The last thing a wealthy Filipino family with a good reputation wants to see is their daughter parading an elderly sex tourist around town. None of them will be happy to become the subject of gossip because an old sex monger is rooting their daughter in all her holes in hotels. They do not need the money, and certainly do not want the disgrace that sort of activity brings to the family.

Every Filipino knows that a single foreign man in the 50-70 age bracket staying in three star hotels around the country is a sex tourist. They will be polite and ask you what your job is and how your vacation is going. You will not be fooling anyone when you say you are here in country for sight seeing, diving or for charity work. They will also not believe you when you say you are doing import-export business in the Philippines and came to meet some customers. The only importing you may be doing is baby batter from the USA and the only exporting you will be doing is sending over a 20 year old, illiterate, innumerate LBFM with crooked teeth back to your trailer park in Sioux City, Iowa. They all know you are here to fuck nubile young chicks who are about 30-50 years younger than you.

It is in this context that CM is saying that a middle class girl would not be seen dead with an elderly sex pest. Nothing good could possibly come of it.

Thanks to you and Beavis for presenting this alternative point of view. I have no problems with guys who come here to monger, and I've been there and done that.....

When I am dealing with the pro's I expect pro treatment. Good skills from experience but only in it for the money, no after climax cuddling, no connection with the girl just service for cash. She will want to spend the minimum time servicing for the maximum reward. Even if she gives a real GFE I recognize that it is what I saw on another board in the US a long time ago as refereed to as IOL Illusion of Love. I recognize and understand that completely.

It is not what I usually want, I want a real connection with a girl that has real feelings for me, yes the "taxi money" plays a part in it but she actually wants to be with me not just to leave with the money.

The pro's are a small minority of the women out there. I have seen estimates of about 500,000 sex workers in the Philippines, that is I believe high for the numbers of real pro's out there. Even that is less than 1% of all women of fuckable age in the country. (and that number will include male hookers and lady-boys too I believe.).

I look for "real girls" they are looking for a relationship, open to having some mutual fun and they can be very enjoyable to be with even with clothes on.

Yes there are lots of scams but the higher you go on the social economic ladder the fewer there are, eventually you get people who are more concerned that you are the scammer and these people would never think of scamming you.

I always found it interesting that the truly wealthy in Asia were great people. We wanted nothing from them and they knew there was nothing we could do to improve their lot in life.

It was the wannabees that were a true PITA always trying to find an angle on getting something from you or ignoring you when they determined that they wouldn't be receiving some type of benefit.

Of course, those in positions of power recognized this and loved to play with it. We had one friend who amongst many other businesses had a film production house. She would warn us to watch this then take delight in torturing young and up coming models and actresses that would praise her with false pleasantries and compliments with the sole aim of asking if a particular leading role or presenter position had been filled. Mean while we would be talking about kids homework, up coming birthday parties and the like.

Thanks to you and Beavis for presenting this alternative point of view. I have no problems with guys who come here to monger, and I've been there and done that throughout SE Asia, much of Africa and a bit in E. Europe and S. America. But even then I knew there was more to the countries than the bed-level view I was seeing and experiencing. I'm guessing that some of us have been lucky. Enough to have lived and worked in countries other than our own, and have thus perhaps developed, if not broader, then surely different perspectives.

Most of these people have never spent more than a week or 2 out of their own element. Not too many professionals of outside culture on a mongering forum. I sold everything I had at reduced prices and moved here with 2 suitcases. The only thing I would have done differently is brought a couple more pairs of shoes.

Most of my long-term expat friends here are married to "decent," educated, thoroughly middle class Filipinas and most have been married happily for years. Perhaps if you tried a bit harder to raise your sights slightly above the bar girls, massage parlors and online "dating" services, and actually tried to learn just a little bit about Philippine society you would become somewhat better informed. I understand that your major ambition here seems to be to derogate everything associated with the country, but there really are lots of us who like the place.

Educated, middle class Filipinas from good families would not be seen dead with a foreign monger. The same goes for any other Asian nationality (there are some exceptions). The dream of middle and upper middles class Pinays is to marry an upwardly mobile doctor, lawyer or business executive from their own country to gain social status. Rich Filipinos do not need to migrate to California as they can have everything they want in their home country. They know that in California, life is not so sweet as they themselves have to cook, clean, wipe their babies' asses and run errands. The chances of having an army of maids are limited and they have to re-establish their social networks.

It's only the poor and less well educated Filipinas who want to marry a foreign monger for financial security and migration benefits. Escaping their tin shed in some rural town to go to the USA is their dream. They love showing off their loot on IG to their envious peasant friends back home. They might only have 98 followers, but act as if they are a huge influencer in IG land. Some of it is cringeworthy.

Before Mr. E comes back with the fact he is banging a Thai university professor for free, let me tell you that she has done her homework. She does not stand to lose too much in being seen with an American monger, but everything to gain by getting a residency permit in a foreign country.

+1. While there certainly are the bargirls_done_good of my original post, there are also girls for whom partnering a foreigner is seen by her friends and family as a significant step down from her normal social circle. In essence it's the foreigner who must prove that himself, not the girl.

While we all enjoy reading and writing about mongering and bar girls, to assume that that covers the whole country or region is crazy. Just because someone isn't the target market of this forum doesn't mean that they don't exist.

It's either BS or the OP needs to take a serious look at his girl friend.

No decent Pina would be caught dead in a girly bar let alone an AC gogo. I can guarantee if she was in one then she would be out the door the moment she was insulted with the suggestion that she might like to be a hooker.

Bar Managers, Mamasans and the like develop a 6th sense on who has been in or could be brought into the business. If she has been asked twice in different venues then alarm bells should be ringing. Sorry but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's not a chicken.

Here's an easy test. Take her to a mixed gathering with wives and girls friends from all walks of life. If she's approached by and can only hold a conversation with current and past WGs then case closed. If the good girls are happy to talk to and be seen socializing with her then you have no problems.
