What is it with PI LB's that they have no compunction regarding hiding the fact that they are LB's? I've known it to happen a few times in PI, but never heard of it in Thailand.

It may seem odd that a Filipino would be the one asking here. But, I do not know much about places in PH other than the ones I live / have lived in. I prefer touring and mongering in other countries. However, due to the covid-19 scare, I decided to spend my vacation within the country as to avoid trouble.

Thanks for the advice. As business has been pretty good this year, the wife was agreeable to me having two SEA trips this year. She has since decided that she doesn't fancy the idea of paying two lots of airfares, so she told me to have one four week trip. I've since managed to parlay that into 32 days as follows. I've booked a hotel about a mile away from the main group, and I am on Dinwid beach. Anyone with input for that area, I'd be delighted to hear from you.

Take off is Mar 15th, and I will get back to all and sundry shortly afterwards.

Book the Emirates flight DUB. DXB - CEB. CRK. This gives you a flight with lots of options. Maybe you want to arrive in Cebu a week before the wedding to get over the jetlag because at your age I'm sure you want to arrive to the wedding feeling fresh. Maybe just hit Boracay a day before the wedding after you "missed" your previous planned flight. Then your "holiday" just a few days can be after the wedding.

Maybe: have a stopover in Dubai for two days to play there.

Have a week in and around Cebu, Mactan and play there, get over the jetlag and clean out the pipes.

Go to wedding.

Go to AC and stay in a resort hotel away from Walking St and Macarthur Hwy. Take a daily ride to Walking St to pick a girl. Use Pinalove for a cutie.

I'm not a bar goer either, so I have no direct experience to report, but it doesn't take much of a leap of imagination to think that the same fears are reducing attendance there.

No direct virus activity, it is all in the lack of visitors and tourists that cannot / will not travel.
