I know clinics in Manila, having processed paperwork for employing filipiino staff in Singapore, where Hep and HIV is done within 15 minutes - I thought it takes more time to print the report.

BTW, here, we don't bother, because upon arrival, Singapore immigration does put them through another round of medical at a Singapore Clinic, and does not give two hoots about the Filipino testing.

I guess you could have been negative when you applied and then positive later when you joined the USA. That is possible. The time between infection and the appearance of the symptoms, (the incubation period), is between two and six weeks and the average incubation period is 28 days. But that is HIGHLY unlikely as it takes well over six weeks to get the Visa application processed.

I guess a bribe is also possible, but that would go down at the US consulate in Manila, and those dudes are not into that...that would be waaaaaayyy too much money for a pinay.

Get a Hep B shot and keep on riding her.

Hey Surf, hows it goin? Nice to see you back.

Surf there's been a few rumors goin around that you got yourself hitched to a flip, for the second time, apparently. And also that she was a dancer in AC before you guys tied the knot. Reason I ask is that a guy I know in S California married a flip thinking that she was a regular girl, and now he finds out that she's got Hep B and that her sister worked in AC. So now he's worried. Big age difference too which adds fuel. Right now, he's torn over whether to send her back to the PI or what to do. He treated her real good too but she's on the single web sites chatting and stuff. Cheating little ho. I hope you don't have the same situation.

Thanks for that info. Was the pic the hotel on Cebu or down near White beach?

It looks fabulous. But I need or have to have wifi for my work, I want to work in my air con bungalow or on my private patio.

Is Alegre on Mactan, or Cebu itself? Thanks and good to see you here.

If you can afford it, Allegre Beach Resort Has it All

A bit over an hour North of the airport in the hotel van (free), Allegre has plush, separate bungalows (2 unites to a building and so far from reception you take a golf cart!). The rooms are 5 start with all the modern amenities. The resort also has the best beach on Cebu Island which is at bottom of a cliff and access strictly for guests only (pic below). I'm sure a few girls could be rounded up in town, but if you want big neon lit clubs you are talking a full hour back to Mandaue.

On Anninuan beach beach, just West of White beach, Tamaraw Beach Hotel has some bunaglows on the beach but unlikely the wifi works there (you must go by reception or in restaurant).

Cable or sat t/v for football private patio?

In Cebu you could check out the various resorts in Lapu Lapu. If you go out of Cebu into the province of Cebu your selections in places like Bantayan island, Moalboal will be endless, BUT the catch is there is very little there in support such as TV, transportation (some guy with a motorbike & side car) no cable phones don't work etc and the available babe selection is rather limited to none. usually one takes their own someone they met in cebu city aka: BYOB.

    Rental et al

Everything is close to the beach in the PI, if you are thinking of rental in terms of long term like living in the PI then what you are going to end up with (Bungalow) is something you are not going to want to stay in for long and in an area you are not going to be comfortable in.

You are also going to have to get away from the city, like WAAAYYYYY out.

You can check out places like San Fernando, Barili near Moalboal in Cebu

DO NOT MAKE ANY ARRANGEMENTS OVER THE INTERNET BEFORE HAND and DO NOT give a Filipino OR A FOREIGNER money to "hold" before you get there, see the place up front.

Every foreigner I ever met (a few) who did this was sorely disappointed when he came to view the place it was not as portayed, a yard full of crowing chicken next door, nosiey kids playing outside the window or a pig trough up wind

If you as a foreigner rent something (most places are one year lease, six

Months maybe if you are lucky) it has to meet certain requirements. Security first and foremost.

Running water and a reasonable working toilet second, electricity capable of handling air cond, a computer at the same time and a micro wave/refridge

TV VCR. MANY PLACES DO NOT. I bring a portable laptop computer that can handle WIFI and get a local broadband account.

Your strategy should be, come here, look around, but stay in a cheaper hotel until you get oriented.

'Course you can find a cute little "tour guide" to help out too

    Palawan, Puerto Princesa Girls

I've just returned to Cebu from a couple of months on Palawan. It's not so easy to find "open minded" girls in such areas, but I met 3 nice ones (20, 25, 29) during my time there. Like most girls in Phils their ultimate aim is to get married, but I think they are open to shorter term arrangements to help with their finances etc if that's not what you are looking for. The 20 yr old is at college, petite and very slim, the 25 year old is tall, good figure and good fun but deaf and dumb (if you wish to meet you may wish to bring along one of the other girls - they are all friends). the final one is 29, graduate more curvy but very womanly figure. All are honest and trustworthy. PM if you are interested in contact details, let me know a bit about you eg age , nationality, race , what you are looking for so i can tip them off that someone may get in contact.
