This lead to an immediate spike in prices and drop in performance. From memory, lookers were seeking 3500 often for ST and the run of the mill were 2-2500. As I said, I found the freelance / online scene much better and just drank and watched eye candy when actually in the bars.

This may be old info though as it's been a long time since I was in Bario.

Thanks for clearing that up. Yeah, I heard that prices had shot up to the moon back in February. What things will be like post Corona is speculative. Bario Barretto used to be a funky, low key honky tonk bar scene. I hope it can survive.

What is this "No barfine" policy? Does it mean no takeout? Or does it mean you pay the girl outside the bar? I heard barfines (EWR's) were getting expensive in Bario Barretto, but no barfines would be absurd.

I had a good time in subic last time I was there (a while ago now, just after they introduced the absurd 'no barfines' policy) but I was mostly dealing with freelancers. I just used the bars as watering holes and meeting places.

I like Subic as much as anybody because it offers a pleasant diversion from AC and it comes with an ocean breeze, but no takeout would destroy the reason d'etre for going there. There are a number of really beautiful, clear, clean water, BYO beaches in the PI. The Baloy beach sucks except at a distance. I wouldn't walk that beach barefoot. LOL.

In case any questions arise (MGCQ = Modified General Community Quarantine) the last step before new normal. It could go back at any time but for now the bars are allowed to open at 50% capacity. Girl bars are also open but without dancers all are waitresses now. Recon mission shows as follows, if I missed someone I apologize just relaying intel.

So I thought I should check out Tripadvisor reviews about this new hotel. Clearly there are some families booking there who were surprised at the neighbourhood and some of the activities in the hotel. I am curious about one comment: " I might have been brought up too confined but I certainly have never seen a "Bed time stories seller people and red light district." Anybody have any insight into bed time stories sellers? I think this is something every hotel should offer!

Depents on the girl and the bar very much. Some girls have kids at home = ST.

Some are 18 or 19 and the parents expect them to be home at 12 = ST.

Others stay with you until afternoon.

I try to resist the ST for 3000 girls no matter how good they look because it sets a reference for all the other girls.

And usually the ST girls are much less into it. Never the less I also had good ST with girls that stayed from 18-24 with bar hopping and 2-3 pops.

Prices are 2500-3000. No matter if short or long term.

Stayed for two days, bars / clubs are not so close to each other like AC. But girls were showing better attitude.

Had two sessions with two different ladies. My trip was se time ago, and Cheep Charlie's waa a great place. Picked up a lady and it was okey okey experience.
