Can any member tell me whether all the Laksa options are located in Geylang, or are there any which are out of more central (Bugis etc.) hotels.

Laksa girls operate all over SG, not only Geylang.

so, my elderly visitor has been and gone. i faithfully conveyed all the information gleaned from other members of this forum, but he was so hesitant (his first trip out east) that i had to go along with him. what the heck, it was a free ride.

so at the next opportunity, we used the laksa option. btw, is it true that they respond only to local numbers. my friend had an overseas roaming on which he got no response, so i had to make the arrangements on mine (which is a bit tricky at home). so we set up to meet 2 viets, and off we went. unfortunately, the location was again geylang, which was a bit of a dampener for my friend, but he had a big smile on his face when he emerged. mine took me back to my more active mongering days. a cute 19yo, not very adept in the art, but very willing to please.

i wanted to take my friend to a more salubrious (when compared to geylang) location like the hc recommended by united1, but we ran out of opportunities to get away. the experience has, however, tempted me to go back and try the hc options in excelsior or cuppage, and get a good massage in the bargain. will file a report if i do, but meanwhile, thanks again to the members who helped with pmed suggestions.

Hahaha! My Sillypore frens spend money for nothing! Last KTV I went to last weekend at Chjimes had these gorgeous TAIWANESE tall leggy hotties gyrating & singing serially on stage. Ladies drinks are. Get this. SGD $ 75 each! They have Carlsberg beer tower which we all shared as well. Garlands for the girls are $ 50 & 100.

I found this hottie who I wanted to take out for "dinner & drinks" : $ 300 an hour she said on a weekend night and $ 150 an hour on off-days & weekday evenings.

Actually there are 2 Categories in many PRC houses Cat 150/1 hour / 1 shot and $100/45 minutes / 1 shot.

Cat 150 are full service while Cat 100 may not be that experienced

My take is. Cat 100 are those 'expired' ones. Or nearing expiry dates. Vs cat 150 where the girls are slimmer, and as they say in Singapore, Tigers / Commandos LOL.

As a middle aged westerner I am use to being discriminated against, it's only minorities that you can't discriminate against. Hopefully I will have enough at the end of my hols to try the PRC, if not Thai houses here I come (never been keen on the street meat, even if I could get it for $35)

Well, seriously, streetwalkers tend to charge more when you are caucasian / indian / african looking etc vs the houses. And hence my preference for the cat 150 houses, where they don't discriminate.

My favourite 150 house is 41, in Lorong 20 ask for June.

Sorry to be a smartass, but you can tell it's a S$150 PRC house when, get this, they charge you S$150! .

Beyond that, the lower end cheaper Thai houses tend to be on the lower number lorongs, PRC shops, higher number. The Cat 150 PRC shops also tend to look a bit nicer upon entry. Thai houses rougher and more utilitarian. Check L6H66 as a typical Thai example, and L20H41 as PRC.

Hi, after reading many post here, here is my full and sorry but long report. First was to find a nice hotel. Searched Agoda for prices on the hotles mention here on this site. Deceided on Landmark Village Hotel in Bugis area. Well I did have an early check in at 5 am and did say I would be checking in early. No problem

No extra charge which I was very happy about, The room was a deluxe on the 10th floor very large 32 sq meters a king size bed and huge TV screen, nice shower.

But no bath. A lovely view over the swimming pool and no other building blocking the view. There is no walk of shame either. As when you enter its at the lower.

Level, by the porter and there are 3 lifts there so you can go straight to your room with out going anywhere near reception. You can take the lift or the

Esculater to the reception to check in. No I'd card for the lifts, so really you only have the night porter to see you and the girl on your arm. It is a 4 star hotel and the cost was a special at $125 Australian dollars. The MRT is a 3 minute walk and next to a very large shopping center. The cab fare to Geyland area is.

Around $7. 50 but I always gave $10 and told them to keep the change. It is nearly a non smoking hotel but they do have some rooms for smoking. But around.

Pool and most places in the hotel was non smoking. I did not try the food as so many other places to eat so I like to get out and about. I would recommend this.

As I only had a 18 hour stay over I deceided to try a few girls from locante adds and from DIA and Tagged. They girls from locante where all very expensive around.
