I used to scold people for this kind of empty post, but it just makes me more enemies. So, I will bend over backwards. The poster is asking about a city just to the south of the very beautiful Mayon Mtn, or Volcano. I have a few pictures of this mountain taken way back in 1980 that were published. And the Japanese need to back off when bragging about their UNIQUE cone shaped mtn. Fuji doens't even smoke!

As for "experience in this area" I once had a tribe of head hunters chase me up and down the mountain. I was pretty quick on my feet in those days and despite being chased to death I managed to shag about half of the local young gals, and some of their mothers too. Of course that was in 1946, so things have changed since then.

Well thank you for your "experience in this area!" I will have to stay away from the tribes. I was unaware when I posted that I was being so obtuse. What I should have asked was, since I have read many stories of triumph in different areas of the country, such as Manila and Cebu, and I have been unlucky to find any post about other monger's conquest in the little sleepy town of Legazpi City, and was wondering if there was any action to be found there? I would also like to know Is there an area such as the EDSA Entertainment Complex in this town?

I also would like to thank you, X Man, for the geography lesson. The main purpose of my trip is to see Mt Mayon up close and see for myself the wonders it holds. But when I am not brushing up on my geography and history, I like to participate in a little adventure I believe everyone who uses this site enjoys. So with that said, anyone else's experiences in this area would be greatly welcomed!

Never been there, but have considered it a few times. If interested in architecture, I believe there are some old mansion / museums in Silay, not far to the north.

The Bacolod / Silay airport is fairly new and has flights to Cebu City.

Sipilay to the south seems to be the place with best beaches on that side of the island. Of course Dumaguete and Apo Island are worth a visit on the opposite side (Negros Oriental). If you aren't into roughing it on the buses or van transports, talk to the taxi driver from the airport. Get his number.

Only two days? And your point of entry and exit is Manila? How long is the total trip? I think you'll get better information if you give us more information. Also, Thorn Tree of Lonely planet is good for detailed travel information about obscure places. X.

Looks like short cheap flights from Manila and google maps shows a few "beach resorts" there, but that could mean anything from a 5 star hotel on a pristine beach to a folding chair next to a sewer outlet. Anybody been there recently? Is it worth the trip? For more than the girl I mean, because otherwise I'll just tell her to be in Manila when I arrive if she wants to see me.

Excellent advice. A few years ago I plucked a diminutive lady out of LA Cafe who reported recently returning from Boracay. The guy had wanted to spend time swimming at the beach and getting out and about. She wasn't interested. Soon she was bored just hanging out in the cabin or hotel room and begged to fly back early. He paid extra to change her ticket and stayed a couple more days without her. She'd been bright and bubbly at the bar when she was looking to score a customer, but after spending an hour with her alone I knew she was not somebody I would have wanted to take to Boracay. Do your homework before heading off to the romantic getaway.

DIA is one option. Been there done that.

I can suggest all kinds of alternatives for TitMouse, but a paid site could also be an option if you want a chance for better quality. Cherry blossom or Filipina heart?

My personal advice would be to skip Borocay. I've been there too, done that, probably won't go back.

Lots of these tickets are non-refundable. You can change the ticket to another person name and it might cost you some money to do it. Make sure you show them documents and prove that you paid for the ticket.

You can meet many girls in Manila and make a deal with them. Better make a deal with MBC girl. EDSA girls will definitely ask you to pay barfine for every day unless you can convince otherwise. They do not want to loose their only source of income. MBC girls may not be totally GFE as you envisioned going to Boracay with a normal girl. All mongers should never make plans for a romantic trip without meeting the girl, spending time with her etc.

I assume you are connecting from somewhere else in PI, probably Manila, right? If so, you can just stop by EDSA or MBC and find someone to accompany you with very little notice. How long is your trip?

You are correct, Cocomangoes. Really the only place. Any trike driver can take you there.

Some info shortly from El Nido (Palawan) , was there in July 2011.

In El Nido you can find one disco called Asylum which is everyday full of local people and some western. About 20 girls working in the bar (serving drinks and chatting with customers) , you can barfine anyone of them and the price is usually 2000 peso / night (1500 girl / 500 bar). Some girls might ask more. 2500-3000 peso but you can discuss the price. Asylum is open 8pm. 2am, first couple of hours karaoke and then disco. It's more like a normal disco, not gogo place but yeah, you can barfine the bar girls. Couple of stunning girls working there.

On both of my last trips to Boracay I took a couple of girls from Cebu so wasn't on the lookout. My impression was that there were a few girls who were potentially available, however they were mixing in with the crowds so it wasn't especially obvious who was and who wasn't available. As a rule of thumb limited supply (for most girls its too expensive a place to hang out) and high demand from guys who have gone there without a partner leads to high prices and indifferent quality. If you can sort out your existing date or find another (should be an easy sell, the issue is to be comfortable re compatibility.) , it would be much better.
