About the red-light districts and foreigners.

Many koreans, hookers included, are under the impression that foreigners are full of diseases. There is common propanganda that all foreigners carry some type of STD.

This is why many of them refuse or ignore you.

The only way around it is a) learn a few phrases in Korean to be able to say "I am clean, don't have STD and will use a condom" or b) go with a Korean.

The alternatives are a) the "call girl cards" or b) Itaewon.

Your options for the call girl cards are this, Seoul and most korean cities have many places called "Love Hotels" these are cheap hotels basically used for sex. If you give a card to the concierge he will call for you... problem is you will pay more.. The Room + Girl + whatever the concierge takes off the top. Best way is to ask him "Ol Mah Yo?" and get him to write down the answer. It will be the price in won.

For Itaewon, as you know there are tons of juicy girls. One club has some girls that are 8-10's. Its called Paradise its at the very top of the hill then round the corner. Walk up the hill, there is a regular bar called "Stompers" on the left.. go a little past it then turn right. Paradise is there. Its small, but, the girls are real girls, most are hot and you can negotiate them down. And its all about the sex in there. They speak enough english too. Just tell them what you want and they won't fuck around with the buying drink shit. Some might refuse full sex, but you can get a bareback bj for 50,000 and she'll let you cum in her mouth. Just remember to negotiate they will ALWAYS try to high ball you. If they ask for a drink they'll start at 20.. say no and they'll offer 10. Oh as a final aside.. if you are half-way good-looking, you can pick up regular girls at regular bars in Itaewon. Many speak english and are looking for foreign boyfriends and/or sex. Just don't be shy, march up to them and start talking. You'll be amazed at how easy it is. Its more work, as in, you may have to go 2-3 dates before you get any.. but its free (technically).

And by half-way decent looking, I mean just that.. many Korean girls are attracted only to status and/or anything that isn't a Korean man. Having fair hair and blue eyes helps. I can't count how many times I've been asked in a dark bar "You have blue eyes right?" Koreans are obsessed with western eyes.. they hate their eyes. If you don't believe me, walk around Seoul and look around, you'll see innumerable HOT korean girls with the dopiest looking white guys... white guys who would NEVER get a chick that hot where they are from.

I went to check out Yougjookul the other night.

I found Miari Texas by info in this thread, but wish to add. Returning from Asia on KAL, I have a 10 hr layover. I took a bus from Incheon to Gimpo airport, about 45-60 min ride. About 4,000 won.
