At Goffering, at Mogwai, at Westcoast.
Thanks to all of you for your input.
I wasn't necessarily thinking of going online. I am not averse to P4P. I am a great believer in the saying, "I don't pay them to stay. I pay them to leave".
I was more interested in going to a pleasant environment where I don't have to worry about choking to death on carbon monoxide, and have plenty of choice of company away from friends and family.
I've been reading up on my options. Laos and V / and seem to present problems with taking girls back to hotels. I don't like ST. I can't see that KL or Jakarta are that attractive. Cambodia gets worse every time I go there (too much Yaba I think) I like Thailand, but Pattaya, my favourite, is rapidly becoming a shadow of its former self. As I pointed out, if I go for the wedding, that's my holiday gone for this year.
Anyway, I'm not making my mind up just yet, but under the circumstances, PI is a bot more appealing now that I have heard all your wise.
Whatever I do, I promise a TR.
Best wishes.

The pecking order is:
We Chat, lots of ladyboys but some diamonds in the rough.
PinaLove, lots available to drop around now. Some quite attractive.
FilipinoCupid, similar to PL but more employed or in school so they may not be able to meet now. Often they will be ok with after work or school.
All the above are fair priced.
Tinder, some very attractive and professional girls.
Seeking Arrangement, similar to Tinder but can be well educated and looking for a longer term Sugar Daddy situation. Many are ok with overnight only and make a great "date night".
Those above know their worth and charge accordingly and may not even go if they don't like the guy.
It's always more productive to make contact when you are actually in town. The girls hear "I'm coming next month" a million times.
Enjoy. G.

Regarding your questions, I think very highly of my nephew, but I didn't choose the location. Had it been almost anywhere but PI, I would have booked my ticket by now. He is marrying a UK born half-Filipina. My wife doesn't like travelling except when she goes home. Age has caught up with her. Also, she doesn't like SEA.

Why are you going to a place and event that you don't enjoy for a family wedding yet your wife can get out of it? Presumably its family that is closer to her and you can just beg off and go when and where it better suits you.
Everyone's taste is different but if you can't find what you want online in Cebu perhaps retire and join the monks. 😁 Cebu has to be the online dating capital of PI.
Enjoy. G.

My thinking was that if I did go, perhaps to have 2-4 days in Boracay, and spend the rest of the trip elsewhere. As I've said, I've been to AC, and hated the constant smell of exhaust fumes. I can only imagine that Manila will be worse. Again, my thinking is that there is no shortage of prospects on DIA in Cebu, and I was hoping that someone could either put me right about this. Or suggest an alternative.
Best wishes.

BYO is not really an option for me, as someone in my family is bound to say something to my wife (who is not going). I'm sure she knows what goes on with my trips to SEA, but as long as she doesn't have to talk about it, she appears happy to be ignorant. OTOH, if I go to the wedding, and I behave myself, she will not be happy when I tell her that I need a "proper holiday". I can imagine the convo now: But you've only just come back from the Philippines". I don't think it will go down too well if I tell her, "Yes, but it was not my 'usual' holiday". Hmmm?
My thoughts are that if I go, perhaps try Cebu where there appear to be shortage of prospects based on DIA, with a couple of nights abstinence in Boracay. Before going back to Cebu.
Any thoughts from yourself or others?

Maybe you should get out of your narrow view. I mean Thailand and Philippines trips give you a very narrow view of the world. I don't know maybe these 3rd world countries and their thinking sits well with you and your views.

If you followed the google link or if, heaven forbid, you would know that Saint Fernando was a big wheel in Spain and therefore it is logical many places would be named in his honour, Here is a link on Saint Fernando, Ferdinand 111 of Castille https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferdinand_III_of_Castile You ask, in your supremacist way, why does the Philippines have to be so confusing. The Philippines is not the problem. Your ignorance and laziness are the problem.
