Actually, maybe military member don't use that term, however they are referred by people (especially in Asia) as GI. I used that term a lot to say they are military not so much as what branch they are in. And the only STD that is tested for on a 2 year basis as part as the physical assessment is HIV / AIDS. All other STDs are only tested for if the person asked for it when they go see a physician.

Okay, how the hell I missed this site for the past two years I have no clue. I'm surprised it isn't blocked by Korea's Big Brother. Anyway, great info guys and excellent direction. A brief update on my action based on the site;

Longtime member of ISG here, first time on the South Korea boards. The MP I marked with a red square on the map that I attached below. It's a small 5-story apartment building with a medium-sized neon pink sign hanging out in front. Couldn't make out what it said as everything as in Korean. So he lead me up to the 3rd floor and had me sit on the couch and offered me a fruit drink while he charged my card. The place was really small, a bit cramped, but very clean. Apparently it's a mom-and-pop establishment because he ran it with his wife who was wearing sweats. I really liked the vibe I got here. Really friendly and down to earth.

After about a 5-minute wait, he opened a screen door and lead me into a room and told me to change into these pajama shorts. The room was only big enough for a single size bed and a counter. There was an equally small bathroom in the back with a massage table taking up most of the space. Shortly afterwards, a girl came. She was really young (said she was 20) , medium height, thin, small A cups, but had a cute face and great hair.
