I used to live in that area. Yes, I would run into mostly Chinese girls on the walkways trying to interest me in taking them home. Thanks for your reply and the tips. In addition to the regular hunting ground of OT frequently mentioned in this forum, I will try exploring Clarke Quay and Boat Quay. Not necessarily that I would be looking for the "regular office ladies", but I will probably also enjoy this nice scenic area.

well, technically, even though the news keep harping he is swiss, he is a resident here lol. he should have known the rules. my bet is he may not get the caning but a minimum of 8 weeks in the changi guest house is confirmed. after all, when the others were placed there, it will be unfair if a swiss guy gets away with it.

I have not been here since my late teens and then I did not know anything about mongering.

This time I went on business and I was there for 4 days. I wanted some action so I RTFF about Singapore to get a sense.

A hint :

- the ones who will grab you are viet, they have no shame / problem coming up to you and actually wander all around the place.

Yet again, this is why one never, ever pays until after, especially when your hotel is so close to Brix / OT. Never. Show her the cash, if she puts up a stink she's likely already planning a runner. At most, pay only ST up front. But better to never.
