I just learned yesterday that Country Jamboree will be closing at the end of this month. It's supposed to re-open at 64 Boat Quay in December, but I doubt it will be quite the same. Headed over to orchard last night. Did my usual walk from Wheelock place up to Orchard Parade, back, crossed street and up and around OT. I had the opportunity to wander away from my Beijing haunts to have a brief taste of Singapore. It was my first time there, and didn't have freedom of movement.
