You will often find especially attractive and sexy profiles come from Zambo City. It seems to be the national HQ of the scam industry. Very few Westerners will go there so typically the "girls" you chat to from there will be looking for you to send money to buy a flight ++ so they can come and visit you. Occasionally this will be real but more often its a scam operated by Lady boys often using pics of see List Celebs / Models. If the "girl" has high quality pics with a model like face and plenty of skin and is from Zambo be especially wary.

I haven't been back for years but I'm getting almost daily reports from trustworthy (ex) residents that Sabang is waaaay down on western tourist numbers and that the tone of the town has changed considerably. There is always the X houses in Sanur (wildly varying quality), the cheapest fucks on the planet ($16.75usd), combine with a scuba shop operating out of Sanur to terrific diving in Lembongan / Penida Island areas.

One thing that I didn't mention was that AC has shown us that life is what you make it: one guy can go and lament the girls, attitudes and changing demographics while another guy will post that he had a great time.

Maybe the answer is just to turn up and deal with whatever is there. I'm sure there are still beaches, diving and girls. How it all fits together is up to the person on the ground.

The public drop off point can be PG / Balatero or White Beach or the Sea Plane to Elizabeth's. The road to Sabang is passable but a trike mafia has tripled the fee to get you and your gear to Sabang (the sea plane jetty to Sabang is now 400 p vs the normal 150 p). Expect a pretty major fuck around at any transfer point.

The PITA factor of the bangkas has changed the whole dynamic of Sabang. Numbers of tourists that used the public boats (read Westerners) have been decimated. Numbers of tourists that used packaged charter connections (read Chinese) have sky rocketed. Obviously this has a major affect on the bars and the target market of the girls.

Make up your own mind but it's not a place I'm rushing back to visit.

Thanks RK (and the PMs I received). Its unanimous that going to ZC would be foolhardy. To be honest, I wouldn't enjoy being confined to a hotel and not being able to look around alone or with company.

I've lived and worked in several Asian archipelagos and regions where terrain or isolation have lead to different areas producing people (girls) with strikingly different looks. Eg one area might have a tall slim population and another short and buxom. Surprisingly it can also produce regional attitudes and sexual skills as well. EG.

I'm no anthropologist and am not familiar enough with the different Philippine provinces to distinguish between the regions' different girls but yes, my quick sample brought up many Z girls that were ticking all my boxes. Apparently they speak Chivocano dialect there which is close to Spanish and which I have a working grasp of. A Zambo girl once told me that there were still native Spanish speakers in Z, the last in the Phils, which seems to have forgotten about the 350 years as a colony.
