I made a trip to OT this weekend as a good friend who was in town insisted I go with him. I have not been there for nearly a year now, and this visit was a good reminder of why I stopped going there. Ugggghhh!
Really ugly women, unruly drunk men and over priced warm beer.

The problem is that there are not good alternatives to OT and Ipanema in Singapore, excluding joints in Geylang and personal contacts.

Your post explains why in the last years I simply transited few hours in Singapore, without stopping over there a single night, and I directly moved to Batam (with the exception of one full week in Singapore due to work). With what I should spend for one night in Singapore (hotel, restaurant, drink and girl from Ipanema) I can be a King in Batam for THREE DAYS AT LEAST

Swiss F+be school is more likely to know about cheese fondues, last time I looked there are not a lot of fresh salmon in that part of the world. In a top end restaurant the salmon flesh should be under-cooked and a little luminous if you know what I mean..

This is the first time I hear Swiss people cited as a reference of high cuisine. It's the last country after UK where I would enjoy spending money in a first-class restaurant.

There is no discussion on that. Salmon must be cooked just on sides, and totally raw in the center (cold or slightly warm, but red). Who does not know that is really unaware of cuisine basics.

For Americans, try to go to Smith & Wollenski and ask your porterhouse FULLY COOKED throughout. They will bring the plate to the table hardly hiding disgust.

On Sunday it opens at 4 pm and during August has some good opening drinks offers. I planned to go tonight but picked up a bug. I am out of town next weekend, but if anyone goes please post.

For what it's worth, the owner of the Underground is the same owner of Ipanema in OT. When I was there the bartends and staff were wearing Ipanema shirts. Pretty much the same Sunday crowd that leaves the top floor of OT around 6 pm when the European women take over and instead of going to Ipanema they head there. Pretty fun crowd and if you are there and can have the time to work in a maid who only has one day off a week plenty there to start working on LT relationships. I was there only for a few days and didn't have time to spare.

Not in this case; the person I was with was trained in one of the best Swiss F&B schools. She knows her salmon.

The norm in Singapore is to overcook most Western food, as that is the way most Singaporeans expect it. Probably not in the true Hi-so end. I am sure the places with stars know what they are doing.

The fish just has to be fresh. Like in Sashimi. Would your GF cook that?

I didn't read the rest of the thread but you might want to check the lady's diploma.

Nice report! There is some spread out Thai discos / flower joints. Ming Arcade, Oriental Plaza and Boat Quay / Clark Quay not been around these a lot but might be worth checking out. If you find anything interesting please share.

Thanks MakeIt. I will try and research. On another note, I wandered around lucky plaza today. OMG Singapore has changed since the poor maids got a day off! I spotted a bunch of Filipina bars on the top floor. All had closed doors, which puts me off a bit. But has anyone had a look inside?

Did something different on Sunday, went to DU (Underground) on the road to OT. On Sunday evenings mostly full of maids on their last hours of freedom before reporting back. Saw one form the past and tried to get her to come back to my room but she refused as well as another that I had managed to pick up on the street earlier that day. My guess is if you have time to put up with only a one day meeting and can pursue it you can find some pretty decent long term potentials there

So I chose one from the pictures I received and gave a fake name and room number though I had to email a picture of room key. When the time came received a text that they were at the door (sorry for whomever was in the room) and met a different provider on the floor.

That's an interesting tactic, will keep that in mind should I try this service or one similar!

IMHO, best to walk if deal not stuck to. Good indication of expected services as most consumer protection clauses do not cover this area. One advantage of local girls, if you are bulletproof if found out.

All the MPs I have been to so far in SG, I have been disappointed by and the women (mostly PRC) are eager to skip the massage and get down to business straight! I talked to a couple of places on the 5th floor of Far East Plaza. Outside they said stuff like $30 for 30 minutes. Once inside that wasn't available. One place offered $200 for a BBBJ. I pointed out FS was only $100 or less in Geylang and left, the second place offered 45 minutes body to body with one shot (presumably by hand) for $100. Girl was cute so said okay. Then she said $50 for Boss. At which point I left.

I keep looking for decent deals.

I am never sure that the girls in IP's are freelance, but I haven't had that conversation yet. When I do I will report back. If you know they are, and are not connected to agent or pimp, then please post. I guess if they still have their passports that is a good sign. Got me interested in finding out now. Just if it is freelance, why are they all Viets? Or aren't they? It's not a hostess bar. I will try and head down soon. Last time early in the week I was in there when the girls came in about midnight and a young one pushed towards me and was very direct in offering sex and when I declined she just swore at me. I just laughed and walked away. If they are freelance she needs to learn some manners. If it wasn't Singapore I would assume she was on drugs. But of course no drugs in Sing.

I have been in Singapore for a couple of weeks and have made a few trips to OT to find out what goes on there now. All the mentions on here seem to be for Ipanemas and I was hoping there were some freelancers bars left. But it looks doubtful. So this is where I tried. All of my visits were mid week and before midnight.

Downunder Bar. Full of Pinoy ladies that are paid by the bar. Decent to talk to but not many hot ones. Small beer S $10.

Country Roads, went on very quite night, aging Viets, good to talk to but not for anything else. Suspect the cute ones come in later. S $14 or 15 for a large draft beer.

Drunken Poet, Irish pub with prices to match. No sign of ladies, but I wasn't expecting them. It is open to 4 am for the football though.

Queens. This was a bit odd, but not bad. Walked in and it looked like a large Thai agogo. Small draft beer was S $10. The girls said they were all Indonesian but the accent and the cross gave the one I was talking to away, and she admitted she was pinoy without too much interrogation. She was a bit chubby but nice to talk to. I bought her a G and T which was $20. But she said all the girls were freelance and not paid by the bar. It might be true. But would have to BF one of them to find out. Some looked fairly hot.

