I stayed at the Orchard Hotel as it seemed the closest to Orchard Towers so I'll drop a note on mongering via Orchard Hotel. The lobby area is very large (see annotated photos attached) and it is unavoidable that you have to walk past to the open area buffet to the right or the open area bar to the left as you make your beeline to the elevators. There are 2 main hotel entrances, but you will pass by the lobby and be seen either way.

I shit you not, the night when I first arrived at Orchard Hotel there was an anniversary celebration going on at the bar and there were around 40 women in business attire attending the bar area, so be careful if you feel embarrassed at all.

Other posters have reported that you can go through Claymore Connect to come into Orchard Hotel behind the escalators, but still have to walk around the escalators to the lifts and people from both the buffet and bar still see you. The walk is only half as long as going from the main entrance, but you still get seen. The Claymore Connect link is also only open from 10 AM-10 PM daily.

What I would suggest is that, unless you want half of the hotel to know about your mongering escapades, bring girls back to Orchard Hotel only after 1 am. At that point, both the buffet and bar will have closed and the lobby will be very much empty, save for the 1 or 2 hotel employees hanging around the reception desk who will promptly look away and pretend to be working once they see your lady friend. Other than that, perhaps there are alternative hotels in the area. I didn't get a chance to look at Orchard Rendezvous Hotel across the street.

Can I suggest that you consider visiting Singapore solo but weaving some punting into your day and night, just like you might with any other tourist activity?

Just plan things out. Plan your activities with the usual help of tourism guides etc. Build in a good amount of relaxing downtime instead of trying to pack your schedule. Choose some restaurants, but also some relaxing experiences like satay and tiger beer at Boat Quay, which is also good for just people-watching, or that 'satay street' at the hawker centre outside the Sofitel So. Maybe have a shortlist of bars you could visit with a WL if that happens to happen.

Now, into this, build some 'fun time'.

Consider a late morning or early afternoon visit to a 'massage' place, some are recommended here and I can also suggest Second floor of 413 A River Valley Road, Lisa aka Yoyo is the mamasan and eager to keep her customers happy. One Hardwarezone forum user, for instance, wrote: "Release Natalie. Freedom and justice for Natalie! She is innocent, pure and chio. " For those unfamiliar with the Hokkien word "chio," it's used to describe a woman who is pretty and attractive, with some sexual connotation added to it.
