 pesos or less on a quick date then back to the bedroom. Then today I lost my mind and paid 5000+ to bang nothing.

On Wednesday night I wasn't feeling in the mood for a date and decided to hit the streets alone to get drunk. Ended up meeting a bunch of people (guys + gals) including 2 local girls, neither of whom looked or acted like hookers in my limited experience, just seemed like two genuine girls out on their day off. One of them is 10000% not a hooker, obviously I ended up cracking on with the other one. Got on really well with both, took the number of the one I spoke to the most as the other had a boyfriend. We partied from probably 2 am-8 am and at no point did either of them try and come onto someone or make any moves like they were a hooker. The bar we were in does not seem to have working girls either.

Today (Thursday) rolls around and she messages asking how I'm doing, some brief small talk and she says she's going to the movies with the same friend and I'm welcome to tag along. Again, I had no plans for Thursday night as a Tinder date fell through so decided to go for it. I insisted on paying for their movie tickets because I was grateful they invited me, they tried to pay but I refused (dumbass).

Finish the movie, I said lets go for some drinks. I was starting to really like the one girl and was getting some slight flirting from her, thought I was in and decided to hang around. Anyway some drinks turned into a lot, I spent probably 5000 pesos maybe more including the cinema tickets, we kept ordering drinks and shisha and I couldn't bring myself to ask them to pay for them, they paid for maybe 2 rounds in fairness.

Maybe it was the drink or maybe I was right but all of a sudden it hit me.

This girl has a whatsapp pic of her in laungerie, a WhatsApp business account (under the label nail salon), she seems to know SO many people in the bars but says she doesn't drink often, our conversation's weren't flowing as naturally as hers were with other people yet she still seemed interested in me.

I came to the conclusion she was a hooker. I decided I was done paying for drinks on top of potentially paying for sex and felt annoyed she hadn't mentioned she was a brass beforehand so wasn't even going to consider paying her for sex on principle (LOL). I made some weak excuse and left the bar to go home feeling like an idiot.

About an hour later the curiosity got the better of me and I decided to WhatsApp her and ask if she was a hooker which she did not take kindly to and said things such as 'you think you're such a high and mighty foreigner', 'I really liked you' 'I feel sad now that you felt this way', 'I have my own money' blah blah. She sent me a TONNE of pictures falling into the following two categories: nail related pics such as her working in a salon, finished nails etc. Then pics of her basically flexing cash like you see rappers do with big bundles of 1000 peso notes to prove she has her own money.

All the sh*t a hooker would probably say but I don't know. I hung out with her for like 6+ hours the first night with 0 hint she was a hooker or her coming onto me, and even second night she never really did anything to confirm she is. So I actually do not know if I made the right call or not. I did like her, she is very cute and quite subtly sexy but I've blown that one now.

Either way, I spent 5000+ pesos to have 0 sex.

I'll chalk it up to being young and f*cking retarded. Next time I'll just bang a fucking brass before I pay 5000+ pesos on drinks.
