If you want pinays at Ipanema, the ones that I have seen hang out near the bar area on the bottom of the place (not the bongo bar). They don't like to mingle with the Viets (I'm told) as the viets are stunning (and service-less in my opinion). Another tip about Ipanema. If the girls come "late" (that is after 9-930 pm) , they pay their $ and then they have to hang out in the Bongo bar upstairs for 30 mins before they can go downstairs. Now, sometimes there is very nice ladies up there waiting to go down. Could perhaps make a deal then. Ipanema doesn't have a lot of pinays, but the ones I have taken out have been fun. More like "regular girls" I'd say.

The Singapore Government has a "restriction" on it's citizens for gambling. So you find there is an I'd screening of may asians entering the Casino. When walking through the casino I saw few single women by themselves. As mentioned above security is a bit tighter here that at other 5 star hotels because of the casino. I have not been there for 6 months so perhaps things have changed. Mongering in SIN has changed dramatically in the past 10 years.

Well, the pinays are also found at People's Park in Chinatown after dark. Now they are all hot and sweaty there (as will YOU be going there). But there are some hanging, waiting for customers. Agree with ET. Have found some gems at the Pinoy bars at Lucky Plaza. Well, since Blue B Closed and PP become a BMD bar, more Pinoys are congregating in Ipenema, and as I wrote, they are becoming more pro-active in approachign guys, but not too forceful or mercenary.

It is sad how things have changed. I do really like Brix as a location and have had some of my best experiences from there over the past two years. My later experiences in the last 12 months have nearly always resulted in the girl demanding payment up front (which you should never do! I have learnt that the hard way), ridiculously inflated prices and poorer quality service.

I have, however, had some good success from, 'The Living Room' at the Marriot and not always in the early hours of the morning. I took out a lovely young Thai girl from there about 6 months ago and a nice Viet 2 nights later both before 11. 00pm. Both around $400 for the night and great quality overall. A previous trip I took a beautiful Filipino from Ipanema for 300 overnight who said a lot of her friends were now going to the Pump Room at Clark Quay (The band there rocks by the way!). Visited Brix with two friends at two occasions. Was also disappointed by the looks and behavoir of women. When in the past there was a high ratio of quite seducing women, there were much less.

Spoke to a tall Mongolian (name not remembered) and she confirmed a ridiculous price of 500SGD for the night or 300 for ST.

Depends what you want to do.
