I am traveling to Singapore on business in mid Nov. The hotels that have been recommended are the Hilton - Le Meridien - and Stratford (Swissotel) . Does anyone know if they are girl friendly. Also is there any other decent hotels you guys would recommend.

I beg to differ. Yes, in Geylang area, few workers live. But most of them can't afford to pay SGD40 for a thai girl or SGD100 for a china girl ST. There is a small side alley connecting lorong 18 and 20, where a few SriLankan/Indian FLs can be found for SGD20 ST. Main customers for these girls are workers from Srilanka/India etc. But the workers mainly go to Deskar road in little india, this area is solely catered for them. If you dare to go there on Sunday, you will see a lot of action, quite funny to watch.

I was in Singapore recently and made my required pilgrimage to Orchard Towers. The scene on the outside seemed more demure but the activity on the inside is still as plentiful as ever. In the past, I had contented myself with Ipanema. This time however, I decided to try TOP TEN since I had read about it in the forum. The girls there are mostly Thai, and Vietnamese with a sprinking of Indonesian, and are dressed more up market. You seldom see blue jeans and sandals. They are well dressed, and well groomed and therefore ask for a premium rate. Looks are average to nice and there are a few very good looking ones there but they know it and will not negotiate.

Someone in the Forum asked about the ratio of Asian men in Top Ten and I would say that on the nights I was there, there were about 30 to 40 % Asian men there (of the total men) and the girls seemed to care little. The amount of money one has is more of a predictor of success in TOP TEN than one's race.

Suggested approach tactics in TOP TEN differ. However, I must recommend the direct approach. If you see a girl that fits your criteria, don't waste time or she will be gone. Approach her, talk to her and invite her to sit down and for a drink. You don't get extra points for shyness in TOP TEN.

Invariably, there will be some girls that may come and talk to you. If they are not your type, then I suggest you unburden yourself as fast as possible. You can probably save 50 Sing dollars by going to Ipanema in my opinion. So the common acceptance rate there is going to be 100 to 150 Sing dollars even though they will initially ask for more.

Girls there are Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino and Indonesian and a few girls from China.

Asian men at Ipanema are about in the same ratio as at TOP TEN.
