I'm not an OT regular, have only been there 3 times but last month I went to the Football Pub twice: Friday (no football game on TV) and Saturday night (big football game on TV) , and both times the place was dead. On both occasions. 4-6 customers and 2-3 Thai girls (30ish) who looked like they were employees.

What was so special about this place?

I like it as much for what it's not as for what it is. It and Harry's are the only pubs in OT where many, if not most of the customers aren't there to pick up working girls. It's pretty laid back, it usually caters to an older crowd (except when a navy is in town) , and the staff is friendly. It's like a neighborhood pub that happens to be in a red light area.

After 19 years, Craig and Lat are closing The Football Pub (AKA FB's) in OT. Supposedly the owner of Club Romeo will be taking over the space and remodeling it into another CR.

FB's wasn't the first pub I went to in OT (that would be Club 392) , but it's been one of my favourites for over a decade. I'm sad to see it go.

Are there any PRC WGs around the OT area? I'm looking to stay at Orchard Parade for just a night, but it looks like most of the WGs there are Thai, Viet or Pinay. If I'm driving down from KL would it still be advisable to take the taxi to places too far to walk to, or is driving an option?

Hi everyone. Thanks so much for the advice. I had already been to Singapore and back by the time I caught up with the replies, but the advice got from everyone in this thread was great. Nothing really to report, but entirely my own fault.

I've been to several spas and massage parlours in Malaysia, but this was first time looking in Singapore. Since I was in Orchard Parade I just walked over to Orchard Towers. If it wasn't for all the sharing you guys gave in this thread I probably wouldn't even dare to walk in, but I did, and saw so many girls of different colours, shapes, sizes, ages. (really, some of them must be extremely optimistic or hopeful) and I swear I'm having trouble telling whether some of them were really women or shemale. I found a sweet PRC girl standing at the corner of the back door of OT, but she was already waiting for a customer to come pick her up by car. A bunch of girls tried to get me to enter Harry's but I wasn't looking for a BMD experience (although in retrospect, maybe it wouldn't have been a bad idea since it was my first time in OT). Then this group of tall, beautiful girls walked out of the washroom and strode past me towards the exit, and one of them, really beautiful (in fact, probably the most beautiful girl I saw that night. Sparkling eyes, tall, slim, long legs, long straight hair) gave me a really beaming smile and held out her hand to shake mine. I was a bit stunned by her looks and just smiled at her, and then her equally beautiful friend speaks to her in the deepest bass voice I have ever heard. All of sudden my world comes crashing down, and I start to be very careful, and every girl I see kind of think too much. I really wonder how you guys can tell so naturally!

I then bumped into a fairly cute girl, also tall (which worried me a bit) who was with a lady friend, and she said "ni hao ma" in off-tone Chinese. She looked Thai or Filipino. Again I stood there thinking and wondering, and smiled back at her. She crosses the road to Forum and walks down Orchard Road towards Wheelock. The more I thought about her, the more desirable she seemed (and that voice didn't have a hint of maleness in it) , but by the time I decided to follow her and crossed the road to the Forum she and her friend were nowhere to be seen. Then I became a bit too sentimental and kept thinking about her and suddenly most of the other girls didn't seem that attractive anymore. I walked back to OT, then the police came. Two patrols cars pretty much parked right in front of OT entrance, driving all the taxis and the girls loitering around the entrance away, and the cops walked about in two pairs picking up girls and asking for their IDs. No chance that my little "ni hao ma" girl would be walking back this way now, I guess. I loitered about inside OT for a while, looking about, not seriously anymore, since still thinking of that girl, and then at around 2am I walked back to OT, alone but having had one of the more exciting experiences I've had in Singapore. I'm pretty sure the next time I go there I'll have something more substantial to report, but just wanted to thank you guys. Without your encouragement and selfless sharing, I'm sure I wouldn't even gone there and had such a good time (it was a good time even if I didn't score, really) , or maybe I'd have ended up SGD500 poorer in some bar, completely intoxicated, or having a Viet pro leave me high and dry, or even worse, ended up in bed with something horrible and regretted it in the morning!

