Can someone please tell me what DIA stands for in this countries blog. I keep seeing it posted in many blogs. Headed over to Cebu then on to Palawan island in November but first a stop in Colombia next week. My favorite mongering grounds.

BYO is not really an option for me, as someone in my family is bound to say something to my wife (who is not going). I'm sure she knows what goes on with my trips to SEA, but as long as she doesn't have to talk about it, she appears happy to be ignorant. OTOH, if I go to the wedding, and I behave myself, she will not be happy when I tell her that I need a "proper holiday". I can imagine the convo now: But you've only just come back from the Philippines". I don't think it will go down too well if I tell her, "Yes, but it was not my 'usual' holiday". Hmmm?

You appear to be experienced at this. For my ideas from Dublin.

Book the Emirates flight DUB. DXB - CEB. CRK. This gives you a flight with lots of options. Maybe you want to arrive in Cebu a week before the wedding to get over the jetlag because at your age I'm sure you want to arrive to the wedding feeling fresh. Maybe just hit Boracay a day before the wedding after you "missed" your previous planned flight. Then your "holiday" just a few days can be after the wedding.

Maybe: have a stopover in Dubai for two days to play there.

Have a week in and around Cebu, Mactan and play there, get over the jetlag and clean out the pipes.

Go to wedding.

Go to AC and stay in a resort hotel away from Walking St and Macarthur Hwy. Take a daily ride to Walking St to pick a girl. Use Pinalove for a cutie.

Ángeles now is crappy and Manila isn't much better! I will never go back to those two places! My first night in Cebu City I got in late so wasn't the best find! But tonight while I was waiting for Hive to open up which was previously J. Ave. I found a sweet little spinner for 1500 short time, no baby, super GFE, and tight as a drum! I haven't felt this good in AC for over a year! Lots of people are willing to help you here in Cebu City! You couldn't pay me to ever go to Angeles again!

Tomorrow I will checkout Mermaid which is close to the airport that is apparently better Oqtagon. I also heard about a place called Majesty close to Alaya which is more like a brothel style for 4000 longtime until 5 am.

I know why there is no Cebu section, because if there was nobody would ever go to Manila or Angeles!

Correct. Plus spring for the paid membership. $20 removes all the unpaid member restrictions, makes messaging much easier and the girls can see that you are not a Cheap Charlie.

I wasn't necessarily thinking of going online. I am not averse to P4P. I am a great believer in the saying, "I don't pay them to stay. I pay them to leave".

I was more interested in going to a pleasant environment where I don't have to worry about choking to death on carbon monoxide, and have plenty of choice of company away from friends and family.

I've been reading up on my options. Laos and V / and seem to present problems with taking girls back to hotels. I don't like ST. I can't see that KL or Jakarta are that attractive. Cambodia gets worse every time I go there (too much Yaba I think) I like Thailand, but Pattaya, my favourite, is rapidly becoming a shadow of its former self. As I pointed out, if I go for the wedding, that's my holiday gone for this year.

Anyway, I'm not making my mind up just yet, but under the circumstances, PI is a bot more appealing now that I have heard all your wise.

Whatever I do, I promise a TR.

The pecking order is:

We Chat, lots of ladyboys but some diamonds in the rough.

PinaLove, lots available to drop around now. Some quite attractive.

FilipinoCupid, similar to PL but more employed or in school so they may not be able to meet now. Often they will be ok with after work or school.

All the above are fair priced.

Tinder, some very attractive and professional girls.

Yep. Download and make an account on WeChat (or other similar) messaging app. In the app, find the 'Locate near me' function. It will locate people online in WeChat near you, starting with those closest to you at the moment (its shows distance from you in meters), and you can stipulate Male or Female only. Sometimes there are other users online just meters from you. Sometimes you don't need to contact anyone, others will contact you. So many girls looking to give a 'massage' or other. Regarding your questions, I think very highly of my nephew, but I didn't choose the location. Had it been almost anywhere but PI, I would have booked my ticket by now. He is marrying a UK born half-Filipina. My wife doesn't like travelling except when she goes home. Age has caught up with her. Also, she doesn't like SEA.

I'm supposed to be attending a family wedding in Boracay in March. Not really looking forward to it.

My thoughts are that if I go, perhaps try Cebu where there appear to be shortage of prospects based on DIA, with a couple of nights abstinence in Boracay. Before going back to Cebu.

Any thoughts from yourself or others?

Is Boracay that devoid of talent?

Thanks for your reply. I was actually picking up on the comment about "BYO", in the post I was replying to. That suggests to me that it may indeed be devoid of talent. Then of course, there is the problem that that any talent scouting I might get involved in locally, is likely to reach the ears of my wife because of the family members in the vicinity.

My thinking was that if I did go, perhaps to have 2-4 days in Boracay, and spend the rest of the trip elsewhere. As I've said, I've been to AC, and hated the constant smell of exhaust fumes. I can only imagine that Manila will be worse. Again, my thinking is that there is no shortage of prospects on DIA in Cebu, and I was hoping that someone could either put me right about this. Or suggest an alternative.

Obviously flying in and out of Manila. Can't you arrive a few days before and leave a few days later to get some activities in. I'm sure there are some members of your "family" who would like you to stay a bit longer after the Wedding to say er help paint the house or something. Is Boracay that devoid of talent? Couldn't you just get the dates wrong when you booked. ?