The place that used to be Three Monkeys. Thought it might be a Pinoy freelancer place. Beer was only S $6. But the girls admitted that the lady drinks were S $60 for 5 shots. Some were hot, but they said they can't leave the bar until it closes. They where nice to talk to though and clearly not completely happy with the business model as they had no salary..

I have done a few more bars now so thought I would attach to the original post.

Top 5, many years back know as Top 10, on old converted cinema apparently. I assumed it got smaller when it went to Top 5, but it looked the same, but my memory might be failing me. You have to pay to get in but that gets you a drink. They have dressed European ladies dancing next to poles. If you wanted a European they all looked okay, I didn't, but some dark skinned lady came and talked to me. She looked pretty hot, and said she was from Indonesia, she looked African but here skin felt SE Asian. I was only on a reccy so I left after I finished the beer.

Desker Bar? On the top floor at the front on the RHS as you look towards Orchard Road. Had a lot of hot / semi hot Pinoy ladies outside. I went in, first beer was S $6 after that S $12. A very cute 20 yo called Aki talked to me, she didn't look fully Pinoy, but said her dad was Japanese, which looked about right. I asked about drinks and it was S $36/48/60 for 3/4/5 tequila shots. They could also do beer but S $48 was the minimum for 4. The girls couldn't leave the bar, but they did say they had a room which customer could hire for S $390 which included lady drinks. Not sure what you could do in the room. Anyway, not my kind of thing. But I did buy a second beer and listen to the band, who were playing rock and were very good. Oddly I quiet like the bar, and might go back, but only for a drink. It was like a Monday or something and before midnight.

Bar next to Desker Bar had closed doors and a lot of Indian men hustling outside. No way in hell I was going in there.

Downunder Bar, went back to bar to find out the scene. Again it is a hostess bar, the girls can't leave the bar, and only lady drink options are multiple shots etc. Beer is $10 for a small one. Girls ere nice enough, but can't talk really once you tell them that you aren't going to spend S $48 destroying their livers. I don't know whether they water the shots, it didn't look like they did in Desker Bar. But then again I guess it wouldn't.

Peyton Place in the Basement. This has been there for 30 years at least. About 10 or so years back they started to have lady drinks, but one was fine. I walked in after midnight on a Friday and there were a lot of mostly pretty Pinoy's and only about 3 men. I left to be followed by a pretty girl. I just asked her if the lady drinks were multiple tequila shots and she said yes.

So I have a few bars left to do, but as far as I can see, there is only the one freelancer bar left in OT. Country Roads, which for now at least is the same as it always was. I went in for a beer about 11 pm early in the week. A Viet. Lady came to talk to me. I had talked to her on a previous visit. She looked about 40 but seemed nice enough. I said I was short of cash, and she agreed to come long time, until lunchtime, for S $150. She asked for payment up front when we got to room, which I declined and said pay tomorrow or leave, she stayed. She had a bit of a gut, but the rest of her was in good shape, and she had a great pair of natural breasts which were big enough to titty fuck. Which I did for the third shot. I gave her S $200 and $10 for the taxi as she tried hard and I had a nice time. I am sure she will be more relaxed next time, she was scared of not getting paid. Which I guess is an issue on Singapore, as all sorts of men seems to hang around OT.

I am still trying to find out why all the other freelancer bars have gone, but more on that when I have an answer, or maybe not if it is the answer I expect to get.

Made a recent trip to Singapore and share this report.

OT / Brix: Pretty much the same as everyone has been saying. Made it to OT late Sat night early Sun morning and found the usual fare. Met up with a Pinay from the past and pretty much settled for her. This one has been a mainstay so I guess by now we are in agreement we are one each others team. Just means a lower price for me when available. I did manage to pull a Viet and once in the taxi on our way to hotel I realized I had been with her before. I got the "No we haven't" from her but once in the room she recognized laptop, etc and said she remembers and gave me specifics from our last session. Overall a good time with her wish I could have put her on the team. Brix was Brix, pretty dead on a Sunday night and some of the same women are still working there.

Locanto Ads. TOFTT and before I arrived played around with Locanto Personals for Escorts. Made a few reach outs on WhatsApp to set things up. When I got there, some began to reach out. When I tried to set things up, first they wanted to know my name and room number. Never mind the ads where we could "meet up" to go out to eat, etc. I tried that approach with one and she replied via WhatsApp lets go to the room first. So I chose one from the pictures I received and gave a fake name and room number though I had to email a picture of room key. When the time came received a text that they were at the door (sorry for whomever was in the room) and met a different provider on the floor. Let her know that she wasn't the picture and she said that was a web photo (foolish me I didn't check). Then while in the room I received another text from her asking where I was, and she informed me that her "handlers" were the ones doing the texting. They are Filipino (lady boys) who were running them. I did the check with this one and could tell she was a lady (late 20's one kid, nice body but you could see stretch marks from birth), as well as chatted back to online handler that I was not impressed with their business model of bait and switch. After that, all of the various ones from Locanto stopped texting me. Opted for a nice HJ and message from her since she was there, it was ok just something to calm my nerves from the bait and switch.

Lessons learned: Be vary wary of Locanto Singapore ads as well as any others. If you get a form type response from them you know they are not "truly independent" but also be careful for those who keep saying meet at the room first. Be cautious when setting up the meet. I don't like giving my name and room and if possible set up the time after the elevator restrictions kick in (I didn't do that). Otherwise treat them nice and stay safe!