True, but he said he was going to be staying at the Orchard Parade hotel and was asking about places that are too far to walk (I. E, Geylang). It would probably take him longer to catch a taxi from Orchard Parade than it would to walk across the street to OT ;-)

As Bionicman says, taking a taxi will be much easier. Parking can be a hassle in Geylang, and taxis are everywhere (except when it's raining).

Most are, but there are also PRC and Russian WGs (with a smattering of East / West African, Indian, Indonesian, Cambodian, etc.). If you don't feel like going to Geylang, then you should probably be able to find something at OT.

It) they are the most hard nosed and commercial I have met. Aside from a couple of good ones in Shanghai I have always bombed. If they ask to go home in five mins move on. In OT the Cambodians seem more relaxed and just as much fun (views?) or the Pinnays. Always good value. But kind of reassuring to read that others views and experiences are similar. Will see what this evening brings.

Back in my days in KL, I used to hang out at the Beach Club. At first it was better, then began to get filled up with stoned Vietnamese ladies and that made it harder to hook up with desirable WG's. There was one who kept following me around wanting me to take her out. She was so wasted it was pathetic. Then she came up to me with her phone and showed me a close up pic of her snatch. LMFAO at that one and she got pissed off and thankfully left me alone. Anyhow, I was pretty much down on the VN's for awhile. Then a friend took me out to one of the local bars away from the tourist traffic out in Geylang 48. The girls there come to your table in pairs and ask politely if you'd like them to sit with you. And it's no big deal to decline. If they stay you give them some from your bottle and tip them $20 when they leave. I met a really nice girl there and had her stay with me the rest of my trip in Sing. Not the prettiest but she had a killer bod and fucked like a rabbit. She only asked $200 a night so I was pretty happy. She stayed in touch for quite awhile by SMS later too, but we never had a chance to hook up again.

So don't toss out all the Viets. There are still some good ones around!

I am in some disagreement with PE

Those valuable should be in the room safe including the cash you intend to pay with. While it is in the safe, you have control. Leaving cell phones and cash out is not too wise or advised particully if you are drunk.

I do not get drunk for 2 reasons.

1. Mood killer.

2. You need your wits about you when in a room with someone you do not know.

I stand behind what I indicated about the Viets, although pretty, they are too business like. Discussing terms at OT is agreed to. Getting to know them and seeing what kind of person they are is advised. If they are pressuring you to go back to your hotel instead of sitting and having a good time with you. Drop like a hot steel ball. But even doing all this will not assure good GFE back at the hotel.

I have to agree. I once had a bit too much, but not that much I thought and had left money on the side. We had agreed LT for $200. First deed done. A bit of a doze. Next thIng I hear is the door closing. She'd whipped an extra $100 into the bargain. One as with other mongers, I chalk up to experience. The safe is there for a purpose. Use it and never leave out more than you are prepared to lose.

Took a look at geyland one night. By comparison, it seemed downright seedy, and none of the girls sitting in the front rooms seemed very tempting, but they are inexpensive, and I could see how it might be convenient to just walk in to a place for service. I am not sure why there are so many short term hotels there. Are they for FLs who come out late?

The short term hotels are for the girls. Street-walkers.

If you go between 16 and 18, PRCs shoulder to shoulder. Trying to ask 100$ but can fight for 70$

Between 12 and 14. Indonesians, pretty young. Some scaringly young. Not even 20. For 40/60 or so.

And the Indians / Sri Lankans, between 18-20, as well as the dozens of Thais.

They start trolling by 7 pm or so. As well as an occasional local girl.

Finished my first short trip to SG, which went very nicely thanks to all the helpful info here, and the very friendly PMs from a senior member. Opportunities for mongering seem similar to HK, but a little more expensive.

As others have reported, there is a lot of overlap in quality between brix and OT...
