I am a long time punter to the Philippines and Thailand. I will be visiting Seoul for the first time next month. I've been to Seoul on business enough that I speak passable Korean. But how do you let girls at RLDs know you can speak it when they're doing their best to ignore a white foreigner? Yell through the glass? Open the door and start talking?

I've gotten service at in the "b" row at 588 and also at Miari, but the girls didn't know I spoke Korean before they beckoned me in. In my experience the majority of bookers do not speak English. I'm Korean American and I still let them know that in advance, and talking with girls they usually don't see foreigners. Standard time is 1 HR for 130 k won, but you can book 90 min, 2 hrs, or more depending on the operation. Not all girls will do 90 min or 2 hrs though. Also there are some premium officetel places that run a lot more (I've seen up to 600 k won for an hour).

I looked on several websites and chose Cats officetel in Gangnam. Here's the process:

1. look up website for girls' names and the officetel phone number. Sadan 6 is a good website to start with.
